Do your research for dealership comparison on parts and servicing. You should find their pricing is notably competitive. Certified Auto has been in business Forty-three years. Be mindful their prices could include additional fees. I paid two separate fees in addition to labor. One was a Core Fee. I was told by Ken it pertained to part disposal. Gene (the owner) explained further about the Core Fee. He stated it was a credit, the part provider normally refunds the auto shop. If the auto shop returns the old part to them. Gene explained, returned old parts could be used to rebuild the same/similar parts. I was not offered a starter rebuild. But, because I requested the replaced part. I incurred a Core Fee ($36). There is also a Hazard Fee on oil change/servicing. Valerie was extremely welcoming and helpful with questions. She explained their Hazard Fee is for clean-up and cloths, etc. as applied to oil change/servicing. Aside from those additional fees charged. I had been referred by AAA. The discount (I was told by Gene) is a $50 maximum. So, if the total of your service is $500 or over. Then you automatically receive the $50 credit. I received the fifty dollar AAA maximum credit They provided free shuttle and car wash. They have a small well maintained waiting area. Certified Automotive offers a three year warranty with specified mileage criteria. I would have given them five stars. But, the additional fees were a new experience.

I would give this place a 6/5 if I could. Their workers are always kind and helpful, their pricing is fair, and they always have my vehicle ready for me in a decent amount of time. I am married, working on my degree, and have a full time job so having a working car is very important and I can t do without one for too long. When I take my car here, I know my car will be taken good care of. Would (and have) definitely recommend!

They are very thorough and very professional and do good work and were able to diagnose a problem another shop hadn't been able to diagnose BUT they are definitely top tier in their pricing.

I can't say enough good things about this company! Excellent customer service and workmanship. A mechanic you can trust! We had a large repair come up and they kept us constanlty updated and aware of the situation. Timely, quality work, great customer service. They will even give you a local ride home for your convience. I trust them with all our family vehicles and our companys trucks. They have found and repaired issues that other mechanics were unable to resolve. HIGHLY RECOMEND!!!

3 Years ago Certified replaced 8 Fuel injectors with Rebuilt ones. We have gone 10,000 miles so far and now they are junk. According to our mechanic now the injectors that were put in our 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Diesel Truck were the wrong ones and the copper rings were not removed when they slid the new rebuilt injectors in. We had soot built up and one of the tips to one of the injectors broke off when trying to take it out and now we have to take the head off. First of all, since we are out of warranty, we have no recourse to come back and have Certified Automotive to fix this but I can give them a poor review. The work was very poor and I do not recommend anyone using this company to have their autos and trucks serviced here. When the work was first done, there was whistling coming from the engine and we took it back and were told that it was due to the engine mounts. That was a lie. This company uses cheap product and the wrong parts. Or was it just us???? If this would have happened when we were pulling our trailer, we could be looking at putting a new engine in our truck. Very nice and courtesy staffs, this place is keeping tradition services. I really like this service. The store has the '80 era theme, but they keep up with the technology. I misplaced my smog check, a quick phone call, and I have a replacement. Another store might not be able to do the same. Watch for their couple email send to you now and then. Keep up your good work. Plan to go back there when I have car trouble. A good, trustworthy store.Service: Smog certification

Best customer service from a mechanic shop I ve ever had! Ken was very up front and honest with me from the beginning. Along with my service, they performed a free multipoint inspection and sent the results to my phone via text. They didn t pressure me to fix any of the things they found. They have a shuttle to take you back home and pick you up while your car is being serviced. Prices were great! Valuable coupons are available on their website. I will definitely be going back. Thank you guys very much!

Certified has been servicing our family s cars for years. The folks here are communicative, friendly, reliable, and trustworthy. I ve always felt confident taking our vehicles here. Great crew.I've known this shop for almost 40 years. Though I moved out of the area for a short time, I've never encountered anther shop as efficient, knowledgable, customer oriented & genuinely a pleasure to do business with!I can always rely on Certifed for all our families auto service needs.I could go on but I don't want to make them blush! The front office was amazing it was my first time going here and it will definitely not be the last! I had Jeff help me diagnose and get back to me with all the information I needed for my vehicle, he broke everything down and told me what needed to be fixed and what may need to be fixed for the future. They send you a text with a whole diagnostic of what they did and it included pictures and even pictures of the mechanic that worked on your vehicle! I have been a customer of Certified Auto for several years and have never been disappointed. They have a well trained staff and are always able to diagnose and fix any problem I have with my cars. They take time to explain what the problem is and what needs to be done. Over the years I have always found them to be honest and trustworthy with respect to the work they have done for me. They are nice people and a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants quality work at a fair price.

Now days it is harder and harder to find a competent, professional and reasonably priced mechanic. I have been taking all my vehicles to Certified and have never been let down. They are friendly, accommodating, and very thorough. AAA selected Certified Automative Specialists for us. We are so happy that they did. Jeff was great. He was very communicative and helpful. Our car was fixed and cleaned in just a couple of days. They picked me up in a courtesy car and drove me to their business to get my car. Everyone there was very friendly and courteous, especially Ken who was my service representative . The inspection of my vehicle was done thoroughly and professionally.They did not talk me into any other needless repairs. My wife mentioned this place as a possible shop to get an alignment. She went there in the past before she knew me and was pretty happy with them. I've worked as a mechanic for many years but can't do everything. I know the ins and outs of how corrupt the industry can be to a customer. It's the reason why I left auto repair in the 90's and don't trust anyone to work on my vehicles. This place was a pleasant surprise. As someone that had been in the industry I found this place to be very professional and courteous. They completed my complicated alignment in one day and charged what I thought was a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend them based on what I experienced.

The entire staff of Certified Automotive Specialists was amazing! They are courteous, prompt, careful and thorough. What more can you ask for when they are fixing your vehicle? The location is spotless and welcoming and I highly recommend this location. I had new brakes put on my Lexus and I have to say I haven't seen it stop t his smoothly since I purchased my car. I have been taking my cars to Certified for over 12 years now. I know I can take my cars there in complete confidence that the job will be done correctly, timely, and I won't be pestered to purchase service that is not needed. Like the professionals that they are, they will keep me informed on possible future concerns that may happen down the road. I have 2 cars with a lot of miles on them, and those cars are running beautifully thanks to Certified. The crew in the front office are always friendly and courteous. I would (and have) recommended Certified to friends and co-workers.

I have been bringing my cars here for over the last decade. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It's hard to find a auto shop you can trust, and certified is the only one I trust.My father used to work on cars and is very knowledgeable about mechanics. He taught us a lot about cars and doing things yourself to learn. After time went by it got too time consuming for us to work on our vehicles at home and he went looking for a place where our entire family could bring our cars for repairs and checkups. For my dad to give certified that vote of approval shows how great this company is.They never try to push you into repairs or suggest things that are not in the best interest of your car. It is comfortable and easy talking with everyone and they explain things and an easy to understand manner.Also, ask for Jeff, he is the one I always work with.

My Tesla was towed to Certified Automotive Specialists at 1 am with a flat tire. I hadn't heard of this place before but it was recommended by AAA. And now I am recommending it! They were professional and thorough and provided great service. They fixed the tire (and rim) and communicated with me at every step. Jeff was awesome and made sure that the car was perfectly in balance. I would recommend Certified Automotive Specialists to anyone and will be bringing all my cars here for service!

We have been coming to certified for years and would not think of going anywhere else. Gene, Robin, Jeff, and the rest of the staff bend over backwards to make sure each visit is perfect. My engine was just replaced at Hyundai and Gene looked the car over afterward to make sure we were ready for a big trip. Turns out we were low on oil. No matter the issue, Certified makes it their business to make it important. That's important to me in any business I support. And Certified is at the top of my list. Thank you Gene!

Incredibly respectable business. Employees were thorough, genuine in their work, and remarkably polite. I was kept well-informed with every process, and found the service to be both professional as well as reasonably priced. If you are looking for reliability and/or attentiveness, I would recommend the Certified Automotive Specialists.

Took my "semi-newly purchased" 2018 Sienna for a strut replacement. We bought the van at a used dealer and, even if the report was a little spotty, we still purchased it because it was a steal at the price we got it at.Brought the van to another local dealer to get it inspected and they were able to spot some problem areas that the dealer's mechanic did not find (or disclose). We also took it to the Toyota dealer to get an alignment and another inspection. The dealer noted that the struts needed to be replaced.This led us to CAS. Ken gave us a pretty decent quote for the job and even looked into our extended warranty to see if the job was covered (it was not unfortunately).They ended up doing a super thorough inspection where they found another problem (rotors) that the other 2 places missed. They even sent a text with pictures of what they found. (When I said thorough, I mean thorough.) I didn't feel the slightest amount of pressure to get this doneAt the end, they did a great job and they had a service special that saved me a good chunk of change. Also with the COVID-19 issue, they made me feel safe as they did their part in creating a safe environment for their customers.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

At this point I wouldn t bring my trucks anywhere else. Certified auto in Glendora has saved me more than a few times. They are honest, professional, and get the job done the right way the first time. I ve never been surprised with additional charges like other shops. Watch your wallet! We have gone to Certified many times. At least two cars have been serviced there. The service is good. But beware; the price point is over the top! $154 hourly labor rate (which I was patiently told is the going rate, if not better than others). Battery replacement cost (labor ONLY) was $82 on a 2008 Chev Trailblazer. Crazy, I thought, but it was supposedly due to cars needing to have a memory connection to the new battery (my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado didn't have this issue when I swapped out the battery at an AutoZone; no charge BTW). I could have had the battery replaced for almost half the original price at Certified by going elsewhere (battery and install). Coincidentally, my Scion xB needed struts and shocks (according to Certified) which was scheduled for right after the battery replacement on the Trailblazer. Another shop said that they were probably fine (along with other recommended repairs). Okay, I said, but go ahead and replace them anyway. Less than $800 was the out the door price at the other place (OEM). Certified wanted $2,100 (roughly), but offered a $50 discount for being AAA member. Guess who I went with? Sorry, but even with AAA discounts and random coupons ($10 off, LOL) in the mail, Certified Automotive is only for those with BIG pockets. I'll be going elsewhere in the future.Services: Battery, Oil change
