Can t say enough great things about these guys and the shop itself. Called them to diagnose a problem that a different shop caused. They were able to get our car in quickly and were able to figure out what the problem in a short amount of time. They called us promptly to let us know what was happening with our car and then when the other shop tried to pull a fast one on us with a replacement part Folsom Werkstatt stuck up for us and made sure the other shop did the right thing with the replacement part. From start to finish these guys are truly top notch!

Gus and Ian have worked on several of my Mercedes' over the years. Always very quick, diagnosis is right on the money, and repair prices are extremely fair. Very high quality, at a fraction of what the dealer charges. If you have the opportunity to use their services, you won't be disappointed. Thanks guys!

Excellent service place for all my family Mercedes with a family touch. Ian and team are extremely professional and never over charge. Highly recommend, and stay away from the dealers who are there to get your money.

These guys are awesome. Extremely trustworthy. I brought my car in to take a look at some issues. I expected them to charge me as they spent at least a half an hour but they said they were not going to charge because they did not do anything. I have bringing my car to them for the last three years and I have been happy with their work.

I had been taking my cars to the dealership and another shop in Rocklin for the past 20 years. When service started getting suddenly expensive and deteriorating, I decided to find an alternative. I found Werkstatt..!! My first visit was recent, very pleasant. Took my S550 for radiator replacement. Work was done in a profesional and timely manner. Ian was courteous and informative. He even worked for at least 30 minutes on my car key and fixed it at no expense. Needles to say, I think I'm staying. Highly recommend Werkstatt..!!

My E320 Bluetec was due for 60K miles service. Folsom Werkstatt was the only place my husband trusted, and for many years (since the beginning of their business) we brought our cars there. Always have been satisfied with the service and personal touch. We recommended this place to our neighbors, and they were happy with the service too.Not sure what has changed, but my last visit left me quite disappointed. The fuel, air and cab filters have not been replaced, but unnecessary transmission flush performed. Trans flush was not even due for another 20K miles. According to Mercedes-Benz guidelines, the fuel, air and cab filters should be replaced at this mileage. Also, per work order, the engine oil has been changed, but not the oil filter. How is it possible, not to replace the oil filter after changing the oil? Now I really question if anything that listed in the work order has actually been performed. It looks like I have to change the oil again because I do not want the oil to run through the dirty oil filter.Reading the work order, I saw the comments that the drive belt has many cracks and needs replacement and the engine mounts leaking fluid. Nobody from the shop has called me and advised me on the problems. I got the car back without notification that it might be a dangerous to drive in such condition of a drive belt.Next morning, I stopped by and talked to Ian saying that this time I am not quite happy with the service. Without even asking me what the problem is, he says that if I m not happy we need to end the relationship and I m rude! What kind of attitude is that? I ve not used any bad words neither raised my voice. Later he texted my husband informing him that he had refunded the charge for not needed Trans flush.We ve been loyal customers for many years. I can t even call this service being lousy, because no expected service has been done.

I have been taking my Mercedes here for about a year. The prices are reasonable and definitely much cheaper than the dealership. Very honest and quality work. Highly recommend.

I've been a do it yourselfer for many, many years. Six months ago my passenger side HID headlight on my CLS550 went out. I bought pair of bulbs and planned to replace both headlights. The passenger side was difficult, but I got it done. The driver side however, looked impossible to do without removing the bumper. Needless to say, since it was working I left the old bulb in. Last month the driver side started to go out intermittently. I called Folsom Werkstatt and Ian said bring the car and your bulb in and we'll change it.Gus had it changed in about 15 minutes, the cost to me was way, way beyond reasonable! I will definitely be back and I highly recommend Folsom Werkstatt.

Great & honest service. May be smaller compared to other local German car repair shops, but comes with excellent knowledge and individual analysis what's right or wrong with your car.

Very disappointed with Folsom WerkStatt's, Ian Kinnaird is a dishonest man - I wasted my time and money here and got poor customer service! Read Vera's detailed review below, I had similarly disappointing experience - can't recommend this place.
