Nice trail for both kids and adults. One trail with permission only closed, and the other trail is about 10 miles which we didn t walk to the end. The pond next to the parking lot is a little bit small, and can not get closer to the edge. Besides, the space of parking lot is limited, it will be better to get there earlier, maybe before 3pm.

Total length of hiking is about 7.4miles. It costed me about 3 hours to finish.Trail is very easy to follow. A big loop with 0.9 mile to the top. Most of trail will be shaded. No need for sunscreen. But, I still suggest you bring lots of water with you.Parking lot is small. I was there at 9am Saturday. I needed to wait about 20 mins after 3 cars left. However, when I was back to parking lot at 12 noon, there are serval empty spacings available. So, I guess rush our here is morning.

Close by if you live in the Bay Area is the main drawing card here. There are more beautiful parks between Bay Area and ocean, but this is already very nice. Good views!Parking lot is limited, so be here early. Hard to find a round walk, walk up and down is your only option if you want to go for a short hike

Reasonably large parking lot at the trail head of Alma trail. This is a popular trail, parking lot gets full during weekend, may have to wait a bit to find parking. There is a public restroom close to the parking lot. There is small loop trail around upper lake right next to the parking lot. there are few wheel chair accessible parking spots also available.

Very nice and wide trail. It s mostly shaded so you can technically come here for a nice hike any time during the day.

It is good place to hike ample trails. Especially during evening and mornings. Parking can be a problem sometimes but usually you tend to get one eventually people keep moving

Lovely and peaceful trail to hike. I'd think it's moderately challenging, trails are clearly pathed but certain upslope sections are a little steep. You could probably push a stroller or wheelchair, just use more strength to do so.

I don t think this is a parking lot at all. It s actually a closed entrance to the park. The real parking lot is at the south of the pond - just a little bit down the road. Not sure the gate was even open.

Limited parking space. No nearby additional parking lot. Need to go early otherwise be prepared to wait for a while.

Not many places, but close to trailhead and free, covered in the shadows of trees.
