This place is fantastic. They have been honestly repairing my Vanagon for years now. 40 year old van constantly needs maintenance and repairs and United Auto always takes care of me. They always give me options of what needs priority what can hold off.

I had a great experience here. David worked on my Karman Ghia , he was honest, knowledgeable and got my car done quickly.Highly recommend and the prices were reasonable and my Ghia runs Great!!!!

I've always loved VW Beetles and when the right opportunity popped up to own one I jumped on it. I enjoy working on my own classic cars but I cannot fix everything. This is not my first classic car so I know finding the right mechanic is very important to get issues fixed properly and quickly. I searched online and found United Auto. Luckily for me they are just a few miles from my house. I have used them a couple of times and each experience has been great! Pricing very reasonable. The owner Walter and his son are amazing. They are excellent mechanics and amazing VW Air-cooled specialists who willingly share their VW knowledge with you. The owner even drives the same VW Beetle as me!!! I highly recommend United Auto for you classic VW needs.

Walter ,is the man who fix ,any problems ,and when it comes to take care and be very service and very communicate ,to ,customers ,excellent ,,service and work. This is ,,, third. VW that I have and he is very reliable and not $$$. pricey

So helpful and did a great job. I am never taking my Volkswagen beetle anywhere else. I had so many issues with other mechanics and David from United Auto fixed it all for me at a great price.

I'm the best mechanic I've ever had. The work is fast and very kind. The price is also reasonable. I'm riding an old vanagon. I finally met the best mechanic. I am very grateful. You can ride the car with peace of mind from now on.

If you are looking for a honest mechanic, which is actually a rare thing to find these days. This is the one you need. I have being bouncing from a mechanic to another one. Most of the mechanics, they are nice to you and make you feel comfortable just for a bit (couple repairs)and then after a while, they start adding and overcharging you everytime you stop by and making you think that they give you the best deal Ever, which is BS. United Auto, is managed and owned by Old school guy, and his Son David, oh man, you really feel that you are home. Prices are super super fair, work goes fast and they are super accurate. Also, the father is specialized in old school cars such as Beetle 71, and when you get there, he has more than 10 beetles for repair that people trust him with. I guarantee you if you stop by, you'll get the best repair and deal in town. Have being looking now for an honest mechanic for almost 15 years now, and finally found the rare pearl. I highly recommend him for anyone and any repair. Give it a try and thank me later.

I'm reluctant to give a review because I'm afraid of others discovering this place but feel obligated to pay it forward to the vw community! I love this shop! I am a new owner of an air cooled 82 vanagon and Walter was extremely generous and thoughtful in working with me. The whole experience of bringing my van in to Walter was a bit like a baptism in all things air-cooled! I am so glad to have found a car doctor for my van and I can't say how grateful I am to have found this place! Prices are very reasonable and turnaround time is also great! I brought in my van on the same day!

This review is long overdue because I am very reluctant to give reviews of anything. But Walter at United Auto is worth it.I met Walter many years ago after I had just purchased an old VW bug. He had what almost seemed like a magic touch. Later, I sold the bug and bought Toyota Corolla. After years of taking the Corolla to other locations that claimed to specialize in Toyotas, I decided to have Walter look at it. Same great service with high integrity at an extremely reasonable price.

I have a 1972 Karmann Ghia and my mechanic of 25 years recently retired. Luckily, I found Walter at United Auto. He quickly fixed everything I needed & charged a very reasonable price! I found a new mechanic for my baby!

Completely pleased. Fair priced & fast worker.Driving our 40+ year old VW Bug & had a breakdown mid-trip. Googled mechanics & United Auto came up among a few others. Debated what to do as I was completely unfamiliar with the area, but settled for United Auto when I read the reviews here.I needed to report to my new job before midnight the next day & told them my predicament. They pushed me to the front of the queue, identified the vehicle's problem, & fixed it, all within several hours of receiving my car (it broke down on the highway & I'd had it towed there during the night after my frantic googling).Cost was more than reasonable & I arrived at my destination that night with some time to spare. They turned a very stressful moment (unexpected breakdown) into a fast turnaround. Would recommend them to anybody! If I lived in the area I would use them as my regular mechanic.

I use this place for my 74 Karmann Ghia. They are great. I have used other places to no avail it was a waste of my money and my time. I was so glad when I found this place.
