It's a really nice place for camping, it has restrooms, showers, day picnic area, boat launch ramp. The owner is really nice, I got lost and ended up in this place at 3am without reservation. The owner just left a note on my car without disturbing me at all to pay. But due to severe weather warning I decided to leave at 8pm and there was no one at check out. I slid the note under the door with my number on it.Plz contact me so I can arrange the payment for the night we stayed. Will come back for sureRestrooms: More than enough restrooms at thus place

I can't tell you how much I love Lake Don Pedro Moccasin Point... Lovely people at the shack and the water is DIVINE! It's sometimes a bit windy but it's a body of water so it's expected. So many awesome little coves for floating. This place is one of my most happiest place to be.

This is a great campground for a couple or small family. Water is nice. Views are great. So why 2 stars? Well, first it s a tad more expensive than new melones. Not a big deal until we get to the gate and find boat launch fee isn t included, like it is at most other sites, and there s a $10/day dog fee. Two dogs meant we paid about $150 for two nights of camping! These fees were not shown when booking the site. Your site will have room for ONE tent and one car so you better be close with the up to 6 people per site. Despite having the boat ramp on the grounds it didn t look like any camp site had a driveway that would fit a trailer until you get to the dirt road sections and those aren t exactly fun to drive a trailer on. Shower has a 4 partition so anyone walking into the bathroom will look at you. Same with the stalls, and they don t lock. They were clean though.

I did not stay here i rented my travel trailer and deliverd it to my customer at this location. I was very pleased with how clean and quiet this camp site was. The park Ranger was very helpful and nice to tell me where to drop the trailer at due to the fact that it was my first time being there. I liked it so much I made a reservation to bring my family for spring break. (A-12) This site has full hook ups.

Checked in at 6ish PM on Sun Aug 18th 2019 and check out 20 min later with a full refund. Completely disguised at the lack of cleanliness of the grounds and campsite we were given. The lady at the front gate didnt seem bothered or apathetic of the situation. What really t'd me off was she didnt seem surprised and offer an excuse of a busy weekend. It's so sad to see our land and waters ruined by people that dont care and park staff with even less morals to not hold people accountable.

Me and my family come every year, super chill and friendly park staff and for the most part I would consider moccasin point the more chill side/family side

Excellent camping location particularly in Spring when lake is full and the grass is green. Caution regarding making reservations sight unseen since some RV sites (no hook ups) are on the hillside loop with interesting parking challenges. This is an excellent base camp location for exploring Yosemite in the Winter since this location is well below the snow lines.

The campground itself is .ok. I prefer being next to the water but if you bring a boat this is definitely the best side of the lake! Water is so warm and there are so many coves with smooth water for swimming or skiing. Water is very low this year so be mindful of hazards that may not be marked or very long walks to the waters edge. And please for the love of all gods, be a responsible boater and observe all laws. Share the boat ramp and help your fellow campers and boaters.

Definitely one of the nicest campgrounds at which I've stayed. Reasonably priced and quiet. Lots of space between sites and fully wooded.

Perfect for Spring/Fall camping. Wouldnt go in summer unless I had a boat as this is a low elevation campground/lake. We stayed at site B2. Widest campground pad I have ever seen. 20 Ft wide. Easily fit an RV and 2 cars with plenty of space to spare. The reason I gave it a 3 is cost. Only 1 vehicle allowed in space with campground fee. Extra vehicles are charged by the day. $20 per car per day. Pets are $10 per day per pet. We paid an extra $180 for 2 pets for 3 days. Ridiculous

Nice, clean, newly paved. Very outdoorsy not like a parking lot.

The electrical sites are very hilly and small. There might be one or two that are worth renting. We would stay in a dry camp area if we went again they are larger sites. We do like the picnic area by the boat ramp when the water is up. Fun place to spend the day or launch kayaks. Price is fair for sites.

Well maintained, spacious campground. The lake is beautiful and temperate. The rangers and other staff were very nice and welcoming. We went during the week and it was very quiet, especially for a lake/summer situation, but it was definitely getting busy around Friday afternoon. We were in a full hookup spot which was a little on the narrow side for our camper/large van so that was definitely a challenge to navigate. My only recommendation is, this campsite during the summer is ridiculously hot if you aren't going out on the water and as there isn't much else to do besides water sports, consider the heat. Even the campsites with good tree coverage are hotter than the devil's farts. All in all I definitely recommend this camp.

1st time camping here. I enjoyed the space between sites, I suggest you choose your spot wisely. Several very slopped spots, saw a few folks struggling to park their tow rigs. Lake is in walking distance but suggest a vehicle. We will be back.

Nice campsites close to the marina and boat launch. It's typically pretty quiet and rules are well endorsed by friendly rangers. Great for young kids because the water by the campsites is all a no wake zone and there are several"beaches" that are shallow enough for the kids to splash around in without worry of the water being too deep (recommend keeping life jackets on young ones anyway).

Good location but lots of loud parties. Tough for kids to sleep when there are loud karaoke past 9:30

Very nice RV Parking! Clean, nice padded, paved. Great place to launch boats and spend a day out on the water. Only thing is, they do not allow dogs, but I have spotted many near the boat launch..

Nice clean, quiet campgrounds for rv's or tent camping. Lots of awesome hiking trails, plenty of fishing opportunities, with a boat ramp easily accessible for launching your boat. There's a picnic area with plenty of trees, a beautiful view of the lake which is just a stone's throw away for swimming and fishing in and free WiFi. There is a marina with a small store that has snacks and drinks along with a fueling station for boats, and houseboats. A little pricey, but worth every penny. Go and enjoy.

Most of the rv camp sites are so sloped that any unit longer than 24-25 feet wil be almost impossible to level. We spent 6 nights with a 38' 5th wheel which was impossible to level in a safe manner. We never saw any administrative people while there, though to be honest, it was over Veteran's Day weekend. Otherwise, campground was quiet and peaceful.

Nice campground on Lake Don Pedro. It was not busy and friendly. Walking distance to the lake and very kayak friendly. Power boats are limited to 5mph on this section of the lake. We had a great time here.

Never found anyone in the office, so we put cash in an envelope on the windshield wiper of the truck. Well $20.00 wasn't enough to cover a tent over night! I was blown away at the outrageous prices they were charging. Over night in a tent $22.00 could not believe it. They got a good racquet going. Owned it before it hits the ground they charge you to go fishing it. And you got to buy a fishing license then they charge you to camp at it then they sell it to you as drinking water. Then they charge you for it to go down your drains and they reclaim it and sell it to somebody else to water their fields I'd sure like to know how much that money they make off all that water

Park staff does a good job here. Always clean, secure, and riff-raff free. Launch ramp is fine- we launched our 22ft wake boat with our 33ft motorhome no problem.

None of the Camp sites were level. Each campsite was barely wide enough for the trailer and the stairs were hanging over where it was not level so you had to climb into stairs to get in and out. HORRIBLE

Environment is a great get away. They don't restock their lake with trout annually.

Most campsites have partial shade depending on time of day. Some have mostly shady areas. No shade at shoreline. Very friendly staff. If you don't like crowds, go Sunday thru Thursday.
