The Cher ere Campground has been revitalized after its new manager Eric has taken over. The lawn is well maintained and there is space for tons of campers and their family. The new cabin has been renovated nicely and is comparable with many of the nice hotels you could find along the coast with the addition of a great kitchen and washer and dryer! In addition there are septic, water, 30amp and 50amp hookups for all of the RV sites. The tent sites are more primitive only offering picnic tables and fire pits.

Beautiful campground and RV park! Very well maintained, clean, lots of space, large sites, full hook-ups, picnic tables, fire pits, large grass area and Ramada. Restrooms with showers. Cabins to rent, tent sites too. Very close to the beautiful Redwood National and State park and the ocean is a short drive. Highly recommend. Quiet and peaceful!

We just left Cher're, after 4 days. We arrived to see the campground all but empty. Camp host, Andrea, shared that the camp recently reopened and hasn't gotten a lot of reservations yet. The grounds were nicely managed, bathrooms immaculate (with clean mirrors, showers, and commodes), and no garbage anywhere. Easy walking path down to the river for fiahing/swimming (although some weeds flank the water edge). Stores within 2 miles made last minute shopping easy. 4 miles south of Trees of Mystery, 10 miles south of Crescent City. Andrea was very helpful, checking on us daily. We were sas to go, but plan on visiting again sometime.

One of the best campgrounds in the area, surprised it wasn't full. They got good wifi and nice bathrooms/shower. Very quiet as well. I'd recommend they get some shelves and hooks for the shower as it's difficult to place your clothes and toiletry somewhere while taking a shower.

This RV park has a lot going for it. It was almost empty, so there was no crowding. The sites are very long and can accommodate any size rig. We re on T-Mobile and had no service, the wifi worked great and allowed me to work as needed. The location of this park to the Redwoods is fantastic. It s very quiet and peaceful. The morning we were leaving the water to the whole park stopped working, making it difficult to do some of the tear down we normally do. The biggest improvement that we would recommend is gavel or paving the sights. Setting up in the grass, in the rain made for soaking wet shoes and feet and made a not so pleasant set up just down right miserable. My husband also ended up with soaking feet tearing down because the grass was so wet. It was also difficult to keep our RV clean because the grass was just cut.

We stayed here for 6 days and we loved it. Our campsite was amazing, it was by the Cherry Trees. We had lots of shades and fresh air. We saw multiple bear poops. But the whole time we stayed there, we didn t see any. The campground & RV park is well maintained. They have tent & full hook ups. We saw most of the RV Park around the area and some of them it s either too congested or very sketchy. This place, we felt safe and there s a huge space between trailers. It is huge and long space, if you have multiple cars it will fit in front of your trailer. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE A LOT! Just a recommendation for this place. I wish they would open the window in the women s bathroom by the sink, to air things out. Thank you SO much. We will certainly come back.

Awesome place. But the host Eric was even better!!!We pulled in for a one night stop on our way home to SoCal. Reservations online were extremely easy. When we checked in, there was only one other camper (Monday) and the place was clean, spacious and green everywhere. As we started to set up our trailer, Eric the camp host noticed our trailer lights weren t working and came to let us know. We discovered the middle of our 7-pin cord came loose and got shredded as we dragged it down the 101 Fwy! Eric looked it over and said not to worry and he would fix it for tomorrow morning. He told us to go check out the redwoods the next morning and when we get back the cord would be repaired. We did just that and came back at noon to find Eric had repaired the cord and secured it so it couldn t come loose again. He saved our butts that day and we got home safely. I can t say enough good things about Eric. A marine, a mechanic and a life saver. To the owners of Cher ere Give this man a raise or bonus. You ve got a great guy working for you.

It s unfortunate we couldn t go here on Labor day weekend due to a wildfire. I tried to cancel by call before the reservation date, but I couldn t due to phone lines down in the area. The owner was understanding and quickly made me a refund today. This location was perfect for my trip plan so I definitely want to stay this campground next time! Excellent customer service:)

I don't know why this rv campground isn't more occupied? Lots of space with full hook-ups near Redwood National Park.

Bare bones campground. Only one mens shower for 40+ campsites. It is super close to Redwoods Nat Park. It was sufficient, but next time I'll try another campground in the area with better amenities.

This campground is peaceful and quiet and a good place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The entire campground is clean and well maintained. There is river access, fruit trees and it s a bird watcher s paradise. Each rv and tent site has a private picnic table and fire pit. There is also a covered pavilion for group picnics and barbecues. The prices are very reasonable and the hosts are friendly and accommodating.

This was a wonderful camp. We were lucky to have the manager relocate us when he saw we were not in the best spot. Great customer service! Beautiful location too!

I unfortunately had to cancel a multi day reservation last minute due to road closures for fires. Management was understanding and quick to issue a refund - sad to miss out on this campground, but grateful for excellent customer service

Absolutely our favorite place to camp! Stayed here for the first time this 4th of july and it was so nice. Bathrooms and showers are always clean the spots are very nice, green and very well maintained, we will be back next year to give our brothers and sisters of the Resighini Rancheria our business. Aho! The Maidu family from the valley.

Hubby and I had a very nice RV camping here. Insightfully planned for RVer's and tent camping. Spacious camp sites, nice clean bathrooms with showers; lots of pull through for RV's..... unfortunately the 2021 Camping Season is closed We returned to Sacramento on August 25, but plan on visiting next year
