I took my 2017 Honda Civic to CarStar to repair and paint my hood, roof, and trunk. Alfonso was so easy to work with and did a fantastic job painting my car. They provided a free car rental and when they were finished, my car looked brand new inside and out. They did an amazing job. I have referred them to all of my family and friends.

Carstar rocks! I took my GMC Terraintgere after getting hit from behind and Mike was awesome He let me know everything that was needing to be done and kept me updated on the process Key for me is staying in communication while my car is in any shop for repairs and Mike & the crew were spot on with that.. The repairs were completed on the timeline I was given which was a huge plus! My car is pretty & shiny again.. Thanks to the crew at Carstar La Habra for a great job!

It s never easy to find out that the car has been in an accident, but just knowing that CarStar has always been there for us & ontinues to be there for us whenever we have a slight scratch or a dent, or needing to fix a huge issue like this time. Big thanks to Mike for truly being the best, not only did he reach reassure us everything would be OK but I loved the constant communication he gave, literally a play by play on what Was was happening with the car!!! thank you for putting the car back together and better than it was the first time we truly appreciate car star and mike. Also, please give A big huge thank you to the front desk. She was so kind and sweet when she saw us the first day we brought the car and how stressed my daughter was.

I want to give props to the general manager Mike for being a gentleman and being very understanding of my concerns regarding a warranty concern I had with a paint job. He was extremely helpful in educating me on the cause of the issue as well as providing excellent customer service. He was able to relate me and I respect him for being able to turn a negative situation into a positive. I definitely recommend him and his team of experts for any paint/mechanical job. Mike if you re reading this, sorry for coming at you the wrong way. You were extremely helpful and understanding with me.

The communication was great, and even though it took a few extra days, they let me know each day about the progress. I m mostly giving a high review to also say thank you - I got there right at 5:00pm with my one-year-old (I m also 8 months pregnant) and was so afraid they wouldn t let me pick up my car, but they helped me and worked with me! I m so grateful! It s so nice when a business sees you as a person!

CARSTAR is a top notch repair facility. The staff is friendly, courteous and their communication is excellent! I was kept up to date on the repairs and costs even though it was an insurance claim. They explain things and answer questions. They even assisted with contacting the rental company while my car was being fixed. They go above and beyond; my car was also washed before pick up! A very honest business! I would recommend everyone use CARSTAR for any and all repairs of their vehicle!!!

Brought my wife's car to CARSTAR after a small fender bender, starting with Dennis he was very helpful and got me set up quickly to bring my car in and get me a rental. Tito was quick with my paperwork and went over everything with me and answered any questions I had. While my car was in shop Brian was always in touch with me and giving me great updates. And my car was ready by the date given with no delays! Highly recommend!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

This is my second time leaving my vehicle in the hands of Car Star in La Habra and I absolutely love them. All the Customer Service Reps have been very helpful and amazing. Thanks to Brian, Rocio and Brianna! They were always calling me to follow up on updates on my car! Absolutely amazing. The only car shop I trust to be honest!

Following an accident, I entrusted CARSTAR with the repair of my vehicle. I was given assurances by an employee that the repairs and gaps were up to industry and manufacturer standards.However, this was not the case. Over several months, I observed various problems with the repairs, such as increasingly visible gaps, fading paint, and paint that did not match the rest of the vehicle. It transpired that the employee who had made these assurances was no longer employed by CARSTAR and had misled me.Multiple acquaintances in the automotive industry informed me that my car had not been correctly repaired or painted. In the aftermath of another minor accident, I attempted to take my vehicle to a different shop. However, due to the substandard quality of the work carried out by CARSTAR, the new shop declined to work on my car, explaining that the car would have to be returned to the original repair shop due to the poor quality of the paintwork and repairs.Mark, an employee of the shop, was unhelpful and dismissive, and when I pointed out that pearl color vehicles require blending in a particular way, he responded condescendingly and rudely. While it is true that a normal paint color might not require such attention, the shop should not have dismissed my concerns and implied that it was not their responsibility to correct their shoddy work.CARSTAR is a participant in the guaranteed repair program, which means that they should have minimal contact with me, and their primary responsibility is to communicate directly with my insurance company. However, I have had to communicate with the shop multiple times, as they never meet the expected delivery dates and have demonstrated poor time management skills. Mark, in particular, seemed to enjoy belittling me and deflecting blame, rather than accepting responsibility for the subpar work on my car. He went so far as to criticize my travel plans while my car was being repaired and attempted to guilt me into accepting a flawed repair job. His attitude was incredibly insulting and unprofessional.I returned to CARSTAR multiple times to express my concerns, and the shop assured me that they would address the issues I raised. However, it was not until the end of 2022 that I received my car back, after numerous delays and excuses. Even then, CARSTAR failed to meet industry and manufacturer standards, despite receiving detailed information from me about the necessary repairs. The general and regional managers approved the car's return to me, but the issues persisted.Throughout this process, CARSTAR consistently blamed my insurance company for the problems and refused to accept responsibility. Only after I contacted my insurance company and they demanded that CARSTAR rectify the situation did any progress occur.Due to the inconveniences, constant headaches, and wasted time that I endured as a result of CARSTAR's poor workmanship, I have requested a refund of $3,000 that were spent on deductibles. Despite waiting for months, I have not received any communication from CARSTAR and the complaint that I originally filed with the Bureau of Automotive Repair is now being escalated since this shop has repeatedly ignored the state s request for information. I hope that this matter can be resolved amicably and quickly to avoid any further complications.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I m the kind of person who will keep trying different places until I find one I like. This is my first accident where I ve needed a body shop and my wife suggested CarStar. So I m done. Anytime I ever need body work I m coming here. My car was particularly tuff to fix because all the parts needed would have to be ordered one here one there so at the end we had a two inch stack of invoices. All I can Say is Sean is awesome he stayed on top of it and didn t quit till he had found every part and had my SUV back to brand new again. And here I am like two weeks later sitting in the parking lot cause some stupid sensor on my tire needs to be reset and my ac need to be charged and Sean jumped on it again. Oh and I just showed up, no phone call or appointment.

A tire hit my bumper on a freeway destroying radiator, condenser and lots of plastic. Took my car to Carstar, Stephanie was very helpful. They fix it all in a week! Amazon doesn t operate that fast lol . Honestly I thought i ll have to use rental for a month. BTW I dropped my Enterprise rental right at the Carstar. Stephanie kept me updated via texts and left voicemails due to my work schedule. They even washed my black beast inside and out with a tire shine. Extremely satisfied, thank you guys!

This was my first time coming to the la Habra location to fix a bumper scratch and my vendor , the outcome was great my car looks good as new! and all I can say is they were all so kind and have great communication skills . Everyone is very friendly , the service was quick which was a plus. Huy at the front desk was very nice and kept me informed via email and was quick to respond to any questions I had . I will definitely be coming to this location the next time my car needs service doneService: Painting

I took my dodge to car star for some body work and after looking at other shops and reading some reviews I decided to take my car here. At first I was kinda nervous only because i read reviews on other shops about not being on time and bad work. When I got to car star they were fast, friendly, and made sure you understood the process. They told me it would take two weeks to get my car fixed, they would send me text message of the progress on my car and a breakdown of the parts, labor, etc. I loved that! They were on time and the work was great!! If anyone needs work on their car come to car star, they are amazing! Thank you guys for the amazing work!! I m one very happy customer.
