My 10K service came due while I was traveling. Easily made a reservation with Folsom Lake and moved forward. I was the first appointment of the day and was met by a friendly and energetic young lady, Laura T., who treated me like I was a long-time customer. She got things going and gave me a tour of the facility so I'd be comfortable while waiting. I was back on the road shortly. I truly appreciate Laura's help and demeanor, in my opinion she is an asset to the dealership.

Against my better judgement I took my 2022 Tacoma in for the free oil change included with the purchase of the vehicle. I always do my own services because I don t trust that they will do a good job and I know I will. Well, they didn t do a good job. They damage my oil filter housing AND way over tightened it. The manager Austin did give me a replacement for free, but I did not receive an apology. The receptionist on the phone was very rude to me when I called in with the problem, very quickly dismissing my call to voicemail. I will never be back here for a service or anything else. I will buy my parts, oil, etc elsewhere.

Jim McMullen took care of me for my oil change. He is a very friendly guy and you can tell he is honest. He didn t try to rip me off or sell me things I didn t need. He was just straight with the facts. I do need a brake change soon, and will go with him at my next service appointment.I went to Folsom Lake Toyota a few years back, but haven t been back until yesterday. The last time I was there, I spent over $1,000 and I felt like the service advisor was being way too pushy to sell things I didn t need. I kept seeing the service advisors emails for service specials, but did not feel comfortable coming back. In fact, I told myself I would never come back. I went yesterday, hoping I would get a different service advisor, What a relief yesterday s experience was, and it appears the first service advisor I went to is no longer there. I will be going with Jim from now on.

Great experience here with Austin in Service. I was greeted by multiple other friendly employees who offered me refreshments inside. They were able to help me even though I didn t have an appointment which I really appreciated. One thing to note was originally I didn t realize that parts and service were not at the same location as the New car department, but they gave me directions on how to get to Service and Parts which was only a few minutes down the road.

They only have 1 used car service advisor. To this day I still haven't received any call back from them and I left a handful of voicemails to get my car scheduled to fix.My newly bought used car sat unused, as it was not safe to drive. After not receiving any call backs and constant calling for about a week, I ultimately decided I do not want to conduct business to anyone that treats it's customer this way, I don't care if it's free (repairs were covered under warranty). I decided to pay out of pocket to have my vehicle repaired elsewhere.I have no issues with the dealer, it's just this service center, particularly the used car advisor. If that service advisor, which I won't name any names, truly is busy to call me back for a 1 min conversation, then please hire more used car service advisors.

Gabe Ferges, Service Advisor has been exceptionally helpful with my warranty repair. From the moment I checked in for my appointment, Gabe was courteous, efficient & he provided solid support to me. He is professional, friendly & knowledgeable, in addition to giving me peace of mind that my vehicle was in good hands. Gabe kept me informed, answering all of my questions & concerns in a timely manner. I appreciate the valuable customer service I received from Gabe F. at Folsom Lake Toyota Service department.

The service appointment scheduled for 9:45 AM was overbooked, resulting in an extended wait time of over 30 minutes before a service writer became available. Despite this inconvenience, a complimentary Lyft ride home was offered as a gesture of goodwill. The 2012 Prius received servicing without any issues, and a $25 discount was applied to the final bill.

I will give them 1 because I m not without having an experience that did work in my favor in the past , but now I wouldn t refer anyone here. I warn you of snotty people who somehow think they don t have to treat people with respect. After almost losing my cool being told it was going to be 2 days for the work to get done after scheduling my appointment and being told it would be 3-4 hours, I got in line for a loaner/rental which doesn t seem like that big of an ordeal, but I drove from Modesto where my hand controls were installed to a hotel for the night thinking I would get the car back the next afternoon. It was over $400 dollars in gas and accommodations to get nothing but lied to by all involved at the service center. I m an amputee from a fall I had 7 years ago so this was a business who doesn t even care for the disabled people who buy brand new trucks and I had more than I could take and the dealerships management was more than accommodating called and assured me I would have my truck that I actually bought for my lady who stood by my side during the injury as a gift. As it turns out the dealership just got in another truck that I just couldn t pass up. Only to see my lady pull in with the wrong equipment installed, while I signed paper work for another. Feeling as if this service center was really just trying to make it perfectly clear they had no intention us my gift turning out the way it was meant to be. I have nothing good to say , but I will be reaching out to Toyota so they know what a clown shoe , circus act this place is . God help me if they don t get it right a third time !

Never again. Twenty minute wait to check my vehicle in for a basic service, even with an appointment. Twenty minute wait for service advisor to get my keys and pay the bill. I asked reception to check out and was told to wait on my service advisor because he had the keys. I guess he s the only guy qualified to do it? 3 1/2 hrs for oil change and tire rotation. Tech recommended new air and cabin air filter , even though I told them it had been done the week before. Just comical. Go anywhere but here. There s too many better options.

I'm frustrated because Folsom Lake Toyota sent me a $19.99 oil change offer expiring on 11/26/2023, but I could only book it for Monday, 11/27/2023. Despite confirming over the phone that the coupon would be accepted, they refused to honor it when I arrived for service. This is unacceptable.

Newest update. I finally got in touch with Austin, their service manager. I was told they installed an aftermarket rack and pinion (I was never advised of that), it has a lifetime warranty and he said he'd call me back the next day with the process to get it resolved. I also asked for an email confirming our conversation. This was Monday. It's now Thursday night, no call, no email and two unanswered voicemails. The saga continues and my truck is still screwed up!**Update**The rack and pinion failure has been confirmed by another Toyota dealership but the original dealership that installed it (Folsom Lake) apparently has to be the one to address it(?). I contacted Toyota Care 2/9 and was told I would be contacted by 2/12. I still have yet to be called by Folsom Lake and it's now the 14th. This was escalated on Monday to a manager named Austin at Folsom Lake, who has failed to respond. A rack and pinion isnt a cheap part or install and absolutely should not be failing within 2 years. I'm still waiting for a company that is known for reliability to do the right thing and replace it. What a joke....*****DO NOT trust this dealership with your vehicle! The last 3 times I've gone there I've had issues. One time I was charged for something that was never done (brake flush). Before that they didn't put all the bolts back that were removed for an undercarriage skid plate. This last time I brought my truck in because I was driving 2500 miles across country and wanted to make sure everything was good to go. They failed to inform me the rack and pinion they recently replaced is already leaking, they again forgot to put all the bolts they removed back and I may have additional damage due to the bolts not being put back and the plate slamming around. I figured after the first issues they might've been a little more thorough, but apparently not. My mistake for trusting their service center after the previous issues. I'll never, ever use this dealership again. I really hope someone else doesn't experience the same issues and get hurt due to their negligence!

Brought my Girlfriends new car in for the complimentary oil change and tire rotation. They scratched the clearbra in two places and offered nothing but a sorry. I called back looking around for someone to install a hitch receiver on my car because the bumper needs to be removed I did not want to do it myself. They gave me a quote and when I called back to schedule it they quoted me $300 more and when I requested to speak with a service advisor I got hung up on three times and transfered to a completely different dealership another time. Eventually they told me they would have an advisor call me back. It's been a week and no one has called me back. I'm just gonna do it myself at this point but trying to call into parts to check availability of the part has been a waste if time as well since everytime I call I sit on hold for 10 minutes before giving up. I don't know why I've continued trying to give them money but it's like they don't even want it. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else

I've used this location 4 times for maintenance and I can say appointments mean nothing so don't bother. I leave it and head to work and an oil change still somehow takes 9 hours and Im waiting on it. My goal was the convenience but as it's not actually convenient at all, I recommend hitting mom and pop shops near your home so you won't end up hanging out in the lobby like I have, for way longer than I should, on basic maintenance for a booked appointment and 9 hours of time to do anything.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Never taking my car here again. Bad sales when you go to get a service. Didn t even look at my service plan through Toyota. Marked up a service order for $1k on top of the service plan I m purchasing through Toyota. My car is 1 year old and in pristine condition. They re not even good at selling it. Snakey inexperienced salesmen pretending to be service writers. Id rather drive an hour out of my way to Hanlee s rather than go here. They make you opt out of their additional services like 3 times in hopes that one of those times you ll accidentally click yes (through a third party app/website nonetheless), and then you owe them money. Any other shop would call you if any additional work were required. These guys send you a shady link, and then wait for you to make your selection/signature before doing anything at all. Again, in hopes of you accidentally clicking yes to their bogus additional services. These are borderline predatory business practices meant to trap people into coughing up dough for things they don t even need.Hey, but at least they ll meet you at your door when you pull up. lol what an absolute joke.

First time here, it was a great experience. Will come back.Scheduled a same day appt over the phone. There were several appts available. The entire place was easy to find. When I arrived, someone arrived at my car window within 20 seconds. After about 5 minutes, someone called me into the office to talk about what needed servicing today. Then I had the option to wait, get a complimentary shuttle ride (10 mi radius), or leave. I waited in the lobby area which had plenty of seating and was comfortable. There is a parts store attached so if you need anything for your car, then it would be there.I received a text when a mechanic looked at my car and had some additional recommendations. You follow a link to update what you want to do. Not sure if that worked because my representative texted me asking what I wanted to do, so I just responded by text.Overall the whole process was smooth, quick (within the time limit that they estimated), and pleasant. Everyone was pretty honest. I will return for further car things in the future!

Michael St. Pierre AKA "Rocky" provided the most exceptional customer service. This was my first service with my 2015 Toyota Tundra, and I had initially brought in my vehicle for a oil change. Since this was my first service since owning the vehicle, I wanted to be sure I had a multi point inspection completed. Though an oil leak was found near the cam towers by the engine, I was very happy to hear the seals were covered under my existing extended warranty. Rocky was sure to keep me updated throughout the entire warranty process to have the repairs covered. While my vehicle was in the shop for 11 days, I was able to have an rental vehicle for the weekend while the service was completed. I'm thoroughly impressed with all of the staff and the technician that worked on my vehicle. I am looking for to having future services at Folsom Lake Toyota for my family and I with all of our vehicles. Best regards, Matt

Laura, my service advisor, was very thorough and addressed my concerns about my truck vibrating when the brakes were applied. She had the service tech do a road test and they agreed that the brakes on the truck had gone bad in addition to having a bad center bearing. All the servicing and repairs were done in one day and she provided me with a loaner vehicle so I wouldn't be without a vehicle during the day.If I could, I'd give more stars and 2 thumbs up to the service team!!Photo of loaner.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Brake service & repair, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

Service writers are polite and friendly. I don't have much faith in the mechanics. A diagonal rotation of my radial tires??? And Roseville or Folsom neither was able to "fix" the wires dangling above the pedals on the driver's side. Twice a stuff and tuck that promptly fell back out. Twice I asked them to zip tie them up. Apparently they are unaware of such advanced technology, or they save 4 dollars a year not using them... unknown.

Peter at Folsom Lake Toyota Service Center is absolutely the best!! He always has my best interests in mind when offering suggestions about services I would benefit from on my vehicles. He is always forthright and never tries to sell me something unnecessary but is quick to let me know what I can do to keep my vehicles in tip top shape. He is very transparent and extremely knowledgeable. He listens well and communicates clearly, which I really appreciate. Thanks Peter for always taking care of me!!

This place is slow as hell for maintenance. The time they promise is never the time they will give the car back. Started going to Roseville Toyota and they return the car at or before the scheduled time.

I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation at 4:30pm on 6/29/19 (Sat.). The service adviser Michael was very professional. After waiting for almost 2hrs, I picked my car up. While on the way home I notice there's a crack on my windshield from the top to where the rear view mirror is installed. Then I drove back but the office was closed. Before I dropped it off the windshield was intact without any cracks. There must have been something that happened while my car was under their custody. I had a rock chip for over 8 years at the bottom but don't think I had a rock chip over there before cracking. I am not sure if the mechanic accidentally caused it. This is really bad experience. They claimed that cameras are installed everywhere. I took my car back on 7/1/19 (Mon.) in hopes of finding the reason. I will update the progress of the case in the following days.As of 9/5/19, no response has been made from this service department. I am very disappointed. Now the crack is extended to the half of windshield. I am done with this service dept. and won't return for any service any longer.

Let's start with the fact that I am the owner of 3 Toyotas, 2 of which are still under warranty. My new 2022 Sienna with only 18k miles on it won't start. I decided to tow it to the Toyota Folsom station closest to my house. From the very beginning, I realized that something was wrong with this service center because they asked me to pay $1000 for diagnostics, although I explained that the car was new and still under warranty, to which I received an explanation that if it was confirmed that the problem would be solved under warranty, then I would be ok I won't pay. As expected, after 3 days they explained to me that the repairs would cost an additional $3,000!!! Took my car back with tow truck. The whole experience with this service is just a disaster, never come here, don't do anything with them!!! You will be scammed!

Brought in vehicle for routine maintenance and a punctured tire. Maintenance was performed fine with no issues. But the tire wasn't fixed, just aired and rotated. I came in a second time when I realized it wasn't fixed and they took my vehicle while I waited. When I went to go see how it was doing, the man I'd been working with was with another customer but he handed me my keys and maintenance record without a word, then went to his other customer. I took this to mean the work was completed. I Iater realized this meant that I declined service that he had listed on the sheet. It took a third visit, this one overnight, to get the issue fixed. Overall more than 10 hours of my family's time has been spent on a nail in a tire.Services: Tires, Auto maintenance

I took my 4Runner in for an oil and filter change on one occasion and a steering wheel repair on another occasion. Both times were a very pleasant experience with Laura Torres. She does not brush you off, like most service advisors in the car repair industry. She is very humble and shows she cares about your service by going above and beyond what other advisors do. For instance, during my oil and filter change she communicated with me the entire time and gave me regular updates on when my vehicle would be ready for pick up. Laura was very responsive through text message. Then for my steering wheel repair she made sure the repair was covered through warranty prior to having the techs work on the issue. After the steering wheel was repaired, she showed me a video of what was causing the noise in the steering wheel (the counter weight). I have never had a service advisor ever show me a video of the repair process. That went above and beyond and solidified her credibility in my mind. After I got my car, the next day she followed up with me to make sure my vehicle was running in proper order. I was hesitant going to Folsom Lake Toyota Service based on prior reviews, but once I went through Laura I was reassured I was in good hands. I'll continue to go through her for future services and highly recommend her.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

I ve always owned Toyotas and been servicing here for many years, but I ve never had a go to service advisor until I worked with Danny Cross. He s honest and straight forward and always very clear on cost & timing expectations. Even when working on my highly modified Tacoma, he communicates well with the technicians and is able to clearly articulate exactly what s going on to get things fixed up. Thanks Danny and thanks Folsom Lake Toyota!
