Don't go to this company for smok project. I just didn't read the reviews and chose this company because my car has been parked for six months. My car has changed the battery and traveled more than ten miles. After testing, it said that the ecu was not turned on to record the oxidation sensor data. Let the car run for another 100 miles before doing it! My car was replaced with a brand new Toyota three-source catalytic converter last year, and the engine has no fault code. My car has not paid the registration fee, how can it travel 100 miles? Other customers' comments also have this problem! fore doing it! It was quick despite few more cars in line waiting for their turn. All done within 30 minutes. 2 bays were operating simultaneously so the wait time was not bad. Small but neat waiting area. Nothing much to interact with operators as they know what they do best. Dont forget to show the coupon either on your phone or print out for $10 discount. They transmit the smog test results to DMV online besides giving a printed copy. Allow 1 to 2 business days before paying the license plate renewal fee at DMV if you pay online to allow sufficient time for DMV to receive your cars smog test results. Quick quack car wash service exists next door for a quick wash after smog check. This was my first time at this location and I would go there again. Great service overall. (Went there on a Saturday at noon).

Wonderful service! The person who serviced was very helpful and communicative. I would highly recommend this place because how smoothly you can be Ina and out. They have a small refreshments area as well.

This my first time getting smog check. I didn t know what to expect. But it was quick and easy! I pulled into one of their empty spots, gave the technician my keys, he took down my mileage, and then had me go to the waiting room. There I gave them my renewal notice and told them information they needed. It wasn t bad. I thought I was going to be here for thirty minutes. But nope, I don t remember how much time has passed but I thought it was funny that I assumed I would fail. I would return here if necessary and recommend this place to friends. Everyone was nice and helpful.

The first time I visit this business and when they finish the test, I wasn't informed that my vehicle did not pass because something called an OBDII monitor not being ready. When I called back, to ask them about it, although they did apologize, I was told to run the car for 100 miles before coming back to take the test again. I did not appreciate that too much.Service: Smog certification

Went in for a smog a few weeks ago. I just moved from Nevada. The shop manager and staff are very professional and my smog was done in about 15 minutes. What I did notice is that the other customers are very rude and in a big hurry ! Do most people here in California tell their dentist to hurry up and that they are in a hurry ? So far they have done both of my cars from out of state and I would recommend them ! Thanks for being professional Smog N Go Folsom !Services: Out-of-state, Smog certification

Got my smog check performed at this business this morning. The young man at the front desk was great with the intake process and the Tech Christopher who performed the smog check also performed visual inspection patiently and thoroughly. Have used the Folsom Smog 'N Go 3x, since moving to the area in 2021. Everything but fast in and out!!! The beard angry guy, the tech, very rude! I will definitely not come to this smog/ inspection chain again. Seems like the tech performing the inspection will go out of his way to find something wrong with your car!!!!

The guys at the Folsom Smog 'N Go were awesome. I had failed my test at the one in Elk Grove but they couldn't show me the problem, I thought the PCV hose looked fine (but it wasn't) so I replaced the PCV valve which was pretty bad shape and took it to S'NG in Folsom and they were nicer and took the particular hose off and showed me. Above and beyond for a testing center. I had multiple issues when returning after replacing the hoses due to Folsom Lake Dodge service center disconnecting the battery which resets all your emissions data monitors and sensors so you have to drive between 50-100 miles of varrying conditions for the monitor data to be ready to transmit to the state. (OBD reader and and app like torque will tell you) Meanwhile I got pulled over by a CHP because of my tags being expired for 1yr 3mo (2020 tags still in my glove box DOH!) But officer was super nice since I produced last year's tags and I had google navigation up directing me to Folsom Smog 'N Go and because DMV showed I had registration paid just needed smog. We had a laugh due to perfect storm situation. In two years when I need to get smog done again hope all the people at S'NG will be as quick and helpful as I experienced these last couple weeks

They failed the guy before us 3 consecutive times for the pettiest little things. And they didn t even worn him all at once. They failed us for a tiny little crack on the edge of a hose. Waste of time. Don t go here. Rancho area has much more friendly and humane service with people who have common sense. These newbies here probably don t know a thing about engine mechanics and have as much insight on engines as a hair dresser

I will never go back here. It used to be a fast and friendly place to get a smog. I feel like they fail people on purpose based on my experience with smog inspections. I will probably be contacting B.A.R. about my recent experience with them. I know that quick accelerations and decelerations during the test will cause even the cleanest running vehicles to fail or gross pollute and that is exactly what they did to me. They wouldn't put the big fan in front of my vehicle when they were running it and told me that it was overheating. It was 100�+ outside at the time. Then they had the nerve to tell me that I probably just didn't notice it overheating because while driving the air flow is cooling the radiator and thus cooling the engine. Then when I asked why they didn't use the big fan that they use on every other vehicle, the guy couldn't give me a legit reason. I felt as though I was discriminated against. They failed every other white person that was in there during the times that I was there. The office/waiting room area was extremely dirty. Candy from the vending machine all over the floor, gross stains on the chairs. Very disappointed!

I tried to get my perfectly stock car smogged here and they failed me. I tried with three "retries" but still failed. So I took it to another shop and what do you know, I passed. One of the guys working seemed to have an attitude. Overall pretty bad service. I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to have their car smogged here.

In and out in no time. Courteous staff. Honored my online coupon. They were quick to inform me of a symptom that would likely lead to a failed test BEFORE charging me anything. Honest people are hard to come by, thank you Smog 'N Go!

Getting my smog here has been a quick and easy process with the aid of my renewal papers from the DMV. A simple exchange, handover of keys and 15 minutes of waiting and you're done. I appreciate all they've done

Failed my car on visual for a part that was not smog related. This place will find ANY excuse they can to fail you. The car had the same part on it when it was passed by them two years ago no problem. Lobby is dirty and employees are incompetent. Going to file a complaint with the BAR today.

Fairly fast service with friendly people. Get coupon online for discount. Not much around to occupy time, other than Ciro's Pizza, so bring reading material.

A basic smog check facility that prides itself on being a part of the CA Smart program. No appt required. Can be very busy, but is fairly efficient. No frills waiting area.

These people are awful! They will look for ANY reason to fail your smog test, no matter how inconsequential. I recommend you take your business elsewhere.

Fast service, good that they stay open till 6:00pm, but they cost $68 compared to many other places that are only around $40.
