Genuine location. Called and spoke to Moe. Real nice guy. Told him my daughter was coming by for a smog test. She came by after school and was done in no time. Professional service. Thank you Moe. Trust this place.

The owner is very nice and very understanding. They were quick. I had a smog check and it was reasonably priced didn t try to upsell me or add any additional maintenance that I did not need. They had a really nice office to wait with freshwater and a TV. Highly recommend!!

Moe the owner really helpful, he fixed my car and help me pass the smog check, i would recommend for anyone to do a smog check here, and for anyone who have a problem with your car, visit this place and let this place do their magic. Whenever i have a problem with my car, i always bring my car here. They are very reliable and quick, i ve never find a place better than this place. They offered very reasonable price and honest service. Something hard to find these days.

I brought my car to Moe after failing two smog checks at "test only" stations. During the duration of my car being at his shop, I found him to be responsive, honest, and helpful. These are attributes that are not always found at mechanic's shops, as we all know. Moe and his helper Jesse found that my thermostat was malfunctioning, and I then realized this had been an issue for several years; very thankful for their diagnosis. They also found my mass air flow sensor to have issues. After replacing these two parts, my car finally passed smog. Throughout the process, Moe called often with updates and was very responsive when I called him on a few occasions. He was very accountable. He also took time to explain the process and answer any questions I had. He never made me feel like I was "inconveniencing" him, as many do. I felt as though I was making a new friend the longer we corresponded. Let's face it, having your car in a shop for any reason, is not a situation you look forward to, but I have to say, Moe made the situation as comfortable as possible and had me thankful when it was over that I had chosen Advanced Auto Smog Star to perform my repairs.Services: Smog certification, Emissions testing

I ve been bringing my car to these guys for about the last 10 years. I ve got a small fleet of various types of vehicles and these guys are excellent! I had a hard to diagnose smog and emissions issue and these guys were able to get me taken care of where two other shops fail to get it done.On top of that they were incredibly reasonably priced and easy to work with.All the local car dealerships bring their vehicles here for smog tests and so should you!Services: Hybrid vehicles service, Registration renewal

I needed a smog check, this place was quick and honest service. Moe was friendly on the phone and in person.Be careful when you turn on arrow highway coming off Grand, there s another similar auto shop, that you will see before this shop. Don t be fooled.

I had a difficult one. A 1979 Camaro needed to pass SMOG before I could transfer ownership and re-register it. I could easily find a Test Only station but I thought I might need repair work as well. Most of the local Test and Repair stations said they wouldn't test AND repair vehicles that old. I found Moe at Advanced Auto SMOG Star after an exhaustive area search of local test centers. He had loads of five star reviews. When I called, he immediately said "No problem, bring it in." No hesitation. When I got there, he slowly explained the process and laid out the costs involved. After I failed the initial SMOG Test, Moe really went the extra mile. He identified several emissions parts I needed and explained why I needed them. We did our best to find OEM parts. Not an easy task for a vehicle from 1979. After replacing the necessary parts, and a little carb adjustment, we passed the second SMOG Test. Moe couldn't possibly give me a guarantee it would pass, but he worked diligently to make it happen. He even did an oil change for me as it was smoking a bit, just in case. The other thing is, he's always available to answer questions and he keeps you updated on the progress. Even if it wouldn't have passed, I would have been satisfied that he did all he could. I'll go nowhere else for SMOG Tests. I highly recommend Advanced Auto SMOG Star Test and Repair Center. Go ahead, give Moe a call....even for the hard ones...

My check engine light kept coming on. The most unfortunate code kept coming up- catalytic converter. After having 15 other people check it out I was pretty confident that was the problem. So this is where I brought it to get the work done. They were wonderful keeping me informed of the progress. I did have to leave my car there for 4 days, but that was cool (not really).They apparently took good care of it because everything was as I left it & the job was also well done because I no longer had that check engine light on. They did require that I drive a few (80)miles & bring it back for the retest ($free) to officially pass. I was & still am with the service I got here.

Living in Southern California you have a lot of options when it comes to Smog testing. It is hard to find a shop that is professional and honest. Now that I have found Moe, I no longer need to find a new shop. Honest and competitively priced, I was in and out with minimal waiting. Moe was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Advanced Smog.

I just moved in California since I came from texas. My experience with these guy's are top-notch. I'm looking for honesty since this was my first time getting a smog inspection. They solve egr/vvt problem on my 2019 odyssey within a few hours to pass inspection. Other shops or dealer would have took more time and cost more. Jessie was very professional taking care of three of my cars and Mo gave me affordable prices vs other smog shops. I will take my 3 cars to them once my inspections are due again. My car did not pass its smog inspection, and I found Moe and his team after an exhaustive search for an approved mechanic to help me make the repairs. Moe knows his stuff, not just the repairs but the paperwork and dealing with the state as we navigated difficult supply chain issues.My car is now repaired - it has passed the smog test, and is running better than it has for years. Took my car in for a smog check and to see why the check engine light was on. Was informed in words a non-mechanic could understand what was wrong, they were able to take my car in that day and the next day it was ready to pick up. So glad forthe fast service and amazing communication. Would recommend coming here for service.

I had to take my mother-in-law s 2002 toyota in for a smog test i knew would fail. They gave me the error code and i was skeptical at first because I have mechanic trust issues, however they were 100% correct. The gave me a great price to repair valve on the gas tank. They even went out of their way to prep the car for the test and as expected it passed. I can t stress enough how good these guys are. Thank you guys for great and fast service. I now have a go to place for smog and repairs.

I took my 04 Avalanche in to have a code checked and repaired and a smog check. Moe and Jessie are some of the nicest people you could ask for. Very professional and super nice. They don't just do smog checks but can actually fix any problem you may have. Couldn't recommend them more. They are my new smog guys... I called several local places in the SFV for a quote on getting my car STAR smogged but it was super expensive. So I tried looking around for a place on my way to my family's where I'd be visiting and found this one. Moe was great! Very nice guy, great price, and quick service. I highly recommend this place.

This place is the best. They have speedy service, great customer service, and very competitive prices. Moe does a great job and makes it very easy. I live in LA and his service is so good I still drive out to his shop whenever I need a smog check. Thanks again Moe!

You would never find a nicer man than Moe! I asked the Shell owner where he moved and he would not say and seemed very angry I asked. Thank goodness I found an old card with his number. Moe is so kind and grateful for his old customers finding him in Glendora. He knows all his customers and their cars He has done smog checks for all my families cars for many years and it doesn't hurt that AAA is 1 block away. Smog test and tags all in the same hour! Great! We have a date again in 2 years Moe! Great seeing ya!

This place is awesome, super friendly and they took the time to resolve my issues. He calls back and kept me up to date with all progress. My vehicle required 4 sensors and a difficult process. My 1990 Toyota pick up truck had already failed smog twice. I brought it to this shop since it had such great reviews. I am very glad I made this decision Jessie and Moe took care of me, they found what was wrong and for a very reasonable price fixed it they even found a loose spark plug wire and a mass airflow sensor that had been inproperly reinstalled and repaired that for no charge these guys are awesome. If you're looking for a true technician not a parts exchanger these are your guys they won't try to penny pinch you for every nickel they can get, very honest shop. I highly recommend this place and will be bringing any emissions related work for myself and family to them from now on, try them you won't be disappointed.
