It is a relief to know of the Swiss Garage and have your vehicle(s)serviced there.When you drop your car off for servicing, you don't have to worry because:The integrity of the Swiss Garage is widely known.The quality of the service is well established.The service will be completed in a timely manner.Any questions about the service are reliably addressed.The staff are consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous.The prices are reasonable (way lower than the fees at a dealership)I mean, you can trust the Swiss Garage to do a good job.

The first thing I look for when selecting a mechanic is cleanliness and orderliness. Swiss Garage is immaculate and well-organized. The people are friendly, competent, and punctual. They were ready for me when I arrived for my appointment, and the work was completed on time and as promised, I might add at about 1/3 the cost that the local dealer had quoted. All I can say is "Thanks for the great service!". I'll be going back. Recommended.

Everyone at Swiss Garage is great. I am so happy I don't go to the Marin MBZ dealer any more. Swiss Garage is a world of difference. I feel confident in Swiss Garage's diagnoses of my car's many issues, and they never try and convince me I need some random and unneeded repair. Plus, their prices are fair. They know what they are doing. I always recommend Swiss Garage to my friends.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes, Oil change

The fine folks at Swiss Garage were fantastic. They responded to my request for an appointment quickly, provided the services I needed, provided useful alerts to other potential issues, and were friendly and pleasant the entire time (on the phone and in person). Swiss Garage replaced a wheel bearing, had a new set of tires mounted & balanced, and checked my well-used car over for any potential lurking problems. They flushed the brake fluid but determined it is otherwise in decent shape. The first person you will meet when you call or visit the Swiss garage is Nancy Castellucci. Believe me, as the service rep, she is worth her weight in gold! She is as honest as the day is long! personable, professional and above all, she KNOWS cars! When you drive away you will have a feeling of confidence knowing you have had the best mechanics taking care of your vehicle. For dependable, proficient service call the folks at the Swiss garage! I am so glad I did!

For several years my 1973 Mercedes 280SE 4.5, which I've owned since 1995, had not been running well. I took it to one of the most popular Mercedes mechanics in Marin, spent a ton of money, and left with my car still running poorly. Given the reputation of this group, and given their sincere acknowledgement that they had no idea what was wrong with my car, I began thinking maybe it had run its course and was ready to retire. In a last ditch hope, I took it to Lars at Swiss Auto. Although Swiss Auto isn't inexpensive, they put the work in, and they fixed the car that couldn't be fixed. My Mercedes now runs like a dream--even better than when I bought it. It's such a joy to fall back in love with my car that I felt compelled to share my experience here. Good quality service. Downside was the car took an extra 48 hours to repair that projected, so I wish they had just given a longer estimate vs. a shorter one that they had to push back twice. They were communicative, however, on the delay and very professional.

The battery died at the gas station and we had it towed to Swiss Garage. I was so pleased to receive a call on MLK Day that they were open and addressing my needs. They replaced the battery, took my credit card over the phone and my son swung by and picked it up. Couldn't have been easier. Great people and quality work.

My audi a4 started leaking coolant and I was tired of going to the dealership and getting gouged on the price and having them take forever so I took it to swiss garage for the first time. They ended up needing to replace a thermostat and a water pump whch was fairly costly, but some of the existing parts were still ok so they didnt need to replace as much as quoted and the repair came out $200 less than they quoted me. The dealership definately would not have done me that courtesy. Addaitionally, Nancy and Lars were great to deal with. I will be going back and would recommend this shop to other european car owners as an alternative to the dealership.Service: General repairs & maintenance

They left my car in *worse* shape than when I took it in. Truly awful service. Maybe they are okay if you just need an oil change and some fluids topped off. That seems to be all they can do correctly. I took my Volvo sedan in for 3,000 mile service, and expected all systems of my car to be checked, and all issues to be repaired that day. A week after I took my car in, it began having issues accelerating. On my way to work one morning, my car nearly stalled on the Golden Gate Bridge. It almost stalled 3 more times that morning, and I had to get it towed. Turns out, my fuel pump and relay system needed to be replaced. I do not understand why this garage did not catch this major issue, or test drive my car to ensure it was driving well. When my mother called Swiss Garage to complain, Nancy was rude and defensive. No apologies for leaving me in an incredibly dangerous situation. They DO NOT care about your safety! Do not take your car here.

Where else can you stop by - without an appointment - ask a question, and have the owner drop what he's doing to look at your car and spend 10 minutes answering your question - in language you can understand - ?? These are the most ethical, non-BS BMW repair persons we have ever experienced. They do excellent work and they guarantee it. It's a shame they are not our doctors....October 21.....Once again, consistently excellent service for our cars. Lars even took the time to research a Palm Springs BMW mechanic for us for future servicing. This the best, most people-oriented place to have one's car serviced and maintained. We have had several bad experiences with the local BMW outfit - they even botched a recall repair - so it is great to have a no-stress experience when our cars need service. Peace of mind and quality work; what else could you ask for (besides pasta)?

My Honda was due for a service, and even despite the difficulties posed by COVID19, Swiss Auto was able to get to my car in a timely, safe manner. Every aspect of the transaction was handled with the best quarantine practices and, of course, as always, with friendly professionalism.

Swiss garage was superb at diagnosing the problem with my family Chevy. The dealer was unable to get the car running properly, Swiss Garage performed need repairs and now runs like new with 70,000 + miles on the clock. Thanks Swiss Garage.

You pay a bit more, but I've always had a good experience, also for my husband's car. When they say it will be ready, it's ready. They call before doing any work, explains what needs to be done, and price, which is pretty accurate at the end. I recommend checking them out.

I love the folks at Swiss Garage! Nancy is incredibly buttoned up and keep things running like clockwork! The mechanics are superb. With it's terrific location and precision operation, it's easy to get in and out and back on the road!

They were incapable and /or unwilling to do the necessary diagnostics to determine the cause of the problem. We gave a clear explanation of the symptoms. They returned the vehicle with no explanation of the problem or options for repair. The continuing issue caused a dangerous driving situation.They were unwilling to take responsibility for causing a dangerous situation due to their negligence and incompetence. Fortunately we found an exemplary car repair shop that immediately figured out the cause of the problem and did the necessary repair which is essential for safe driving.In fact, it was easy enough to enter the symptoms into a google search with results indicating the possibility of the cause. Proceed with caution if you choose to take your vehicle to this business.

Had very complicated problem on a 2000 BMW 740iL. Diagnosed and fixed. Price is very competitive and skill level way higher than any authorized shop I have ever dealt with. I wholeheartedly recommend the Swiss Garage.

Beware that Swiss Garage charges for basic diagnostics and estimating that most garages do for free. Be sure to ask exactly what you will be charged and what services you will receive.We called Swiss Garage because of a check engine light related to the torque converter. Another garage had read the code (for free) but couldn't do the transmission work. Nancy at Swiss Garage told us they needed to "verify the code". We ended up being charged $70 just to have Swiss Garage read the code for us again. We expected someone to at least look at the problem. When we disputed the charge we were told "that's what it means to verify."
