My family of 3 stayed here this past weekend. We had an amazing time. The location is perfect and the amenities offered were even better. We have a wild toddler and typically feel worried about taking him places. This resort offered soo many child and family friendly activities and the staff was very understanding. We felt right at home and will definitely be back soon.

A nice hotel (formerly Marriott) and spa which could easily be nicer. Front desk employees don't wear uniforms, and the hotel displays movies downstairs in a small crowded room. It seems to be rebranding itself as family focused, but has online ads for different genres. Rooms are also a bit pricey for what you get, and you have to book 2-3 nights all together. A few small changes, which would cost very little, would raise the perceived value to guests.Nearby activities: Arrowhead Village is within walking distance and has numerous restaurants and bars.Food & drinks: Bin 189, located in the hotel, is very nice.

Lia the lady at the front desk was fantastic. Happy and bubbly and welcoming and gave us some great ideas for places to go nearby. The lobby of the hotel looks a lot nicer than what the hotel looks like from the outside. We enjoyed our stay here.

My family and I recently spent a delightful weekend at Lake Arrowhead Resort, and despite a few initial challenges, our overall experience was fantastic. From the get-go, there were some system issues resulting in a double charge, but the gracious and welcoming concierge at the front desk handled the situation with warmth and understanding. I assured her that these glitches were out of her control, and her professionalism and kindness were truly appreciated.Once settled, the resort and its surrounding area provided us with an incredible time. The ambiance was serene, the amenities were top-notch, and the scenic beauty of the surrounding area was simply breathtaking. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time there, making cherished memories that will last a lifetime.Kudos to the staff for turning what could have been a rough start into a remarkable and unforgettable weekend getaway.

Came to Hilton resort and spa with family for New Years . Upon entering the hotel you are greeted with beautiful fireplace , Christmas Tree and lights. We spent money on reserving a room with a view. The view was obstructed by trees which maybe was to be expected or perhaps the location of the room on the 1st floor was the issue.Nothing in our hotel room was updated from the TV to the old cigarette burned carpet to the prison sheets and do cover on the comforters. The bathroom was basic and looked clean for the most part.Your room doesn t get automatically cleaned daily( there are no door holders asking for service only if you don t wish to be bothered)In the evening you hear loudly and clearly the people above us walking as if they are moving bricks. In addition to the thin walls you have kids running up and down the hallways at all hours of the night. The hallways on the first floor are loud and offer no insulation from the noises from kids or adults coming in late. The food was par. Nothing special and not allot of options. Prices are in line with other restaurants in the area.At the end of the day the location of the hotel is the ONLY reason to stay here.I m disappointed in how much money we spent on supposed resort . It is not this I would liken this place to a motel 6 .Save your money and search for an Air BNB instead.

I just recommend never to come to Arrowhead in general. The community is rude. You can t use the lake unless you are friends with one of the elites that own property there. The hotel was trash. The staff was trash. The room was trash. The pool was trash. We had the jacuzzi in front of our room so no privacy and loud drunks all night. You ll honestly have more fun pouring hot sauce in your eyes.

Such a shame what this resort (if that's what it should be called anymore) has become. My family vacationed annually for the past 7 years and it seems like there were no repairs made since then. There are leaks in the great room and the carpet was soaked as we watched the continuous dripping onto the floor, the rooms have peeling walls, loose bathroom fixtures, and stains in the carpet. The restaurant hours have been reduced (hopefully they finally updated this on their website). The front desk staff was unfriendly and made me feel like I annoyed her when I asked if it was possible to check in early and just stated that check-in was in an hour ( we were there 1 hour early and the lobby was empty). Save yourself the experience of coming to a dilapidated building (possible mold situation) with unpleasant front desk staff. No comment on the spa.....it was closed.

Great time here, restaurant was great, service by staff (thank you rocky and Michelle) was stellar, village is literally a 3 min walk, super cute decor in December. We will be bk with the rest of the fam. The suite is totally worth of the price, especially if you plan on using the sofa bed but overall the staff and service here was incomparable and you dont really get that in CA anymore.Nearby activities: Santa's village, Stater Bros, pharmacies, all in walking distance.

An absolutely wonderful mountain hotel resort & spa, very beautiful architecture reminiscent of swedish ski chalets, with lots of warm woods and an extremely spacious main lobby decorated very nicely, and a wonderful bar! Staff was very nice and accommodating! And the views of the lake and trees was so picturesque. Quick note, currently no bellhops, so just keep that in mind if you don't travel light.

Horrible. Our trip was ruined! This was our 3rd trip to Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. Every 2 years we do a family reunion. We ve always had an amazing time!!!!This year was ruined by EMILY! Yes, Ms. Emily is the Head Bully of the front desk!My husband has MS and is permanently in a wheelchair. We have traveled with a Certified Service Animal for 20+ years and have never encountered such rude treatment!Emily wanted to know what service he provides? Which no one has ever asked us before. In fact, no one has ever questioned the situation. I was so caught off guard for a perfect answer. The Certificate says Multiple Sclerosis, under Service . Isn t that enough?? I replied he s a therapy dog. I even showed her his credentials. She called no way on that. Still not good enough! She wanted that $150 deposit apparently so badly that calling out, embarrassing and harassing a disabled person and his family, in front of others for what? .supposedly trying to sneak a dog in, was no problem for her!!!Ms. Emily, for your sake, I hope in the future you do not become disabled. I wouldn t wish it on my worst enemy. It affects all aspects of your life. Day to day life is one hardship after another. I can tell you traveling is one of the hardest and most stressful! But worse is a rude, insensitive person at the end of your road! Especially in a place you are excited to be going for some rest and relaxation!Maybe you should educate yourself a little bit more on the necessity of Therapy Dogs. Comfort animals are no joke for people suffering from many disabilities. The Veterans of this country travel with therapy dogs that assist in PTSD. Which is a very real affliction.I will be reporting you to the ADA!Good day!

We wanted to love this place but big disappointment. A few things are great - location, foyer, fireplace, the restaraunt looked nice, pool, views . but then many things were off.Our room was disappointing. A lodge feel is fine but the lampshade was damaged and could easily be replaced for $20. The carpet was stained and disgusting. But the worst of all issues were kids running up and down the halls after 9pm and noise. Kids running around like that (not just movement in rooms- we were on top floor), is definitely a parenting issue #1, however it is a management issue #2. Completely unacceptable and if parents won t address it management needs to go to the parents and throw them out if need be. How many families are on a floor?! Throw one family out for 20 other families peace! Second major issue was a perpetual water running aound. Literally from 10pm - 6am we had what sounded like someone turning on and off the water. Thought it was faucet and figured it may have been a toilet running . It would come on for 1 minute and off for 5 mon. Repeat!! Husband tried our toilet jiggling handle and checking flap. No resolution. So bad after zero sleep at 2 am I called the front desk. No engineer around but they said they would send security to check it out . This also is unacceptable. To be a resort how do you not have an engineer on hand to address something?! Second, this is a maintenance issue and plumbing is obviously not well maintained!!Other minor issues, the shower faucet did not spray fully and instead I got a half shower half bath! The heater inside was nice but honestly quite blasting and a bit much when you are speaking to front desk. The game room also needs a few arcade games. And the cost for their convenience items like soda and candy are over the top. $4.50 for a Coke 20oz and $4 for a Candybar.Sadly our child also got very sick so after just 3 hours of sleep I woke up and called for a late checkout. They were able to accomodate by 30 min after I told them our kid was very sick and we had lots of noise issues. Pretty sad if you ask me!We paid $288 for a room without a view. I d be furious if we had paid $375. So all in all Ok given price. We will try it again but DO NOT have HIGH expectations for this place!!! Our first time visiting and very disappointing. This place could be amazing but it isn t. Management needs to turn it around. Put money in fixing things and manage the place!

We had a great time here, athough they didn't have kayaks available to rent like their website said. The room wasn't spacious but it was clean and updated with a mini fridge and great view of the lake. The beach was fun to swim at. The pool and hot tub were very crowded, so maybe a little small for the place. It is walkable to many great places to eat and see. Hope to come back and be able to have a 5 star experience!

I was really disappointed with the customer service I received from the front counter clerk Lia. Our family was tired from a long trip and Lia was not personable and messed up on our room assignment 3 times causing me to walk from the wrong room 3 times because my room key did not work. On top of that I asked for Pillows and sheets while she was working and they were never delivered to the room. The room had dust on the ceilings and the TV in the suite was not connected to the internet to order movies for my family. The next day the service was better but when it matter Lia failed. Really disappointed because I talked up the Resort to my family and it was embarrassing for me.

I had my wedding here and although the wedding went well the experience going into the wedding was not great, especially from the front desk and sales staff.First of all the hotel doesn't let you book in person so don't expect them to help when you arrive. I had tried to reserve a room for my parents for the wedding day and they told me they couldn't help and I had to go online even though I was there in person. We booked our wedding 8 months in advance and received a call 3 days before our wedding saying they did not book our wedding suite. On top of that, they over charged us $3700 which was not even recognized until I reviewed all of the documents and noticed the delta the day before the wedding. The only reason our wedding went well was because Darrel (the day of coordinator) did an excellent job in getting these issues fixed even though he wasn't the one who made these errors. The absolute cherry on top was the rude blonde front desk manager. My husband and I had a Christian wedding and used a wooden cross for our ceremony. The next morning when we went to pick it up, the front desk worker and another worker were trying to move the cross. We mentioned to them not to worry that we were there to take it home and she said, "okay good because people don't want to see that." Absolutely unbelievable! If this were any other religious arch I'm sure she wouldn't have said anything. This definitely left a bad impression and I will not be encouraging anyone to be stay here in the future.

We toured Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa for our wedding and absolutely loved the grounds and staff. Laurie took such great care of us and took the time to answer all of our questions and show us several options of what our special day could look like. Everyone we encountered from the restaurant, coffee shop, front desk, and the wedding team were fantastic! They make you feel like you are important and are take the time to get to know you rather than just another couple coming through the door. I greatly appreciated their hospitality. Not to mention their food was so scrumptious! If you are looking for a venue to get married, highly recommend you give this resort a chance. The views from the ceremony location are incredible and there are so many amazing photo opportunities throughout the property. If you are looking for class, beauty, and a great time, Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is the place to be!

We came here for my brother's wedding, and it was also my birthday weekend. My husband called ahead, and we ended up with a wonderful view of the beach / lake. The bedroom was clean, the patio was awesome (we spent most of our time on it, if we were in the room.) The staff was accommodating with our request for a safe for our bedroom. The only complaint was the housekeeping never came to our room from Thursday-Monday. I had to call the front desk to get new towels. The reception was held at the resort, and it had amazing views of the lake.

Walls and floor so thin you can hear everything going on around you. Views of the lake from the rooms are nice but not able to get a good night's sleep.Rooms: Thin walls and floor/ceilings can hear everything from there rooms. Foot steps from room above are loud enough to wake you.Walkability: Next to arrowhead village just a few minutes walk.

My wife and I stayed here the night of our wedding and the following night. We paid $1600 for the Lakeside Presidential Suite with Balcony for two nights, a Sunday and Monday. Check-in process was fine and staff was friendly. The room, however, was completely underwhelming. The locking mechanism on the entry door into the room was damaged and required to be slammed shut every time we entered or left the room. Immediately upon entering the room I attempted to utilize the thermostat, which fell off the wall and was no longer functioning. I made several attempts to reattach and reboot but was unable to do so. Being it was my wedding night, I opted out of contacting maintenance and accepted that climate control was no longer an option. The room was clean but outdated and lacked attention to detail. The fire place was likely out of code as the actuator switch was not secured in place and simply rested loosely on the exterior of the fireplace. The bed was sized as advertised but felt well beyond its life expectancy and was quite uncomfortable. We were looking forward to relaxing and staying in so we attempted to utilize the tv and were looking to rent a movie. The television interface was completely antiquated and mostly out of service. When a technician was called to our room we were informed that "it's just a terrible system" and cannot be fixed. We were unable to rent any movies, access a simple tv guide, or get most of the channels in HD. In such a beautiful location, I agree that the television is less than important but under these circumstances the lackluster performance of such was a huge let down. The service of the hotel was also quite underwhelming. We had a dessert and beverage paid for and ordered for us by family members the night of our wedding. The staff assured them that it would be delivered. Despite several calls from our family member that night, the dessert was never delivered. Several more calls the following day and the dessert was finally randomly delivered our last night. The restaurant is adequate and offers a decent array of food and drink. We were informed, however, that room service is not a service they provide. The restaurant is closer to the elevators than the front desk yet they don't offer to bring the grossly overpriced food to your room. I have yet to stay in a hospitality establishment with in-house dining that does not offer room service.Overall, the location of the hotel is fantastic. It is close to the village and offers lakefront property and great outdoor experiences. But so do MANY other establishments in this area. For $1600 I cannot possibly imagine a greater disappointment. If you are headed to Lake Arrowhead I would highly suggest you look into one of the many other options for lodging or I fear you will also be greatly disappointed staying here.

The resort is in dire need of a renovation with wallpaper peeling, torn carpets, chipped paint, just plain old and outdated. The pool, spa, and beach areas are wonderful. The setting itself is beautiful, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I would return. It's worth the price.Walkability: Right next to Arrowhead Village

Our room was not ready at 4pm but they did give us access to the pool, spa and beach. It's actually pretty decent for the price... pool was kind of dirty but it was a busy weekend... our lake view room did not have a very good view of the lake but all in all it was a good experience. ... probably one of the better places to stay at Lake Arrohead.Walkability: Walking distance to the village and brewery.
