It was a smooth visit. I had my appointment at 8am. And Techs were informative about the diagnostics report completed. I had my vehicle fixed and ready by noon. Thank you Pepboys location on Kings Canyon and Clovis.

I went in for an alignment and tire rotation. The staff was friendly and super fast. They told me it would be be done in an hour and a half they were done in 45min. Everyone else in town told me to drop my truck off and come back in three hours. I couldn't wait that long. I will be taking my truck and car to Pepboys from now on, great job.

Our family have been customers of this shop for about 10 years. We used to love the friendly management, excellent prices for services. Now, they've lost us forever. Bottom line: You've got to be able to trust the people working on your vehicles....They've violated that trust.

Never had a problem with these guys when it comes to working on my tires. As much as I like supporting small businesses, I have never had a good experience with a smaller business touching my car, these guys on the other hand, never had a problem and they even do some stuff for free that others charge for.

Caught a nail during the week close to closing time. Jonathan and Rich made sure to get the tire replaced and me back on the road. Very appreciative for their help and excellent service.

Had car issues and made an appointment. When I got there I waited a couple hours just to not be helped since the mechanic called out. Came back the following day and waited just to be told they can t figure out what s the problem.

Yeah this place sucks, had the check engine light on and they said they couldn t do the service and cleared the code. That made it more difficult for other places to scan, since there was no code anymore. They still charged me though, wouldn t recommend

Service was terrible, tech was completely wrong on the diagnostic. I payed 100 dollars for diagnostic and tech was rude, and trying to have me pay 800 dollars to fix the wrong part ..after I asked is the oil pressure switch ok? He said yes it s good but it s the vvt solinoid .. I took it to Honda north and they had oil pressure switch defective I changed it myself for 40 dollar part.. stay away from this place

Service manager very unprofessional quoted 1.5, hours for work. It took 7.45 hours. He did not communicate and just left us waiting. I will never go back.

Worst experience ever. I came here for an alignment and they were trying to sell me tires by saying my front tires which were only 2 years old were bad, so i told them to rotate the tires and then they got annoyed after few minutes they said it is going to take 1 hour just to rotate. Really BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Repairs were done to my front end, and I can really tell the difference. Front end alignment was also done and now my car is running nice and smooth without any problems.

With appointments, it still takes over 3 hr for an oil change. Plus, there is no alignment even though it shows on the website. Need better customer experiences and expectations.

Went in for a patch and got told that I needed new tires. That they couldn't patch my tires since it was low on thread. That's how they make you waste more money. Went to a different shop and it was faster than them telling me they couldn't do it.

Was a walk in didn t have an appointment and they took care of me right away. Everyone was super friendly and ready to help me with whatever I needed. Most definately would recomend them for all your car care needs.

Vanessa was very helpful, and Armando did everything necessary and was determined to get my ac running again. They were both very honest and professional keeping me informed at every step and also making me aware of other issues that needed to be addressed.

Kings canyon location is very gloomy and rude. I would not go back. I'll stick the the one I usually go to. It took 4 hours for nothing to be done to my car. I asked for services which were not completed and I was told I didn't have lifetime purchases that I know I purchased. Came home I have all the paperwork/reciepts showing i did in fact purchase what I said I did. The service advisor made it seem like the job I was asking to be done was too much to ask. He seemed annoyed like I was trying to get free services.

Terrible came in to change a battery 3 hours later didn't even start on it. Apparently they wouldn't know how to do anything without asking a computer first. 30min job come back tomorrow. Would avoid avoid avoid

Armando the mechanic adviser has to learn to smile, and learn to have empathy whit customers , his role is to help customer to understand the situations of the car condition and how is gonna be fixed the car , seem he has to many experience in mechanic , but he has to learn how to use this skills to learn and explain the customer what is gonna happens

I have nothing but respect for the Pep Boys/Advance Auto on Kings Canyon & Clovis ave, I went in with no appointment knowing I might be there awhile it wasn't that long of a wait, BUT... what totally shocked me was when I went up to pay my bill the lady said 25 cents I was definitely confused, I was expecting $50.00 to $100.00 it was a simple fix, they could have easily have charged me a whole lot more, it sure is nice to know that there is a place that still has integrity, they have my business permanently

took my husbands car in for an oil change and they stated they couldn t change it bc the oil pan was empty and had a leak that needed to be repaired. proceeded to change it ourselves and car has been holding oil just fine without a leak insight. then took my car in for an oil change to save us time time and they tell me my battery and brakes are all bad and need to be replaced and quote me for the repairs, i decline. i go to autozone and have my battery tested, everything s fine. check my brake pads they re halfway. pep boys out here trynna scam people for their money, go to Auto Repair Specialists on belmont if you live in this area and avoid this pep boys at all costs.

I took my car in to have tires rotated and passenger rear tire inspected due to slow pressure lossthey said I had a nail but could be fixed. I paid for the repair and trusted all work was done.next day the same tire was going flat again! which told me my tires had NOT been rotated.2nd visit same tire, I was told I picked up another nail. I paid for this repair too. 2 days later same tire same issue!3rd visit same tire was told that they weren't sure THE BOLT patch was gonna hold and wanted me to buy another tire from them for 120. making the 50 I gave them to repair it twice a waste of money.the little manager was rude and smug and said that was the best he could do OR he could just drop my car and u could go somewhere else.so I did!they lost my business forever and I will never recommend them to anyone.

$359 for 1 tire!! Seems like price gouging to me. I came in for a tire check I have a leak in one of them. I know I may need new tires, I don't have the money. They refused to even look at it. Never going back there again

I would recommend going somewhere else. Unless you have scheduled out an appointment ahead of time and even still you could be waiting a while, I would go elsewhere. If you are showing up for an oil change and if you ask "how long would this take?" Which isn't a rude question it's an honest one you'd ask, how long will this take? And if their response is "a few hours but it'll be done before we close" that is casting a very wide net and you don't expect to be told that at 8:30am. An hour yes but a few? I mean thank you for your time sir but I didn't come here to have breakfast and lunch and tour the scenery there and take in the sites of what run down business's and seeing people carrying their items in carts cause they have no where to sleep, course I could go and stay inside and just bask as I inhale all the smell the tires have to offer and hope they have a air freshener I can hang on my visor cause that smell ain't coming off me for a while. Nice guy but nope take your time somewhere else unless you have so much that you can pass away hours and not care. The rest of us in the real world will be going somewhere else thank you

Great place to buy tires. Read your receipt they now Offer roadside assistance if you purchase tires through them. Read your receipt you have so much time to respond

Stay away, I am a mechanic by trade and was turned away from having an alignment because they said my 1990 toyota pick up was modified, the thing is the truck is an old workhorse, really beat up. It has zero done to it other than aftermarket wheels.

Went in for a tire repair yesterday. At first the man at the desk seemed nice. I was relieved that the tire could indeed be repaired. After a bit a young man came in asking for an Uber and Lyft inspection. I ve been a driver for years and told the young man he can use a Lyft inspection for both platforms. The kid was relieved because money is tight. The man at the desk got mad that I was helping the kid and said it s against Pep Boys policy to let customers use a Lyft inspection for both Lyft and Uber. I let him know that it s up to the companies to decide what happens with a Lyft inspection once it s done, not him. He kept arguing and saying no and the kid kept asking for just a Lyft inspection now and the guy kept arguing. He was determined to charge for both inspections even though the young man only needed Lyft. It got tense and was really embarrassing as other customers were present. He was bound and determined to charge the kid for things he didn t need. If he d do that over $20, what else will he over charge for? When I went to pay for the tire repair I asked for my Lyft/Uber discount. His exact words were I mean, it s only a 10% discount but okay . It may only be $2 but still, it s $2 I could use somewhere else. Im disabled and driving is my only income so every dollar counts. I get spectacular service at the West Shaw location and I ll continue to go there but I will never return to this location.
