Roy is extremely knowledgeable and a fabulous mechanic. He worked on my Vespa (on the same issue the Vespa company could not fix) and took his time to figure out the issue. He is truly gifted at what he does. He is the "Cycle Whisperer". HIGHLY recommend Roy for any and all of your cycle needs.

I find it almost funny that the only negative reviews for Roy's are from people that did not get any work done there. I'm sure they are sorry that they can't help everyone lol. That said, anyone that does get work done there knows that they are incredibly knowledgeable, and do great work at fair prices. Maybe I'm cynical but I enjoy his sense of humor. Thanks again, I'll be back......

I have called numerous times with questions and have never once been greeted nicely. Most of the reviews claim they are a knowledgeable shop, but they had no idea about the specific parts that I needed for a brand new bike. Just based on my phone experiences, I would never bring my bike in here.

Big talker but his work doesn't hold up. Beware of his condescending nature and the "storage fees" he will charge when his feelings get hurt.

I visit Roy s Cycle Service to get a few additional parts installed. When he inspected my bike he immediately saw some small issues that he took care of during the time I was ordering the parts with his assistant. He took the time to go over the bike and explained a few things to me that I was not aware off, when I bought my Honda Africa Twin at Ken & Joe s.I know for now on that I will only go to Roy for any maintenance, repair, upgraded or other service needs that I will need for my motorcycle!It is a comfort to know that there are still mechanics that care about their clients and are honest and good people.

My first time taking my bike to Roy's Cycle Service and I was extremely satisfied with the service. My issue was a starter circuit but also Roy did tune up and it runs like new. Very happy with the work and highly recommend him for your motorcycle repairs.

As my 1997 Triumph Daytona just stopped running on my way home, my heart sank. There was no clunk or anything, but I am freaking out about repair costs, and where to take a British bike. I got this bike in 2003 and am.not ready to loose her.I called Roy and went to his shop to interview him. He knew the bike well and even started talking g strategy to fix it. I told him i would bring the bike in for repair and he could take his time with it to make sure it was done right.I would touch base with Roy from time to time, but he fixed her up, and at a very reasonable price, although the term "reasonable" varies from person to person, but I am happy with the cost of the work for the result.I am now enjoying my trips on the bike again, after another brief layover at Roy's again for a new rear tire thanks to a nail in the road. Dumb nail.I have two other bikes to take to Roy for work, once I figure out which one I want on the road first.

Got tires installed for my 2015 ninja 650. Phenomenal price and a quick install. They even went over the bike for things to tune up. My bike has never rode so perfect.Never wright reviews, but Roy's is the place that deserves one. He's all quality.

Probably the best shop I've been to. Roy really knows his stuff and cares about his customers. I had a situation come up and while he was doing a tire change on my Dyna I had to dip out but had no idea he was going to be done that quickly. He held onto my bike and also gave me a chance to pick up my bike on his day off. He also fixed a dent in my rim, didn't even ask him to do that. I will be only going to him to get work done on my Dyna.

Roy is the best and most trustworthy bike mechanic I ve been to. He s worked on all my bikes and has been professional and technically sound in all areas. I trust no one else with my new and old bikes!!

I own a Yamaha 2005 Royal Star Venture with 175,000 miles on it, and he has been the ONLY person that I let work on my bike since the factory warranty expired. He does a much better job than the Yamaha Factory service center ever did on it, and at about half the cost !! One thing that I like about Roy is that he ONLY works on Metric Bikes. Roy Stands beside his work and if there is ever an issue, all I have to do is bring it back, and he makes it right with no additional charge.If you live in the Newhall area, or even close to it, it will be worth your time to check him out next time you have a problem or just need preventive maintence.

The owner himself needs to be retrained on how to provide proper customer service. I called this place just to ask if they can pick up a motorcycle from my house because mine was not running at the time. The owner, Roy, proceeded to tell me to just push my bike to his shop which is about 2 miles away.......He then decides to laugh at me when I told him no I can't do that. You can see from other reviews that the owner has a habit of treating customers poorly, and he clearly has not changed his ways. If you're just looking to get your motorcycle worked on, there are WAAAY BETTER shops out there that deserve your business. For example, Gemini Motorsports, in Canoga Park not only does a great job but ALWAYS provides excellent customer service, unlike these guys. Would give zero stars if I could.

In my 57 years, I have never reviewed a business before service or work is completed. However, this will be a 1st. I am an avid motorcycle enthusiast, and recently purchased and enjoyed a 2012 1700 Vulcan Vaquero. After 3 months of ownership, my bike would not start. Aside from the dealer , ( LOL) I didn't know a trustworthy shop to get a diagnosis of the problem. Upon checking online, I stumbled om Roy's Cycle Service in Newhall. All 5 star reviews and although somewhat skeptical, I decided to give them a call. After speaking with Roy, I felt comfortable enough to have the bike towed to his establishment. Although the work is yet to be completed and problem diagnosed and solve, Roy has kept me in the loop and took the time to explain what is going on. He contacted the maker, Kawasaki Corp. speaking with their tech dept. and is in contact with a local Kawasaki Dealer in an effort to problem solve. I have never felt such security and trust from a business much less a mechanic. This man is a class act and every 5 star reviews is well deserved. I have the utmost confidence and faith that my baby is in the right shop. Anyone looking for a knowledgeable, honest and professional shop, THIS IS THE PLACE!!!!!!I cannot recommend this business enough. As another local business owner in Santa Clarita, I am thrilled to know that places like this still exist. I just wished that he work on cars too.Thank you Roy and staff for your honesty and professionalism. I will be sure to let everyone know about you ( Judging from the sheer number of bikes he had in the shop, looks like everyone already knows ).Thank you.

Roy was very helpful. I have a bike no one really wants to work on (1985 Honda V65 SABRE 1100). He took his time to answer and explain all my questions. I appreciate his time and honesty.

Weird interaction here, I called to get a quote on a tire install for my scooter. Was told they only install tires they sell (which is fine). I told him that was a bummer, I already purchased the tires online and just needed an install, and he snarkily tells me to have eBay install them for me.It's not a great business practice to antagonize potential customers. It sounds like they're not happy that people purchase parts from the internet instead of them, and they'll let you know it.

Roy is the most knowledgeable person I ve ever meet about motorcycles. And a great mechanic to get you the best Repair for your money. I ve got two bikes from him and services All my motorcycles.

Honest mechanics are hard to come by. Roy will talk straight about the condition of your bike and will only give sensible recommendations.Great service and interesting conversation as a bonus.

Roy,s great at fixing the bike, didnot try to sell unnecessary stuff. Fixed my bandit exactly as need and quickly. Will go back and recommend him highly.

A genuine mechanic/technician, not just the usual "Parts Replacer", smart, friendly and fair! Can look at a bike and tell you what is probably wrong!
