I went to Aamco in Hemet this week. Tom looked at my car and had the mechanic look at it for maybe two minutes. Then he went into the back room and came back saying someone he talked to on the phone said that Fiat does not sell after-market parts. He gave a few more excuses but by then I did not trust him anyway. He said it would be in my best interest to take the car to a dealership. I drove to the dealership in Temecula and checked my car with the service department. I spoke to the parts manager and yes, Fiat does sell parts for the cars they make. And yes, the dealership sells parts to local repair shops. What does that tell you about Aamco in Hemet?

These guys are awesome they fixed my problem with my transmission which was very simple something the dealership and other places couldn t figure out after 3 months of headaches. It took them a few hours to resolve.

I just went here today because i got a light engine on and he did the diagnostic for free compared to another place that wants to charge me 100 dollars, after that he found out that there was something wrong with electrical circuit on the transmission and ask me questions if i had a problem driving my car and i said no so he ended up just resetting it for the engine light to go off because sometimes its just a glitch on the system he said and if the engine light still comes back then thats where it needs to be fixed and didn t charge me at all..i m so impressed because if its other place for sure they would ve pretended to do something just to charge me and he was so patient explaining to me what is going on with my car i really appreciate this place and theres no where else i m going after this very nice experience from them..1000/10 i don t normally do reviews on places but this time this place deserves it..he is such a nice a guy..he is an older guy..im too bad with names and i feel bad not getting his name.

I highly recommend this place, I always feel like I m in good hands at AAMCO. David gave top notch customer service. Very patient at answering all my questions. I learned a lot about my vehicle from him

I really appreciate these gentlemen at AAMCO. First of all, they delivered my vehicle ready a day before it was due. Secondly, the diagnosis given to me by the dealership was that my transmission was done for(meanwhile they were trying to have me trade my vehicle in for a newer model). It turned out to be an electrical issue that connects to the throttle that was causing acceleration to glitch. Most shops just want to take your money and run. At AAMCO, they want your vehicle to run well. They definitely gained a customer.

I brought my suv here after it broke down and wouldn't go into gear. Larry could have easily just told me I needed a new transmission like the other mechanics told me, but instead was honest and charged me $275 and found my filter that wasn't attached when everyone else told me it was an automatic rebuild of the transmission which could have easily cost me upwards of $3500. Thank you Larry for your honesty and patience with me. I'll be bringing my suv back here for any work I need done from now on.

Great experience here! I saw that it was under new management and my car needed to get the oil replaced. I had it done here and they checked other things for free. I knew I needed to get my brakes redone and so they installed new ones for me. My car is working a lot better now!It used to have a problem accelerating and turning on the air conditioner at the same time and they fixed that for me too.You all should definitely check out this AAMCO. They're friendly and have speedy service. The manager even drove me home because I left my car there for a few days.

I believe our AAMCO has the best people working for them and their knowledge and professionalism as well as their genuine care and concern for you as a person makes them the best kinds of people. We wouldn't take our vehicles anywhere else, except for any auto mechanic work they may not perform. They also give great references. I our AAMCO!!!!!!!!!!!!Peace and Blessings

I had went to them for the first time and the service was great, I have no complaints. They serviced my vehicle and I was omw today I went back to get a follow up diagnostic to compare other companies findings and price quotes . They had no problem explaining to me what could be wrong and preformed inspection of my vehicle.

Another local shop wanted to put in a new transmission, and I was ready to pay for it but the owner of that shop wouldn t even call me back to get the ball rolling. So I decided to have our work van towed to Aamco, Larry wanted to hook it up to his computer to make sure it really needed a new transmission. After the codes were cleared it was fine, and they didn t even charge a fee for the work they put in. If you need a honest shop this is the place, I am completely blown away at the honesty of Larry.

I highly recommend this place, it's my go to shop in town. Tom and Larry are top notch customer orientated people. I've never had an issue with any of my vehicles. My BMW 750LI is always treated well

Took 2 weeks to Rebuild my transmission. Was promised no longer than 10 days and had to defer multiple jobs because of this.After getting my truck back, immediately had Check Engine Light on for something I had fixed 2k miles before.Transmission runs hotter than before but no issues so far with "Their" repair. Just got stuck 2500 miles away on a Sunday because of the CEL that popped up after they worked on it.

The diagnostic they did was not accurate my brake light still come on they did not solve that problem, but checking my sensors accuracy was okay old grey-haired man

The manager and the techs all know their stuff - helpful, honest and knowledgeable across the board!I brought my truck in with "weird engine/tranny noises" on a busy day - the Saturday before Easter. Within a few hours, they had the problem diagnosed and tested (it turns out it was NOT a tranny issue). Since the problem was just loose body panels, I was out the door with NO CHARGE!I would highly recommend this shop to anyone with car issues.

So I took my car to Aamco to get my transmission fixed. Their first quote was 3500 out the door but I told them that was crazy and I'd go somewhere else. Then they said they would take of a couple hundred and extend my warranty on it so I said ok because I needed to hurry up and get it fixed. They've now had my car for two weeks and are trying to say their charging me 3300 plus tax. That comes out to MORE then the original quote. I guess they believe I can't do math and they just make up the price as they go along. Never coming here again.

Aammco Transmission in hemet Help me from the time I walk into the office I was treated like family. Larry and Tom were very helpful with my car and did not Charge me any thing. Thank you so much I would very much recommend them to anyone to give them a try. 1'st time visiting the shop.

My sister had a new transmission installed. When the auto was returned, it mysteriously now needed motor mounts which were not broken BEFORE the transmission had been replaced. The mechanic stated that the car sat for a long time (2 months) and since it's old those things sometimes need replacing. NEVER going there again!!!

I called for a quote. He said "we don't on vehicles 1991 or older" and hung up. They obviously don't want buisness so i took my truck elsewhere

Told me my transmission needed a complete rebuild, costing $2000-$3000+ to be done by them. I decided to take my car to another mechanic in town and it was just a $30 part that needed repaired. Got my car up and running within 24 hours with a tiny electrical part...after SCAAMCO said it was FOR SURE not electrical and needed a new transmission. Total bull! They are just trying to get your money, DO NOT take your car here.

Was there Friday. The Owner or Manager Tom Reeves told me to come this week. Just went to Aamco for an oil change. Tom told me that's better for me to have service at another place.Rude guy! Who he thinks he is, King Tom?Will call the AAMCO Corporate!

horrible. had a test ran on my car and they said they could tell me if it was mechanical or electrical. after some time they returned and told me it was absolutely mechanical. i asked if it could be anything else, they replied with no it has to be replaced or rebuilt. turns out it was a 30$ plug that was wrong with the car. thats electrical. other mechanics told me it was electric. never again will my car ever come through this brand

After reading the previous reviews, I took a 1990's Miata there to get the air conditioning system operable. I just bought the car, it was in dreadful shape and needed a lot of work. They said that the ac system was beyond repair and a conversion kit to modernize it would have to be installed. The cost quoted was just above $1200.00. They also recommended a finance company they've dealt with in the past. By chance a few days later I happened on another shop specializing in air conditioning systems called Hemet Auto Air Conditioning. They serviced and charged my "beyond repair" A/C system for $126.00. That was almost a year ago and it still works great. I can't explain why AMMCO was so off on their assessment, but I'm not going back there again.

Apparently not concerned about repairs under warranty. My truck has been involved with them over a week without any action. Either they can't or won't fix another shop's work. Extremely dissatisfied.

The staff was very helpful and informative, with educating me in my vehicle transmission and the best product recommend. Was pleased with the service and will be back for another service

My camry was broke down in San Jacinto. Thomas towed it in for free!! I was sure it was a transmission because another shop had told me it was and would cost me $2500. The guys at Aamco fixed it for $175. Car is running great. Will always bring my car here first.

I thought I needed a transmission because the symbol that came up in my car said that my powertrain was failing instead I needed a battery and that's what Larry told me I needed a battery not a transmission a man named Jeff Wells told me to go there he said he trust them I am grateful to all who helped me that's five stars all day long with me blessings aamco.

The guy never called back after my conversations with him on the phone regarding my MZ 1998 SLK230 transmission, he even said he would shop it for for rebuild transmission.
