Great customer service. They're Professionals and knowledgeable of what they're saying and doing. They were informative of all the questions I had. I took my car the other day for a diagnosis. Even though I didn't end up fixing my car there, I would go back again for other future maintenance Thank you.

They are the best. The battery died in my Mini Cooper S. I thought that was no big problem and one place offered to change it out. I spoke with a family member that advised it would require more than just replacing the battery as the computer on board also needs to be accessed and updated with the new battery information. I called Bauer German Car Repair and spoke with Andreas. He confirmed/explained what needed to be done, quoted the price and timeframe. My care was completed before expected. Andreas is the best. We will use Bauer German Car Repair for both of our cars. Thank you Andreas.

Will, by "no circumstances give a rough estimate over the phone." I know all the reviews on here seem good but, auto mechanics as a whole are a shady group and I would like to know roughly, how much I am going to be charged before I walk in the door. I told him the issue, gave him the exact part I needed and he would not tell me any information and was rude. Hence the 1 star review.I have met one too many dishonest mechanics in my life to drop my car off somewhere not knowing what my bill is going to be.EDIT: RESPONSE TO THE BUSINESS OWNERS DISHONEST COMMENTS.By no means did I lie in anything I said. You would not, and I quote by no means give an estimate over the phone . So, I think you need to take a second look at yourself before you go lying to everyone on here, sir.Also, if you are really perplexed on why people don t trust mechanics, go ahead and read Ray Arroyo s post from 4 months ago about YOUR business and how outrageously overpriced you are. Read that a few times and the next time someone calls with concerns of being over charged by a mechanic, you will at least understand.I don t think you re a bad person but, by the way you responded to this post, you are definitely not the best business man. I stand by my review of 1 star.Keep in mind, it s not wise to argue with potential customers on google reviews. You look un-educated and very unprofessional.Have a Merry Christmas.

From the moment I called and was greeted with an enthusiastic Happy Friday! I knew I had found the right place. My BMW had a right low beam malfunction which I was told could be fixed same-day. I brought the car in and it was fixed within 45 minutes. Camille was so friendly and so knowledgeable on German cars, which is no surprise as he s been doing this for 45 years. The cost was more than reasonable. And on top of that, there were Krispy Kreme donuts and chocolate chip cookies for the customers (and you just know I devoured a cookie). Will absolutely come here again should I need to as I m so tired of dealing with the dealerships.

I came here simply just for a oil change cuz I saw one on Groupon. They told end they will still honor the Groupon price if I haven t buy it yet. They told me the oil will be changed after one hour so I took my son and hang around for about an hour and they called me said they have something to say to me. The oil hasn t changed by the time I went back, they told me something wrong with the knob here and we will help you fix it, we got you covered, it s not a big deal I been changed my oil for at least ten times and no one ever told me this. I said ok anyway since I really need the oil chang ASAP. I waited for about another two hours, BTW the oil I never waited so long for just a oil change. Someone came to me and told me the job would cost me $247, I was surprised you know cuz it s only a knot and the oil chang is $70 on Groupon. Paid anyway and here s my nightmare begins, I started to see a lot oil on my garage floor after a night parked there, out of country for a week on the second day, the full tank is leaked after I came back, the oil just everywhere. ( I didn t have the chance to take a picture cuz my dad cleaned all, the pic here shows only after the first night) I called back and they ask me to take it back .. but I really don t want to since the poor job they have done to my car, very disappointed. They suggested me twice to leave my car there for them to exam and fixed luckily I didn t do that. Otherwise I can t imagine how much more troubles I ll have today.I understand time is hard for small businesses, but integrity definitely is the key in the long run. You could won a loyal customer thru the promotion but instead you won someone will never go to your shop. All the best lucks. And I need to find someone can really fix both problems now.

Dropped off my Audi for an oil change, needed a bit more work done than that and it was a much better deal compared to the dealership. Very honest and upfront people, I m really glad I stumbled upon this place!

Hey all, this is it; this is the shop you take your baby to. The service I got here was outstanding, doing much better than any other shop I've been to. You can rest easy regardless of the work you need done. I went in the shop with a few issues that I ran into up in the Azusa canyon, but Andreas and his team solved them all and put me at ease. So when I'm back in the area, and the canyons call, I'll know if I run into any issues the boys at Bauer German Auto will solve them. Thanks y'all

BMWs are special animals (like many German Cars) and Bauer is the special animal trainer. Andreas is like the vetinarian of these animals telling me how to train and feed it. And when it feels bad or needs a check up, I take it to the Doctor.

Highly recommend! If we could give extra stars we would. We showed up to the shop on a Thursday late afternoon with a thermostat issue on our BMW X5 he came out took a look and said it will be ready tomorrow afternoon and saved us a lot of money compared to what the dealer quoted and he even replaced the water pump for what the dealer quoted me for just a thermostat.All his employees are all very helpful and courteous. Owner is a cheerful guy and is happy to help you.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Andreas at Bauer German Auto came through for me, and I'm very appreciative. By phone, he gave me clear information and an estimate. Understanding the urgency of my issue, he then gave me VIP treatment and expedited my repairs, and had it completed before he even promised he would!This company has been around for a long time in this location, and my sense is they really know their way around German cars, which can be more complex than the average vehicle. When I came to the shop to pick up my car, it was very busy there. Lots of cars, mechanics, people around, activity, it seems like a pretty thriving place. This is a good sign because it points to customer loyalty. My sense also is that this is not a corporate business out to make a quick buck. I got an insurance claim thru this shop to mainly fix my 2013 bmw 328 i front passenger front finder, front passenger headlight, and suspension on front passenger, after over two weeks I came back to pick up the car to found out days later the old finder is still there and he did admit about not doing the headlights issue basically he said it not part of the accident but of coarse I call triple AAA to confirm and they say yes they supposed to change the finder and headlights...he saw me as a push over so he took advantage of me because I see lots of other reviews not complaining. that because they don't look like a push over now the finder and headlights is still not fixed smh. The suspension on the front passenger side that they fix now the tires has uneven wear on the tires am in the process of trying my best to take them to small claims court and hopefully a police report at the end of the day I made a huge mistake going to this small shop I need to go to actual bmw dealer or carmax. Thet couldn't even fix a battery issue continue to do software update for everything

Very pricey I needed a battery I was going to buy one at sams but bauer to me i can not use that battery they told me the computer had to be recalibrated understandable they told me they only use German parts when inspecting the battery it was a regular battery I could have bought at sams or a parts shop. when looking at the receipt I was charged 250.00 for a non german made battery and 245.00To remove and install the battery.saw nothing about a recalibration fee never on the bill why because it was very simple to do the new mechanic told me he never charge for that all in all there was no calibration i feel i was deceived. then I was told it was time for a transmission oil change but a 700.00 cost now I'm worried because I have to drive back to Florida so I looked on line for other mercedes mechanics with good reviews found one 300.00 for transmission oil change

I have been taking my BMW to Bauer for years. They are upfront about the cost of repairs, and they are knowledgeable. I also like their free shuttle service. Bauer German Car Repair has exceeded my expectations! I took my BMW 4 series to Bauer and they really are German automotive experts.Good:-Pricing is clear-Offer a shuttle service-Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable-They use OEM parts and liquids-Plus they washed my car.Bad:- noneI feel that Bauer is better than going to a dealership. I have been going to Bauer German Car Repair for a couple years now. I have to say that they have the best customer service and high quality work. They always go above and beyond to accommodate you not only in services but also financially. I am a college students and he is always very accommodating and making sure my car is safe my service is affordable. I highly recommend them.

We really like Bauer and have been taking our BMW's here for service for years. They are always super friendly and very helpful with any issues or questions that we have. Another bonus is they will come and pick up and drop off your car for you if you are within a certain range of the shop. I've only serviced my car at a non-benz dealer once prior to this. These guys are the best! They definitely knew everything they were talking about and completed my Service B at a really good cost. Furthermore, their customer service was superior to Newport Beach & Fresno Mercedes Benz. I have been a loyal client of Bauer for many years now. Their services are top knotch and always timely!They have very fair pricing, kind staff, and a great place to sit and relax if you need to kill some time. My 2001 Audi has been fully service by them, everything from fixing the window regulators, to coolant leaks, to sensors and tire rotations!They put their customers first, and Andreas makes sure to do whatever he has to, to make his clients happy. I fully recommend Bauer German Auto for all your German Car Mechanical needs!

Words will never be enough for me to truly express how grateful and thankful I am for Mr. Bauer and his team's kindness. My car broke down in front of their shop in the most random way and Mr. Bauer and his team were like angels in disguise. He literally took it upon himself to give me a jump start and escorted me home. I don't know what I would have done that day without his kindness.
