Tire service sucks! They require appointments for tire rotation. Appointment made arrived 15min early as they asked. Was told would be an hour to an hour and a half. It's been 1 hour and they still haven't brought in the car for service. Unbelievable!

Don't it, bad customer service. Waited 3 days for them to pick up the phone and schedule an appointment.Got an appointment 2 weeks later, just so they could tell me they didn't have my torque spec. They wanted to schedule another appointment.No thanks....refund! Waste of time. Sure you save some money but the customer service is bad. Free installation means it will be on their terms and dragged out. Bad mistake.

Excellent work, the personel very courteous and the work was done at the time that they said plus the advice and recommendation that I need to do and the reason shown to me why needs to done ( tire alignment) was very rewarding knowing that the personel cares for the costumer.

TERRY BLE TERRIBLE SERVICE. DO NOT BUY TIRES HERE. I made the terrible error of purchasing my tires here back in November. To get them installed was a nightmare. Now I came back because tires come with service for flats fixing and air check ups. Well my tired has been going flat twice in a row so I came today to get it fix. I was told I have to go to the front desk and see if they will be available to fixed it. We need it to be fix today. There is only one cashier and 8 of us waiting. I regret so much giving Costco tire a chance. American Tire co. Has been great I should not have change. Finally was my turn they wont be able to fix it today and they have no appointments available until two weeks from now. Do not come here to waste your money.

I had a new full set of Michelin tires shipped to the Montclair location, and had an appointment set for 6:45PM through the website. Apparently, this location doesn't usually accept appointments this late into their work day and tried to reach me to get me in earlier, but I missed these calls and came in at around 6:30PM. In spite of that, they still took my appointment and did an excellent job without giving me any sort of negative attitude (which I greatly appreciated). I felt bad for making them work on something like that outside of their usual hours, so I'll definitely be mindful of that when I come back. I'd highly recommend this location out of the Costco Tire Centers in the IE.

Very slow service .If you go without appointment expect to wait from 10:00 am until 7:20 pm ( 9 h 20 m) .If I knew I wil go somewhere else .They give you a red cone with your number butthey dont respect the order .I was red #6 but red # 9 finished 30 min earlier than mine.( red cone not app_ green cone with app)Not coming back .Very dissapointed with the service.

Took 3.5 hours to change out 1 flat tire with roadside warranty. They "prioritize" the appointments as if one can predict and schedule a sudden blowout. Was promised 3 hours, which seems extreme already. We missed our dentist appointments and practices and still paid one forth of the purchase price when they were purchased in the last year.

This was a great experience! After waking up and finding my tire completely flat, I had AAA put on my "donut" tire and headed to Costco. When I first walked up to the tire center, the guy asked if I had an appointment. I told him I didn't and he said it would be a 2.5 to 3 hour wait. I debated, then decided I didn't want to drive on the spare tire, so I said okay. It actually took them less than 2 hours and they kept in touch with me to let me know what they were doing. I'm very happy with the service I received.

Service for tire service is terrible at Costco given good warranty on tires however when an issue arises that's when the problem begins . My wife recently came to get a flat tire repair at the Montclair location . Even after setting up an appointment . She had to wait over 2.5 hours to get it taken care. Seriously no sense of urgency from Costco tire center . and when they finally repair it the tech didn't even took the time to explain my wife the details of the repair. Costco tire service , this is ridiculously wrong my advise find a way to do better improve on your customer service skills . People have better things to do then just sitting in your waiting area for 2.5hrs for flat really ???.

I ordered 4 tires online on Tuesday and have them ship to this store, and the tires are delivered on Thur and Fri. I was worried that it might take me 3 hrs to have my car serviced the Sunday before MLK. So I arrived at 1:15 pm and have all the paperwork done by 1:30 pm. It only took them 1.5 hr and thus I picked up the car with new tires on by 3:15 pm. During working on my paperwork, the phone rang a couple times and you have to be at least hold for 15-30 min because the assistant is not going to be at the desk at all times since he has to walk into the garage and the tire storage frequently. They have appointment system now, and if you want to schedule an appointment, you should call the minute the tire store opens. Overall, I am quite happy with the tire change.

I went to Costco tire center for a battery . I called first to verify they had my battery and it was in stock so it wouldn't be a wasted trip as I was getting a ride from someone. They said they have my battery size in stock so all was good I thoughtgot there at 6:30 car battery in hand.the guy behind the counter said they didn't have that size and his computer wasn't working so he couldn't look up the replacement size I told him what it was he still said he couldn't find it and he had to go to the bathroom, I can see that. So I waited in the lobby me and four other customers for about 15 minutes it seemed like meanwhile I went outside got my tablet out of my ride's car I looked up the number from interstate gave it to him and guess what he found itgo Costco

I will never buy tires from Costco again. Because of the pandemic, my wife and I must now work far from home and we can t get to Costco early. We have been having problems with a tire we purchased from Costco. It continually loses air. We made it to Costco at 7:45 pm. There was no person at the tire center to assist customers when I walked in. After waiting for someone, I was told they were unable to assist me because they needed the car for an hour and 15 minutes minimum. I advised them that my commute prohibits me from getting to the center before 7:30 pm. They shrugged their shoulders and offered to make me an appointment for an earlier time even though I had just told them I cannot make it any earlier. This is terrible service if you need a service related to roadside hazards or potential defects. Save your money and time. Buy tires elsewhere. It s actually cheaper to get tires from other vendors, but the service I used to get at the tire center made up for the cost. There is no service, if you need toad hazard or defect service.

So I was In Ontario when I got off work on a rainy day to make matters worse. There s was a triangular piece of metal in my tire there was this Costco about a mile away from me. I called because it was 4 pm and I had no appointment. The gentleman that answered the phone said to bring my car over but when I got there the cashier said that it was just him and the person who answered my call and he was not going to fix my flat. He said even if you brought Your car in with 4 flats I would not fix it worse costumer service ever!!!!

I purchased my tires earlier than my appointment date figuring it would expedite this process. This was NOT the case. It took 2 hours to get new tires. They told me it would take 1.5 hours. Typically a tire change takes 15-20 min with a full staff. It's easy to see this development is understaffed and in need of some changes.

how does one review a tire shop? it was clean, had those plastic barriers by the register. plenty of bridgestone and Michelin brand just not my size, to get them (in this weather, and situation, will take about a week..) i'll update this then..

You get what you pay for here. So I got cheaper tires here for my car 3 months ago and my savings was about $100 over the competition like America's Tire. BUT, then came time for me to rotate my tires. I try to rotate my tires every time I get a oil change so after my oil change I went here for my "free" tire rotation. Well guess what? 2 hour wait. WHAAAT!!! There was one person helping all these customers. He basically told me to make an appointment but even appointments can take an hour. Dang. so yes you will save money in the beginning but then there's the cost of your time after that.. Geez

Always great, cannot say enough good things about the tire center. I started getting my tires at Costco after a bad experience with America's Tire, and then poor customer service from Pep Boys. The products have held up really well and I cannot complain at the level of service I have received. I now have Costco tires on all of our cars.

Appointment made, showed up on time...Only to wait 10 minutes for someone to even come to the counter. We were told to give them an hour to hour and fifteen. Okay hour and fifteen, came back to find them still balancing tires! Terrible service, rude technicians....Do yourself a favor go elsewhere!!!!

Both times I have gone in for service it has been nothing but a hassle. Staff is rude, unhelpful and rushed. First time I went in was to repair a flat, I had even taken the tire off the vehicle. Granted it was for a Polaris Rzr, I gave them the benefit of the dought. They don't repair OHV tires, but then I checked their website they sell tires for OHV vehicles. Second time was today, looking for a battery. I asked if they had a battery for a rzr, he said not in the book. Ok fine, I knew the group size. I asked do you have the group size, no we don't ok. I found two candidates that appeared to fit. I asked for a tape measure or ruler, sorry we don't have any.... really. Ok can I have a piece of paper and a pen/pencil. Well I got the paper but they "don't have pens" clearly he had some pens in his shirt pocket.Costco tire center must be the evil twin sister of Costco.

Competitive pricing for tires, as expected. When shopping around for mud terrain tires Costco was the cheapest. They also were quick for a tire rotation, much faster than other places I've gone. And they were actually correct on their time estimate.

While the prices are great and the employees are nice, the warranty service is terrible. I got a flat tire, and it took them all day to fix a 10 minute repair.

I'm here to tell you guys about the man who runs this tire center, his name is Jorge anaya. This man is one of the biggest liars I have come across in any business. Some one from his staff ordered me the wrong tire (paid for a more expensive tire recieved a cheaper model.) Any ways Jorge blamed every one other than himself for this screw up including his own colleagues. I came down they said they would match my truck tire for free because of the mix up and they would repair both vehicles at the front of the line. As soon as they are my truck they said it has 24s and it's a no way they can do it. I can tell Jorge knows absoulelty nothing about the tire business. When it came to my tire for my other car they said they could not take off my wheel caps, even though when I bought all 4 tires for $1000 they apparently took them off but lacked the basic skills to do it this time. So I drive all the way home twice take my caps off in 20 seconds come back and they fail to even put my caps back on or put my valve stem cap back on when they said they would. The manager here is a liability to Costco of Montclair.

Rip-off artists! Got all new tires and suddenly the TPMS sensors run low on power? This car isn't even that old and those just now die. Aren't they supposed to last like 10 years? Well that means these guys either broke the ones I had or replaced them with old ones in order to make more money. Well if that's the case I will go elsewhere for the sensors! I am not giving these scammers any more business and money.

They need a but more help. Stood at the counter over 20 minutes before I could get a basic question answered..8 other customers waiting also. Maybe someone didn't come in today or something but it looked like only 3 people total working the front and back area.

The employees here need training; you must know what you're looking for otherwise they give you whatever is in front of them. They gave me the wrong battery and I had to go back and forth to return the item.

Don't get your tires here. Under staffed / Really slow.They work like government workers. - Only one nice guy working, but he can't do much.
