Aweful service. They don't care about the community. Cheaper to go to bear river gas station at least .50 cents. Don't go.

This review is for the Fortuna Renner station, which still carries Ultra Low Sulphur #2 Diesel. B20 (which is increasingly found at pumps instead) is not advised by modern European Turbo Diesel vehicle manufacturers, as it will attract higher amounts of humidity from the air compared with #2 Diesel, which will inadvertantly (in small amounts) get into the oil pan. That moisture will cause damage to the engine over time, voiding the warranty of your car (VW and Daimler Benz allow max. 5% Biodiesel, which is the standard for #2 Diesel in California). Although, I like my efficient fuel mileage, and high engine longevity, I am not looking forward to risking expensive engine repairs/swaps on my vehicles.

Renner petroleum has by far the lowest cost fuel in Humboldt County. You can by a rechargeable card or have a monthly account. This particular station has no services. It is strictly industrial. The price is not even on the pump. Most Renner stations now accept credit cards but not this one. An advantage to getting a monthly account is that you get a CFN (Commercial Fueling Network) card that allows you to fuel at all sorts of truck stops along with retail stations. I have fueled up in Oregon where you have to have your gas pumped by an attendant. With the CFN card you can go to a CFN commercial facility and pump your own at 25 cents less.

I'm just a guy who likes good service. Cameron Renner Was in the same officer candidate class as my son. I just like pulling into the pumps and taking care of business.

Almost every time I go there, the pump keeps shutting off. Doesn't matter which one, I get so frustrated because I can't get a full tank.

Live right by there so I get my gas there all the time. Never wait in line.
