Terrible service repairing my tire. They stated I had a nail in my drivers side front tire, they fixed it and all was good. 4 days later my tire light came back on while driving home from Visalia. I would have never driven my car that far if I knew this nail was still stuck in my tire. I should have went with my gut and took my car to the Lodi Les Schwab! Galt employees seem bothered by anyone that walked into the shop poor customer service.

It s either the mechanic did a bad job or they sold me substandard products and compromised the safety of my family.Came back here today to find out that my brake caliper guide pin is broken.Few months ago, I had my car serviced in this location to replace my breaks, calipers and all the additional things they told me I should replace in my car and paid almost $1,400 for this service. Few weeks later, my husband and I started noticing a weird screeching sound. Like as if a metal touching another metal.We went back here yesterday to ask if they could examine it, because we only started hearing the noise after having the car serviced here.We ve been told by Andrew, that they did not find anything wrong. However, he mentioned that he could hear the noise we were talking about. So he suggested, for our own peace of mind, to bring back another day so they could take the parts out, lubricate them, to make sure everything is alright.When I came back today, Daniel, another mechanic, told me there is nothing wrong with the vehicle, and there is no point of taking the parts out because everything looks fine. He also said the noise we heard is perfectly normal.I had to insist for them to check it. Kinda felt like he did not want to do it, and wanted me to leave You don t have to be a mechanic to recognize that something sounds wrong.After they finally agreed to inspect my car. They told me there was actually something wrong and apparently caliper guide pin is broken . Saddest part that instead of taking responsibility, they blamed it on the product. Nobody apologized for the bad service.Their bad service or product compromised the safety of my family. There were 3 different mechanics that looked at my car. All of them told me everything is okay. Had I listened to them, I would ve walked away and drove a car with faulty breaks.

I d give less than one star if possible. I have brought my vehicle in twice now for a simple alignment and both times they have played games. The first time it was all the ball joints and the brand new tie rod ends that I had just installed are bad and the struts need replaced before they could do an alignment. I brought the vehicle home and put all new upper and lower control arms, with new ball joints a new wheel bearing on the passenger side (because I had to put a torch on the center but to remove it. I replaced it just to be safe), fox coil overs and adjusted everything back as close as I could by eye. I took the truck in around 11 am and was told there were three vehicles ahead of mine for an alignment and we will be able to get to it by the end of the day. I walk home and I m waiting and waiting and as 5 o clock rolls around I call them and Whoops, they were unable to get to it once again but they are going to put it on the rack and make sure the work that I had done is good. So I head that way already a little upset at the fact I could have taken it to another shop in that amount of time. When I arrive I go inside to get my keys and wouldn t you know it they once again try to upsell me. The front right wheel bearing (the one I had just replaced) is bad and has play in it from top to bottom. I took the vehicle home, jacked the front end up and checked both front wheel bearings and could find no play in either side. Unless you are okay with being ripped of and having your time wasted I d avoid this place completely.

It was Monday afternoon, around 5pm. The tpms on our motorhome gave us a alarm on the 99 hwy. We pulled out the motorhome from the hwy and found that one tire lost its air completely.The local gas station suggested us to call this place. We were worried since it was after 5pm and thier closing time is 6pm.Thankfully, they told us to bring the motorhome and fixed it after hours. I personally thankful to Jose, who fixed our tire. It was really hot day but he did all his best to fix the tire.

Made an appointment for TPMS System failure. It was diagnosed and one bad sensor later out the door in 1hr. Great service.

Faith, Chris, John, and Jose were super helpful! I called them about 20 minutes before their closing time with flat tire assistance. Jose was there in about 5 minutes after the call. The team stayed after closing to make sure they replaced my tires. Great team and I recommend 11/10!!

I brought to new tires in along with two rims to have mounted and balanced and they wanted to charge me 85.00 to do 15 to 20 minutes worth of work, Out Ragusa! Will not be using them again!!

The reason that we buy it tires from LS is because of their fantastic customer service. Pulled in with a punctured tire at 5:20 pm, back on the road in under 20 minutes.

My story isn't like most people's tire stories. I purchased a set of desert explorer paddle tires and wheels online. I originally took them to another chain tire center to get the tires mounted to the wheels. The first time center attempted to mount the wheels but ultimately could not get them to seat right on the beads. I had to collect them and find another shop to get these tires mounted.That's where Les Schwab Tire Center in Galt came to the rescue. They were super friendly, and got my tires mounted for me at no additional charge. I will definitely be thinking about buying my next set of tires from Les Schwab Tire Center Galt.

I limped into Les Schwab about 5:00pm to replace two tires. Though they close at 6pm, and there were four cars ahead of mine, they managed to get it done. When I checked their work, there was a small glitch. They cheerfully made it right without hesitation and sent me on my way a satisfied customer. Thank you to everyone!

I've been coming to this location for the past 4 years since I moved to Galt and usually I get very good service and I get honesty up front but my last experience was very disappointing. I brought in my 2004 Frontier because I had concerns about the alignment along with the steering. The steering box turned out to be completely shot so David the manager who I was talking to regarding what they recommended told me that they could get a remanufactured unit which they eventually did but it was delayed due to a driver issue. I wasn't worried nor was I in a big hurry but what kind of frustrated me was I had to keep calling them to follow up with what was going on even though I was being very patient I had not heard back from them in almost a week. I finally had gotten an update that the steering box was going to come in and the next day my truck was finally done. They had performed an alignment and also replaced my sway bar bushings and sway bar end links along with the steering box but what frustrated me a few days later was discovering a giant puddle of power steering fluid in my driveway. I spent over $1,000 on a remanufactured steering box but yet they couldn't at least tell me that my power steering hoses were completely shot which happened to connect to that steering box that they installed!! There was no recommendations made at all regarding the hoses which I ended up having replaced at Nissan Elk Grove because they happen to have the entire hose assembly in stock and I didn't want to continue having a severe leak. I've spent a lot of money at this Les Schwab and it's very disappointing because like I mentioned before I normally have gotten very good service but this time I feel like since they have changed managers that this location just is not the same anymore. Even the cashier who rang me up was very pushy and rude even though I was being very nice and patient with them!! Very disappointing overall..

Good prices and fast service. Staff always polite and helpful. Just had a set of tires put on my Mustang -- quick, and they check brakes, suspension, etc. And, if that wasn't enough, they rotated the tires on my other car for free.

I've been in on 3 seperate occasions for a wheel alignment. They never have ink for the printer that provides wheel alignment details. Very frustrating.Also, they will not mount tires that were not sold by them. It's a shame because they are in town for me, but I refuse to go back.UPDATE:I recently went back to have my Pontiac G8 aligned again after some front end repairs. I was very pleased that the technician called me & asked if I had a preference how the alignment was set. AND I got a printout of the alignment settings this time! It may seem like a dumb pet peeve, but it is reassuring to see the before & after values.Thank you!

My wife bought new tires here a few months ago and 1 of the tires was loosing air so I took it in without an appointment and they took a screw out of the tire and had me in and out in a little under an hour. The best part was that they didn't charge me anything!! Thanks Les Schwab!!

Not very pleased with their Estimated time for putting 7 new tires on rims and installing 6 on my 1ton Ford F350 Dually. Got there before my 12:30 appointment, asked about time told 11/2 hours. Got out of there @ 3:30, isn't that 3 hours???Good to have All New Tires, including spare. Going on a little drive on Friday

Very spacious lobby area was the first thing i noticed when i opened the door. The lady who tended to me once i came in, was very knowledgeable and after u saw her tend to a couple of customers after me, i got the impression she could run the whole shop by herself! Of course,.there needs to be other workers but she she sure did know her stuff! Great place to go to get your tires checked!

Tire install was done on my C5 corvette. Manager walks out and gives me a snapped wheel lug. I watch the mechanic use a 1/2 drive impact to install and remove he also used a screwdriver to remove old weights scratching the rims no offer to repair damage had to repair myself. No respect for the hard work I have put into this car. Never use that store again

Made an appointment to get my alignment done...got in and out in about an hour! People were friendly and the tech explained a couple of things that i need to watch out for...but no pressure to book them! Great job Les Schwab guy!

Great customer service.They're nice enough to fix a flat tire or rotate your tires for free as long as you re a previous customer.My only complaint is appointments. I had an appointment at 2pm 2 days prior. When i arrived on time for my appointment, I waited about 2 hrs and noticed my car out in the parking lot STILL NOT being worked on.When I asked the lady at the counter what had been going on, not even she knew. She was surprised they haven t taken it in. Poor lady didn't know what to say she just came up with a standard excuse. (I work for customer service I know whats up).The issue? They took on a lot of walk-in issues and forgot about my appointment. This location definitely needs to work on this. This is unacceptable. My appointment was at 2pm and I now just got my vehicle back it s 6:05pm. I wasted my whole day on the irresponsibility of a business.

Great service. They greeted me at the door promptly and was very helpful in giving me a quote for my repairs. They set me up with new tires installed and everything at a fair price. They were happy to help even at a untimely visit 5:10pm when closing was 6pm. Verry satisfied.

Had a screw removed from tire as well as rotation of tires. Returned to have a noise on the passenger side checked out that wasn't there before. Was told there would be a 45 minutes to 1 hour wait. 2 hours later ask how much longer told oh there's 6 vehicles ahead of me. Had other things to take care of so I went home and checked for the noise myself. Found that they had left a lug nut loose and it had came off. Went back to the store told them what I found. Low and behold they took my vehicle in at that moment. Not 5 minutes later was on my way. Had told them in the beginning the noise only started after they had worked on it. Signed Not a Happy Camper

Dropped my truck off to have tires swapped and was told it would be an hour and a half. Came to pick it up two hours later and they hadn't even touched it yet. They told me that it would be at least another half an hour before they could even start on it. I have been a loyal Les Schwab customer for 30 years but I will never go back!

Had an emergency flat repair situation. Took the tire here to have it fixed only because they were the closest place. We have never bought tires from Les Schwab. A young man named Matt checked me in an took the tire away. Gave me a 45 minute expected wait time. After about 35 minutes, Matt called me to the counter to process the paperwork and told me the flat had been fixed. I was expecting about a $25 charge (only because the tire was not from there). Matt said that the fee would be waived. I was completely surprised. Stuff like that just doesn't happen any more. Good job Les Schwab and thank you Matt. Would recommend and would certainly consider purchasing our next set of tires here.

Stopped in to have the air in my tires checked, with cooler weather affecting tire pressure. I'm disabled, and its difficult for me to get down and back up. As I just bought a new set of tires from another of their locations, I decided to go where service is always wonderful. I was less than enthused when the gentleman putting air in my tires showed more interest in his buddy that had just pulled up, and only barely glanced at my tire pressure. Friendly? Yes. Friendly with someone other than the customer they are assisting? Definitely. I have stopped here before with my previous tires, and other staff have been very courteous so they still deserve 4 Stars.This was ? Monday the 18th, I believe.
