If you don t pass- you don t pay. I wasn t sure what to expect being new to California. I brought both of my cars here. They both passed. Talking a Hollister resident- this is the only place he comes.So if you need to have your car smog tested- bring it here. It s all he does.

I chose this place because of how many good reviews he has and y all were spot on. The gentleman running this business is so kind, funny and knowledgeable. The owners of this business are extremely professional and more than anything, very honest. They will not charge you if your vehicle will not pass smog. They even give you suggestions as to how to help you pass. These guys are great!

This guy is great!! He charges $50 only if your vehicle passes the smog test. If it doesn't pass, he explains why it didn't pass, then he gave me a troubleshooting guide that tells exactly what steps to take before you have him test it again. Very friendly and fair business man. I highly recommend you to have your vehicle smog test done here at Hollister Smog on 4th Street across from the old Baha Burgers

It is best to have an appointment. He takes drive ups, but keeps his appointments times first. He is on time, fast, and fair.Don't pass, don't pay. I passed !

This is a one man operation. He's very efficient and knowledgeable. He talked pride in his work. I have been three the times and am very satisfied. You can just drive up but I recommend an appointment because he's usually very busy. If you call for an appointment first you won't have to wait which is helpful because the parking is very limited.In March 2018, the price was $50.00 for the test and certificate. He transmits the certificate electronically to the state and provides a paper certificate as well.

Get there early and be prepared to wait. The guy is fast but it's a one man show and he had a lot of customers.

They got us in no waiting, was quick to get the job done yet did it right. Very familiar with our model, and knew what needed to be done. Got the receipt, certification, and we we're on our way. Really didn't have time to find a seat and wait. Thank you for getting us in under the wire, even during the holidays.

My 2004 "failed", so I didn't pay! Then the amazing technician showed me my sensors were not calibrated, and how I could do it myself! It passed that day. The technician also took the time to point out a small coolant leak, showing me where the problem was. Defiantly going back here every time.

Awesome place super quick super easy super friendly super knowledgeable definitely the best place in town to get your smog done hassle-free I would definitely recommend this shop give it a go you will not regret it
