Just wanted to give a shout out to the crew here at Bidwell Auto. I recently picked up a used high mileage tundra and needed a timing belt/water pump and suspension/tires. They installed a 2 inch lift on it for me to help clear the tires and now it rides awesome.I was very grateful for how helpful Steve and Brandon were in helping me get the parts all replaced in the best and most cost effective manner. I definitely would not hesitate to recommend and have sent other friends/family here.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

These guys at Bidwell Automotive are awesome. My wife and I were stranded because our Camry had zero electrical power. We walked to Bidwell Automotive and explained our situation. The owner himself immediately stopped eating his lunch and started gathering his tools to come to our aid. After a quick fix of an electrical wire, we were on our way home. This guy would not accept any money from me. Our experience with the owner and his staff was not only very pleasant but you can tell these guys are just honest people. We are new to the Folsom area so this was a blessing to learn about this place. Bidwell Automotive is our new shop now!

These guys keep coming through for me with excellent no nonsense service. I like the way they treat their customers when I over hear them helping others and I always feel like they are transparent and give fair pricing. I will keep coming back.

AMAZING! Art and his team are amazing. My daughters car was at the dealership for a recall and a diagnostic testing of recent power loss. The dealership just plugged the car into the computer, charged me $200, and wouldn't investigate anything beyond what the computer said. I felt their suggestion was not the answer to the problem. I called Bidwell Automotive because I read their reviews and I'm so grateful that I did. Art, the owner, answered and I explained my issue. He went above and beyond to take our car in and within the day he had actually diagnosed the issue and had the parts to fix it. He and his team are trained and true mechanics. Their prices are incredibly fair and they genuinely want to provide the best service for their customers. We live about an hour away but will be bringing all my vehicles to them for all our needs in the future because I can trust they will always treat me fairly and with honesty.Services: Exhaust, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

My wife and i just moved to the area about a year ago and we needed some work done on our cars and happened upon Bidwells and Art and Brandon have been great to work with. Various car and truck repairs and all done timely, always get us into the shop in a reasonable amount of time. Friendly, fast, honest, and affordable! I needed the thermostat replaced on my Grand Cherokee and had called in for a quote in the morning. Not only were these guys incredibly affordable, but they were also able to service my vehicle the same day. I ve had best experience at Bidwell Automotive Inc. Art is an amazing personality and great at his profession. I needed some welding work for my son s car and he did it for free! I definitely recommend this place for any auto repair needs and I would certainly be back.

I made my decision to use Bidwell Automotive based on Google's reviews. The 5.0 got my attention. I made the call, got scheduled, and showed up to a friendly, customer orientated staff that got the work done in a timely and cost effective manner. I wasn't aware the shop did non-tire/wheel related work until I asked. I had a 90% self-repair that needed 10% help by the professionals. I was pleasantly surprised they finished the job and didn't charge me. This is why I will return when maintenance is due on my vehicles. Great to find a repair shop that is honest and willing to help. I had a check engine light from oxygen sensor. Turned out thieves almost got away with the catalytic converter and cut the sensor wire. The shop welded and replaced the oxygen sensor. This was all done within 3 hours. Lastly, they gave me a discount, since the job was done quicker than expected!!! Wow. Never had a repair shop that is this HONEST.

Went there today for the first time with my 2010 Lexus is250 with 175,00 miles on it...it was great service and prices that are very fair and less than some previous quotes I got else where...I would for sure recommend this shop for repairs or oil changes and Brandon who helped me, could not have been more friendly.

My Honda Odyssey third row seat latch got struck and seat does not close completely. I had a travel plan and need this seat to close to carry luggage for travel. I had walked in this morning without appointment and requested if they can help me with latch issue. They helped me immediately with out any charge. Would definitely go to this shop later for permanent fixing of latch and i certainly recommend this shop to others. Thank you!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

So I brought my car into the dealership for a annual check and they diagnosed that I needed new rotors and pads on my rear brakes and a new set of tires. They gave me an outrageous quote so I decided to head to Bidwell automotive on a recommendation. Art was super helpful and immediately took care of me the second I walked through the doors. They were super fast and brought my car into the garage within 10 minutes of arrival. They even found that my ebrake pad was worn down and showed me in the garage. They did not force anything on me but in the end I decided to get that fixed as well. They gave me a much better quote than the dealership on the rotors, pads, and a new set of tires. Even compared to the cost of parts at an autoshop they had around the same prices, and gave me a good deal on the labor. I arrived around 2 pm and they had it ready to be picked up the same day, but I decided to pick it up in the morning. Art was one of the best I have ever interacted with at a automotive shop. I am super pleased with my service and will be coming back here for any car needs. It is a family owned business and the customer service was much better because of this.

Been taking my car here since I had a job in the area. Even though I've changed jobs and it's 30 minutes away from my home I will always bring my car to bidwell automotive. Art and his crew have always taken good care of me and I know that when I leave there I'm good to go! Highly recommend

I had an amazing experience. My check engine light was on and my car was acting funny... So I went to the shop and they immediately diagnosed the problem. They had the parts on hand and they fixed it the same day. I'm super satisfied with my experience. I will recommend this place to anyone and was very happy with the professional and the good energy there. I arrived very stressed, and left very relieved. These guys are great! This was my 1st time going to this shop as I was recommended by a friend and in a tight squeeze Bidwell Automotive Inc definitely delivered. I just needed a starter in my car and the car starts up hella smooth and quick, just like new, and was done in a very reasonable amount of time. Art is a great guy and the price he gave me was fair and Kev-O the mechanic who worked on my car did a great job.I'll definitely be back here for sure!Great Job!

This is the Best place to get your car fixed!!! The new owner is amazing! I brought my mustang in because the signal light wasn't working. They immediately started to work on my car. The guys checked it & showed me that it wasn't the light bulb, but a possible faulty socket. They got it working again and told me they can change out the socket if it keeps shorting out. They didn't charge me! The old owners did a great job at finding new owners that are honest & great people that treat you like family! I cannot say enough great things about this auto shop. I am so happy I have an honest & trustworthy place to take my cars.

I've been here twice and won't be going anywhere else in Folsom! I had my brakes repaired last August by Bidwell Automotive and came back for a different problem, but it still affected my brakes. They covered the costs for new brakes using a warranty that they could have easily hidden from me. They're honest and can get you in and out of the door quickly. They finished the diagnostics and repair in one afternoon. Also, they've explained problems to me using actual car parts. The best service ever experienced! Art was informative, honest and patient with my unexpected flat tire. He offered excellent service early Saturday morning. When my towing service was taking too long to arrive, Art made the extra effort to meet me where my car had the flat tire down the street from his shop. Art was incredible! He was super nice and genuine as well as being very knowledgeable. He made me feel really comfortable about the repairs needed on my car and gave his honest opinion on the safety and reality of if it would be fixable. Happy to say my car is running like a dream! I had a pretty large sized dent on my front bumper, and wanted it to be fixed asap. I was able to bring it in at opening and get it again right after work with no issues or hassles. I'm so pleased with this place!!As a woman, often times I feel that the prices are always quoted higher, when it comes to motor vehicles and shops...Took my car elsewhere in Folsom that I was having some issues with. I just wanted to get an idea what it would cost to fix it. I didn't care for the quote that I received. I notices this new shop that used to be I believe a tire shop. Figured I should try this place as well before I make my decision. I'm so glad I did, got a better quote and quality work done .I was greeted by the new owner Art, he is also a Folsom resident, has 2 little girls that he adores. Right away I felt that he was all about costumer satisfaction. He was very knowledgeable answered all my questions. Simply a humble man that won't rip you off, for sure!I'm very pleased with everything. I won't be shopping around anymore when it comes to our cars. This shop pretty much does everything. Often times it's wise to check out the new place in town. I'm just so glad I did.

Since the first time I brought one of our cars to Bidwell Automotive, Art has been nothing but honest, timely, and very competent. He's been great with explaining the issues and the costs are very fair and competitive. But the biggest value is his honesty and timeliness. Highly recommend!

Good customer service. Art was friendly, honest, and gave us a good discount because we had quite a few repairs to be done. He helpfully explained what was done to the vehicle. They seem to have good policies here. 2014 Hyundai Elantra with damaged steering fixed in a timely manner. Very satisfied. I'm sure we will return.

I do 95% of my own mechanical work. Driving over 40k miles per year, sometimes work needs to be done when I m on the road. Today, I had some suspension noise that I couldn t identify on my own - I dropped into Bidwell Automotive and Tire two hours after they closed. Art was kind enough to put my van on the rack so we could see what was going on. Got it diagnosed quickly and saw that it was safe enough to get me home. They didn t even get any work out of me, so I really appreciate the help. I know my way around a garage pretty well, and you can tell a fair amount about a mechanic by how he keeps the shop. First off, this place used to be OK Tire (owned by Bob). Sometimes when businesses change hands, the quality suffers, but when we brought my husband's SUV to Art, the new owner of Bidwell Automotive, his service did not disappoint! It is clear that Bob translated customer service expectations and the importance of customer trust. We will continue to bring our cars here for service! Art was up-front with the fact that the business was changing hands, clear with his estimate and timely with his diagnostic and repair. Highly recommend!

I was referred to Bidwell Automotive and my experience goes as follows:My wife's tire goes flat and I needed it back the following day. The gentleman with whom I spoke named Art said he could accept the car, even though it would be past business hours by the time I could have it towed.First thing in the morning I received a call from Art explaining the situation regarding my tires. After seeing the big box tire stores I stopped in at Bidwell Automotive and Tire to see if they could help. I was amazed at the professional courtesy and they had me fixed and up and running in no time. These guys are great not to mention a small home town shop that cares. 1st time Here. I have lived in Folsom for just over 30 years and been to most of the auto shops in town. I needed a 3rd opinion on a horrible rattle in my car. This shop nailed what was wrong and said I should take it back to whomever installed the part. Very honest, reasonable rate and knew what was wrong!
