I recently took my car in to get the control arms, ball joints, and outer tie rods replaced and overall I received great customer service by Javier and the crew. Pricing was in the range I expected. They didn't hesitate to inspect my car a second time at no cost since I noticed a slight shaking of the steering wheel. I greatly appreciated their recommendation to get my tires rebalanced as this solved the shaking issue. If possible, call a few days in advance to schedule an appointment since they tend to be busy.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Javier s the man. Very fair friendly and as the names says, honest. More than once has he saved me a lot of money telling me when I didn t need a particular service or fix when the dealership was trying to upsell me. I take all my cars to him and as someone who is not mechanic inclined I have no worries when they re in his hands.

We just had an amazing experience. They were one of the only places willing to look at my car and the mechanic and Jesse were completely honest about the solution. Jesse and Javier were very professional with all of the customers that came in while we were waiting. Although this was an unfixable problem this time we will absolutely be back to them with all of our future auto needs. Great shop!Service: General repairs & maintenance

The Name says it all .. Very knowledgeable, professional, friendly & can t forget HONEST mechanics. Exactly one year ago they resurfaced the rotors and replaced all my brakes on my truck, excellent work and fast. So now Ive returned so they could replace the solenoid pack in my tucks transmission. Same day in and out !! My truck drives like new now. I ve found my mechanic for all my future vehicles needs, give them a try and you won t regret it. Love these guys. Their name is their bond. They worked through a problem with my daughters car and made sure they got it right. Cannot recommend them more!Back again with a different vehicle and the care taken is above and beyond. They do a great job with excellent service because they get it. I highly recommend this place I had my car at the dealer for almost 2 months they couldn t figure out what was wrong with my car finally give up on the dealer brought it here at this shop in less than a week they fixed it Javier the owner very honest person and very good costumer service thank you definitely bringing all my cars here

I got my thermostat changed here about 2 months ago and it costed about $300, the problem wasn t even fixed and my car drove worse. It wasn t until this week that a new mechanic found that a hose was disconnected which is why my car was overheating. They did have good customer service, but that was it.

Javier is the best! This will sound lame but the name does say it all. We have been sending ALL our cars to Honesty for over 8 years. Never an issue. Javier always explains exactly what s going on and never pulls punches. I ve told him many times his business could be 10 times the size it is now because he s so good, but he values his family too much to sacrifice that. Feel confident taking your car to him...he will treat you right!

My hood was not opening, I called them and they were able to get me back right away, they took me back right away and it turned out the cable going to my hood had disconnected, they fixed it in less than 20 minutes and aligned it so it wouldn't happen again. Didn't charge me anything! Will come back the next thing I need something on my car repaired!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I couldn't be more happy with the service I got here. My dad in Colorado found Honesty online and insisted I went there...I needed both my axels fixed, they did it so fast, and as I was waiting I was talking w customers and the owner. I felt so welcomed. Prices were great. Place was amazingly clean. Honesty is where it's at. I will forever be a customer as long as I live here!

Been going to Javier for at least 8-9 years now. The most honest shop in Fresno. I've never felt like I've been overcharged or ripped off from them and have NEVER had problems with any of my cars after they fix them. Hands down BEST shop in Fresno/Clovis area.

Honesty Automotive is a wonderful place to take your car! It is so difficult to find a place that will be honest about what your car really needs. They took great care of me and my two little children while we waited, and fixed our car at an honest price. We were so impressed by the service we got, each time someone took the time out to explain what our car needed and why. I recommend you try them out!

After using Honesty Automotive for 10 + years now ! I thank its time for me to review. As far as i am concerned Honesty Auto is by far the best auto repair shop around. Inside the office is always filled with a positive attitude & great explanation of what is going on with your vehicle. The Guys in the shop are sharp on diagnostics and repair. I have thrown them problems with the 30 vehicles i manage at the work place and the techs know how to make the repairs in a timely manner. They have kept my fleet of construction trucks for many years now. And most of the personal vehicles of our team in the work place. We all give Honesty a 5 star rating !

Amazing people that work here. They were patient and sympathetic to the bad experiences we've had before with our transmission at another shop. They were honest and updated us and gave us options on what we wanted to have done. Definitely will be taking our vehicles here from now on! Thank you guys!

I cannot say enough good things about the guys at the shop. My sister and I have taken a few vehicles to these guys for almost a decade. Each time is a pleasant experience. The waiting area is clean and most importantly, I trust their work and their prices.I will continue to refer my friends and family since they really do treat me like a member of their family.

I had an older truck towed in to replace the inline fuel filter, get smogged, and some electrical work done. It had been sitting for a while, so I wasn't sure what else needed to be done. The owner was extremely honest, and had my truck in great running order without a lot of extra cost. He found my electrical problem and fixed it for very little cost. The total cost was more than fair, and the work was done well. Finding a good fair mechanic is tough, because you don't know what is really wrong when you take it in, and are at the mercy of the diagnosis. I have found the place I will always use, and feel very confident about his honesty and integrity. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. It is a great mechanic shop, and great people who work there.

I've been going here for 10years, always great service and I always recommended them.UNTIL THIS VISIT! Took my truck in last week for the ac blowing warm. 73.01 to check and advise what needs to be done. Called later in the day and said I needed to Schrader valves and an ac recharge. 320.00. They didn't get the parts in and I had to wait until today to get it finished. When I went to pick it up they said it was blowing cold and ready to go. Got inside and nothing but hot air. The owner said the pressure was good and didn't know why but had the tech check it. Came back that it all leaked out the compressor, so I needed a compressor. So the 73.01 to diagnose it turned into 320.00 to tell me the compressor was bad. If the freon leaked out of the compressor within the hour after charging it I believe that should have been noticed prior. For 10 years I recommended Javier and his place. I dont know if its new techs or what but a 320.00 charge and 2 days to tell me the compressor is bad i think that should have been found out from the get go. After 10 years ill be looking for another repair shop.

I have had my cars serviced from Honesty for over six years and have been very pleased with the service and friendly atmosphere owner Javier and his crew provide. His hospitable personality combined with the quality service has made this a place I can trust in times of "auto crisis" situations.

We have been using Honesty Automotive for about 6 years now...family, friends and co-workers now take their autos there too. Javier is honest and trustworthy. My son inlaw took his really old honda in and Javier advised him not to fix it as the cars worth wasn't worth the repairs. ..he then took it to another mechanic who wanted to charge him over three thousand dollars to repair it...I can honestly say he is a great guy and mechanic!

Javier is always forthright and sincere. He doesn't try to up sale you. I don't know much about car repair, but my husband does and my brother in law who owns A.R.E. (NAPA) in Porterville, he recommended Honesty to me. Even though it's a bit of a drive from where I live, it's worth it! Thanks Honesty for living up to your name.

I'm a single mother of two teenagers and I always know I can trust Javier to fix my car (2004 Chevy Tahoe) and not get swindled. As a female who doesn't know much about autos I have been told by other places (in the past) that my Tahoe needed things done to the engine that were not necessary. My Tahoe still runs great and I just passed over 110,000 miles. Javier is always quick to get me in to the shop within a day or two, he's super friendly, has fantastic mechanics working for him, but most of all, Javier Gadea is honest. The name of his business truly fits his personality and his automotive mechanical work. New car, or older car, Javier is the man to trust and get the job done without having to take out a small loan to pay for it.Once again, during the first week of January 2015, Javier came through for me with flying colors! I had to have my car towed in to Honesty Automotive at 12:00 noon (Javier gave me the name of a trustworthy tow company), Javier fixed it up and it was drivable by 7:00 that night and totally inexpensive for having to have been towed. I cannot boast enough about how "Honest, Good, & Quick" Javier and Honesty Automotive have been to me.
