IF YOU HAD GOOD SERVICE FROM GRASS VALLEY GLASS, YOU WERE LUCKY.I set up an appointment the week before. The morning before the appointment I called to confirm the time etc. My associate also called that morning to confirm. We waited 1&1/2 hours, and no show. I called Grass Valley Glass to ask why no one showed up and why no one called us to cancel the appointment or at least a reasonable explanation. I got a lot of double talk and the run around. The woman and her Boss wanted me to reschedule and wait another week. Because I never did get a sensible explanation why they flaked out I asked again why we did not receive a call to cancel or whatever, then she hung up the phone. Unprofessional rude people there. PS: I found out later from one of their employees that Grass Valley Glass themselves post most of their good reviews!!

Who's on First??? It's like going to the building department, you get a different answer depending on who you talk to. The people seem nice and they gave me a refund, so the three stars reflect that. But at the end of the day, I got bad advice mulitple times from different people, and wasted about three to four hours of my time going back and forth with them about information they had but seemed to have lost or not looked at. And then there was the window I supposedly ordered that was just the glass. It turns out I was able to reset the exsing glass myself since it was just a seal issue, which I told them. Guess I should have just tried to fix it myself. (not often I say that) Only took twenty minutes.Maybe they do good work, so don't let me scare you away. Just make sure you are very clear about what is happening.

Don was very helpful for us today. My friend was only in town for today and needed her windshield repaired. Don took the time to make sure she could get safely on her way!!!!He does excellent work and quickly!

Beware! Ordered multiple replacement windows in our home and had multiple issues with this company. Marty the owner came out to put together a quote which we agreed on. It took 4 months to get installed. When the bill arrived several windows were overpriced. Marty was very difficult and rude to deal with. After that we had to have them come back for several of the windows that would catch on slide. Marty - the owner- came and was once again rude. My husband had to deal with him-he was very dismissive and condescending towards women. One of the windows stopped sliding. Ally at the office kept telling us we would get a call back. My husband had to finally go in to get results. Marty came out and looked at it quickly, adjusted something and left. The very next time we used it it stuck again. After many calls to the office, speaking to the owners wife and Ally we were promised a call back but never did get one. After six attempts we decided to track down the manufacturer. Gregg the sales rep for this area was very helpful and put us in touch with a woman who arranged a technician from the manufacturer to come out and fix it. Here's the real kicker-when the slide units were installed by Marty and his crew, and nail was hammered in in a bent fashion which prevented it to slide properly. SO when the rude owner himself comes out and says he corrected the issue, and did not even recognize the problem, time for him to get out of the business! We support many local businesses, but this one never again. We were told by the tech we can deal with the company directly for future orders. Looks like other reviews with similar issues!

I needed a patio door screen replaced. Excellent service and easy to work with. They kept in touch on a couple of questions and returned the newly screeed door in just over 24 hours. Always nice to work with a great local vendor.

I don't ever post reviews ever, but these guys just left our house and our experience with them was so WONDERFUL, I had to get on here. They are friendly, punctual, they communicate, they are fast and efficient and do outstanding work! Thank you Curtis and everyone there at Grass Valley Glass we love our shower glass and you guys made it such a great, super easy, and enjoyable experience! If you're shopping around for your glass needs, shop no more these guys are the real deal! :) matt and kristine
