We stayed at the RV park, not the cabins. The park is old, poorly maintained, and the sites are VERY close together. I can t fathom how anyone could rate this place any higher than 3 stars. The majority of the sites are occupied by long-term tenants whose sites are littered with all sorts of old junk. Some of the RVs don t look like they have moved in years, or are capable of being moved. The roads are thin gravel and a little asphalt; the sites are a combination of dirt and sand, which makes a real mess when it rains. The electrical utility receptacles are simply worn out, particularly the 30A ones. The utility pedestals are very close to both sides of your rig. The road into the RV park is steep, narrow and has several very sharp turns, including one hairpin turn at the end. The most disappointing thing about the park was that it has such great potential in a great location. BTW cell service is nearly non-existent; bring your Starlink if you need internet.

We have never visited Trinity Alps and were very excited to find a RV park with full hookups for us to stay at. I spoke to Redbud on the phone and she described the place to me and it sounded fairly decent. I was not able to find any pictures of the actual RV part of the park for some reason (should have been a clue #1). The website and most pictures show the cabins, the pool and the nearby lake. Those are the nice parts of the park, especially the proximity to a mountain lake and having a pool to cool off in. However, the RV park itself is more or less a home to many permanent residents who live in mobile homes and older RV's with lots of tarps, junk, toys, barking dogs and make it look and feel very trashy. The narrow 1 lane dusty path to the park is set up for smaller motorhomes, not a 32 foot 5th wheel. I was told they had spots large enough for us, which thankfully worked out, but getting in and out was very tight and scary. From our campsite we had the view of a large garbage bin and the workers' shed with lots of junk around. Not the view one expects on their vacation. The constant dust and noise from the worker driving his ATV up and down the path was not good either. It's really sad that this place is like this, because the location is really lovely, but it is more or less a home for those who live in trailers and mobile homes with their belongings spread around their area. The office is not staffed most of the day as other parks, so they have this clever system of using the walkie talkie to call a staff member. You can't just drop by the little store or play ping pong because everything is locked up. Someone is there in the middle of the day, but not on Sundays and there is no cell phone service so calling is not an option.I can see that the cabins are wonderful for groups and families to stay in and enjoy the mountains, but unfortunately the RV park is probably the worst one we ever stayed at and we travel all the time. Needles to say, I will be more diligent with my research in the future and will not be coming back to Lakeview Terrace.

Beautiful cabins, quiet place right on gorgeous crystal clear lake.. what more could you ask for? We took our son for his birthday and we enjoyed our trip so much that we booked another trip here next month! The cabins are perfect and had everything we needed, there was a cute store for essentials, kayaks and paddle boards to rent, and the staff is so unbelievably accommodating!! They made our trip really enjoyable. Our favorite part was feeding the deer, that came right up to you!!

This place is an awesome campsite with the best host Redbud and Ron and the owners are amazing too. All different kinds and sizes of cabins, RV with full hook ups and tend spots. Free hot showers and bathroom. A big pool. View of a beautiful lake across the street with great fishing or boating. A cool tree house. Lots of other fun activities. Store with essentials and games. Just went for a 3rd time to the music festival and it was incredible too. Great music, food and the price couldn't be beat.

Nice and quiet with multiple choices for rental cabins. They have everything from one bedroom modules with a loft that kids love to 5 bedroom cabins. All cabins have full kitchens. Lewiston Lake is right across the street and is awesome for trout fishing. Location is right between Trinity Lake and Trinity River. Beautiful. I'm very familiar with this resort and welcome any questions.

This park is in need of immediate TLC, so much potential! Located parallel to the beautiful Lewiston Lake, a short walk across the road. The video for this resort is very deceiving. We stayed in the RV park, the sites were clean and maintained, but the entire RV park is surrounded by permanent campers and mobile homes, with all of their life essentials under pop-up and lots of tarps (which obstruct your view of the lake). Some sites had picnic tables, others didn t. The campsites at the west side of the campground are located near a dumpster and the grounds keeper quarters, which also entail a sufficient amount of junk. The gentlemen on the 4 wheelers start in quite early, driving in circles, burning out with abrupt stops for no reason other then to show off and kick up dust. Sites are small, so if you re not parked the way the owner likes, you must park your car at the parking section, which is a walk for many site and very inconvenient. The bathroom stall doors (too high) and toilet seats (too low) did not align, leaving lots to be discovered. The front lawn that most activities are located on is dry and dead, use of the walkie talkie at the front office because no one wants to man the office during normal business hours is frustrating, items purchased at the store have a drop box you must drop off exact cash into.Unclear on the status of the cabins. Needless to say, we won t be going back.

We decided to stay local and really glad we did. We had fullhookups, water and empty station right at our site. Bring a grill for your outdoor bbq. Got to keep cool at the pool and use Facebook messenger there to send pictures to family. Lake just across the road so we could put in our kayaks or go up to pine cove to put in and float down. Eagles, osprey, herons flying about the mountains and lake. Fishing is better where the water is deeper. They have awesome cabins to rent too and very affordable we may try one of those next time definitely coming back. Thanks Redbud and Ron for inviting us to your home.

I loved staying here over the weekend! It s a great place, family friendly. The staff is great here! They have a little store on the resort with anything you might of forgotten at home. You can rent kayaks here and go in the lake that is just across the street! We got to see deers all the days of our stay on the evening. So amazing!!! I do highly recommend it here!! We stayed on a one bedroom cabin, and everything super clean. Will definitely come back here :)

This resort is a jewel! Surrounded by nature. Quiet except for the birds serenade at lakeside. Fished and toured the area s stunning scenery. Trinity Alps and Lake. Clean and comfortable accommodations with friendly hosts sharing their knowledge about the area and making sure you have what you need. Thanks Ryan for the charcoal and firewood! Best getaway in years! Deer and osprey sightings. Can t say enough about the beauty and peace we found here. We will return and bring family!

Aside from needing a bit of upgrading and some work on the pathways it was a great place and a fantastic experience. Friendly staff. Our neighboring cabin mates said they'd been returning every year for something like 32 years. Beautiful views. Playground, pool, laundry room, everything you need for a bit of glamping.

There is spots for RVs, a laundry room, a swimming pool, a playground. Beautiful hiking area, the deer came right up to us to eat our snacks, in a loving manner!! All in all 5 stars!! So pleased with this resort, will definetly be returning!!! A+++

Absolutely beautiful accommodations, comfortable, clean and well stocked with the necessities. Pleasant staff. New owners have done a great job of making this a world class fishing stay. *I had just returned to this area after 30 plus yrs. They made it a great welcome back. Mwah Jordan, Ryan, Miss Redbud and of course the caretaker Jason.

We had a great weekend here on beautiful Lewiston lake. The staff and owners are so friendly and wonderful. They really helped make us feel at home and checked on us to make sure we were happy. They brought us towels at the pool and played with our kids. This place is under fairly new ownership and the nice couple are obviously putting in a lot of effort to make this a family friendly place. The cabin is rustic and has the basic essentials. They are spread out enough so you don't feel like your right on top of your neighbors. We went on a quiet weekend. A baby deer came within 5 feet of us and the family passed by a couple times too. We walked down to the lake and it was so beautiful and serene. No one in sight. The marina is close by also. We had a 3 bedroom cabin with 3 queen sized beds. It was perfect for our group and reasonably priced. I will say the beds are a little springy but much better than staying in a tent. Overall our family wants to give 5 stars because it was beautiful. Better than camping, with friendly people. We felt safe and were able to experience nature at it's finest.

Such a find! This place is off the beaten path and we could not have been more thrilled with it. The cabins were clean and having our own kitchen, bbq and fire pit made for great family time amid social distancing restrictions. The owners were lovely and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. There were kayaks and canoes available on the premises and beauty of the Trinity River and Lewiston Lake were unparalleled. I brought three boys and a dog with us. We hiked, swam, kayaked, fished, river rafted and cliff jumped next to a waterfall. Does it get any better than that?!?! I ve been recommending it to everyone I see. Can not wait to go back!

Stayed recently and had the experience of a lifetime. The resort is located in a beautiful setting of lakes and mountains. The cabins were updated and clean. The new owners are courteous and available to answer any questions. The atmosphere was relaxing and looking forward to returning.

We had a wonderful family reunion and vacation here last week. Our cabin was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Our kids loved the amazing playground and had a blast at the pool. We had deer in our front yard every evening and morning! This is a perfect place for multi family get togethers because every family can have their own cabin or RV yet be close enough to spend lots of time together. We had no service wirh T Mobile, but those in our group with Verizon had some but we all loved being less connected to our phones and more to each other (plus they have free WiFi at the office for the occasional check in) New owners Ryan and Jordan have been making some great improvements and we highly recommend a visit!

The cabins are clean and the view of Lewiston lake is beautiful. We stayed for 2 nights and it snowed on the 2nd day and everything looked more beautiful. Totally recommend this place if you want to stay somewhere away from the crowd.

New owners, they are very nice and so helpful!! Deer walk through the resort, pool was very refreshing and the lake is very close for fishing and kayaking. Lots of rental units to choose from or bring an RV. Kids enjoyed the playground, "treehouse", horse shoes and swimming pool.

First time going camping here, & it was fun. If the smoke from all the fires wasn't in the area, I think it would have been a better 1st time experience for me. Hopefully 2021 will have no fires, because I'm sick of having smoke from fires for as far as the eyes can see. Especially since I was eventually diagnosed with Asthma in 2017.

There was a time that Lakeview Terrace was on a downhill slide, right after the original owners moved on and it was sold to some idiot who didn't have a clue about how to run a resort. Well that time is over. The new owners, Ryan and Jordan, are on a mission to bring it back to it's glory days and they are well on their way. We recently stayed in the RV park. It was very clean as were the showers, laundry and pool. We will be back!

We were lucky enough to get a last minute site. This place is beautiful, very well maintained. Everyone was so friendly. If you want to unhook from phones etc and enjoy quiet nature, here's a good casual location.
