5 stars for Five Star. We had a coolant hose fitting crack while drive I-80 east bound. Called and spoke with Ms. Christine who was so helpful both times we spoke. She did not pressure us to use their services, and gave as much help as she could answering all of our questions. We later, called another towing company who did not compare, so we later called back and got their services. Nick came out and you would ve thought we were not stranded on the side of the road for hours. His jokes, and passion for his job was top tier! Thank you Five Star!

Very horrible company and the lady at the front desk or that always answers the phone is really rude and inappropriate when talking to customers. I had my driver broken on the road and she doesn t give a dam about your situation. i would rather fire this lady or take the phone from her as she'll take the company down.

lady at the front desk is ridiculuos..please avoid this place..doesn t know how to interact with customers wasted 2 hours of mine and then left without any repair..please avoid this place

The driver sent out to help me was very kind and helpful. The management on the other hand was a nightmare. I was told by the driver, the police officer, and my insurance that a phone call would be sufficient to authorized the release of my vehicle to my insurance, however upon calling they did not release my vehicle. I politely gave management feedback that the driver could be better informed and better inform customers like me about what to expect. The manager began yelling and being generally rude and non-compliant and after driving an hour up to sign papers to release the car in person the manager then again began belligerently yelling at me and I had to contact chp to mediate. The manager had to be removed from the situation so that I could sign a piece of paper because that was all I needed to do. Overall terrible customer experience, would NOT recommend!

Extremely rude employee. Had a late night emergency towing. Highway robbery. Five Star towing shouldn't be their name.Train your workers about customer service.Do not recommend. Do Not Use Them!!Service: Local hauling

I've been in California for 35 years and I've dealt with many towing companies but what these guys did to get us off 80 with our toy hauler was one of the most amazing things I've seen and I just want to thank the guys and how they specially treated this situation over the weekendGod bless your crew thank you 5 star 5star all dayServices: Special vehicle towing, Car towing

We had a tire blow out on our 30 foot motorhome and AAA left us on the side of interstate 80 over 6 hours until they finally let us know they couldn't help us. It was extremely hot and we had 2 small dogs with us. 5 star towing came to the rescue. Towing us home would have been over $1000. Nick (Our tow guy from 5 star) took our spare off, trying to save us money from towing and it was really bad and bald. Still trying to help us he drove back to his shop and mounted a tire on our spare rim. He saved us and went beyond the call of duty. The dispatcher was also beyond helpful. RACIST! DO NOT HIRE THEM, KAREN WORKS HERE (aka Tara). I was quoted $5000-$10000 after being quoted $2000 all other places! RIDICULOUS! They should change their name to One Star towing instead.The lady I spoke to was rude, impatient and unprofessional. Worst customer service I ve ever experienced.

Absolute nightmare. I called this company to get my truck towed from Grass Valley to Rocklin CA not only this lady was extremely rude, obnoxious, but also quoted extremely high numbers with bunch of fees added on top. Do not use. Stay away. 5 star towing is 0 STAR TOWING.

Highly recommend!!� My kid locked my keys in the car, along with her spare set, and we had no way of getting into our truck for our early morning appointments.�� Five Star to the rescue!!!� He came out in pitch black, well after quittin' time, and had us back in our truck, keys in hand, in mere seconds.� Best customer service I've received in a long time.� They care about their customers, you're not just another job/paycheck to them.� Call them for your emergency roadside needs, they're good people.

I took a wrong turn and ended up on a mud trail I couldn't get out of. Called Five Star Towing and they were able to arrange everything to get my vehicle recovered. Excellent service. I was half expecting to have to abandon my car there until all the mud had dried. Very happy with the outcome. The drivers and dispatcher I worked with were genuinely good people.Service: Car towing

These kind folks saved us from disaster. Coming down the summit from 80 in a winter storm in a car that was not at all capable of handling the conditions... after several spinouts and near accidents we decided we weren't moving another inch and needed a tow past chain control. Every tow company we called quoted us 4-5 hour wait times matter-of-factly �except Five Star, where the lady who answered the phone was clearly a bit overwhelmed with service calls but still took the time to give us advice, recommendations, and told us she would do the best she could to get to us as quickly as possible. The tow came in under two hours and the driver was as friendly as could be. It was around 9 pm and he had been up since 6 in the morning towing cars out of the snow but he was upbeat, helpful, and was careful and skilled with the tow. i called them because my show chain got caught around my wheel. They quoted me $250 to come out, remove the wheel, check the brakes and put the wheel back on. They said the reason it would cost so much is because they couldn't simply cut the snow tire off. I am a single mom and appreciated their concern. They billed me before the driver arrived. The driver came, had me reverse the car a bit and the chain fell off. I was shocked, and so frustrated with myself. The driver said he called and asked to reduce the price, but five star wouldn't budge. I called when i got home and they insisted $250 was the flat fee to visit a car. Yep, my fault for not being familiar with the chain removal process i agree. I felt very vulnerable and taken advantage of and this is all i can do.

LITERALLY STOLE THE VEHICLE, told me the vehicle was under no parking zone. The vehicle was parked in the designated area and no signs anywhere near the vehicle. When I asked for the proof of photos to show the violation they refused to show photos because there was no violation. That is why I am opening a lawsuit against this towing company. As they get charged with theft, they will go out of business. NO ONE SHOULD TRUST THEM WITH THEIR VEHICLE, THEY STEAL AND ARE EXTREMELY RUDE. Luckily I have pictures of the vehicle as I left it in a designated parking area, good luck in the court, there is not one lawyer who would win your case now with all the witnesses and pictures that I have.Services: Motorcycle towing, Car lockouts, Special vehicle towing, Car towing, Tire change, Battery

Said he d be there in 10 minutes he was there in 9. This was after AAA said they would be there in an hour and there appSaid 3 minutes after an hour and they never showed. Had a double cab.

Don't ever try to get o job at this place. Tabby gives you a email address to spend a email to the owner Raman. I have made at least 5 calls to check in. Never got any response to NY email.
