This review is long overdue. Last year I had my interior cleaned here at American Upholstery twice, not because it was that dirty. The first time was excellent work, got the interior cleaned back to factory. I just had to return shortly after an inconsiderate idiot spilled a drink, but they were able to clean it all again. Manny is very honest and friendly and was straight up with answering all my questions. If I ever need the kind of work they do, I will definitely go to them first.

This is a terrible place. I don t recommend it at all. I called the a few months ago, made an appointment and visit them. Left my car over there for window tint. They completed it and called me back when the car was ready. But when they called me they asked cash and they said the price was for cash. I didn t mind and paid and get my car back. They didn t give a receipt for it. Probably they do tax fraud. Anyway after a few months, my front passenger window tint was broken. It didn t even last a year! Do not go this place!

I recommend American Auto to friends; so, I guess I can recommend them to the world. Got a nagging headliner? Need a stereo replaced? Carpet & seats all torn up? This is the place that will make your ride right.

Manny and his staff were friendly, knowledgeable and skilled. They repaired my cracking driver side arm rest and center console arm rest sagging headliner and They even fixed the broken handle on my driver's seat back everything looks brand new I highly recommend American Auto Upholstery. Awesome. God bless.

The American Auto Upholstery could be the best kept secret in the South Bay. I found them through the internet, and liked their review. They were polite, honest, and prompt. My car's back seat was ripped on the left side. They made sure they only did what was necessary so as not to charge more. Their fee was very reasonable. They had the work done in less than 24 hours, and they ended up fixing a possible problem on the right with no extra charge. I love these guys, and confidently recommend them. They get an A+ from me!

I've used Manny in the past to repair my seatbelts on my Tahoe. This time I needed a chair reupholstered for my daughters desk. Found the color I needed, fixed and added cushioning before reupholstering. My daughter was happier than I was, which was my ultimate goal. Thank you to Manny and his staff, I will be a returning customer again..
