Eddie the owner of Eddies Smog Auto Repair Isabel Granados is the manager, both are sincere people. You can tell from the moment you meet him that he is an honest person and does an amazing job on your car and RV needs. I was very impressed with his candid approach his honesty and the fair pricing for the services rendered. I am definitely planning on using him as my primary Auto Repair go to person and I would suggest the same for others out here in Desert Hot Springs. If you're looking for an honest day's work, and an honest price and great results then this is the place.

Extremely happy with the service. Eddie & Isabella went above and beyond. Greatly appreciate all the work you did for my Highlander. Going to an auto shop can be a hit or miss on service and knowledge. Eddie's has gained a faithful new customer. Highly recommend. Fair prices and definitely worth the price. Very knowledgeable!!!!

Eddies is honest, does a good job, and probably the coolest thing about Eddie's is he is curious. It seems to not be enough for him to just fix something, or find an issue, he wants to know what caused it.Of the many mechanics I have known in my life, Eddie is in the top three on pretty much every category. Very knowledgeable!Brought vehicle in with a questionable/hard to diagnose issue. Made sure we were making the proper repair before proceeding.Very helpful throughout the whole process, kept us informed of any changes to work order.Prices were very reasonable and repair was very quick.Would highly recommend

New in town. Took my car for its smog test. After talking with Eddie, we decided to use him as a mechanic. Very knowledgeable and honest. Reasonably priced. Lucky us!

Came in last min for a smog check. It was busy, yet they had me in and out, in about an hour. The lady working the counter (prettiest eyes) was both friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks.

I was there on a Tuesday at around noon waited on by quite a gorgeous Hispanic woman maybe 35 to 40 and she was so professional and so sweet I was with go back there anyway she gave me a couple forms to fill out then they got right on my little is250 lexus and it took the most of 20 minutes and it was done I was so very impressed.

Eddy went the extra mile to show I had extended auto coverage that Ford would cover the repairs. He got the car buttoned up to drive and even put me in touch with Frank at the Ford dealership. I am very pleased with this shop, cannot say enough good things about them. They get you in quickly and find the issue even if it looks like something else.

Eddies is a busy place but making a personal connection with them is easy. They will not do anything extra that you don't actually need. Very honest with their diagnosis of your vehicle. Very professional with attention to details like vacuuming your car just because it needs it. No charge. Had a full 100,000 mile tuneup and battery replacement. Oil change also. They use the right oil for your car. Make an appointment but I have gone in for small emergencies and have been seen. Trust Eddies, you will be glad you did.

The woman (sorry didn t get your name) inside was nice and despite my being bummed, she made the experience not so bad. Eddies charges at lest $40 regardless of pass or fail for smog. I was not told this before testing my car so it was a bummer to find out at the end. Importance of read before you sign I suppose.UPDATE: this place worked with me quite nicely after my first visit and the guys in the shop are really easy going. Have recommended to coworkers.

My driver's side window went down and I took my car there just to have the window put up because it was going to rain that day, shortly after arriving I went inside to inquire about this and was told by the lady at the counter that it would be $100 just to put my window up, I agreed to pay the fee but she stated that she would rather have the issue fixed completely by replacing the window regulator (my door panel was never removed to assess the situation) herself and Eddie stated that they did not have the part and if they were to order it would like 2 days to come in and that I should not have my window down for that long so they both informed me of the part that I needed and told me to go purchase it from the auto store right away and he would fix it right away, which I did and paid the $120 for the labor which I was informed was covered under warranty for 1 yr or 12,000 miles which ever comes first. Fast forward to less than 2 months later the same issue happened so I had my mom take it back to get looked at because I was at work, she called me stating the lady informed her it would $100 each time they had to remove the panel to see if the motor went out or if it was put on wrong the first time, when asked about the warranty she stated that it only covered the labor if it was put on wrong but not to take the panel off to see if it was put on wrong!!!! Long story short I trusted these people and they took my money and did not do a good job at all!!!!!!! They are NOT honest people and they are very shady people.

I started coming here in 2004 and couldn't have found a better mechanic if I were able to do it myself. Eddie and Isabel are affordable and do GREAT, GREAT work. After moving away and coming back, I found he's still just as good and honest as he was 16 yrs ago. As long as I live here he's the ONLY mechanic that I'll trust! Being a single disabled mom with a disabled child my money has to stretch. Eddie assures me that my son and I won't have to go hungry to have a good running car! As long as I live anywhere near the Coachella valley this will be my ONLY mechanic! Thanks Eddie's!Services: Steering & suspension repair, A/C installation & repair

I super love eddie's shop! I tried 5 local shops, including. Toyota dealer to have after market cat converter theft deterrent plates attached. All of them either blew me off, or flat out refused. Eddie was energetic & eager to do the work! Very knowledgeable, & got it done for me! So happy family business's like eddie's are around!

Very good repair service. Techs are all certified, owners always go beyond and above. Office is run by wife who is very nice. Eddie treats customers like friends. Always does extras. Good location. Excellent people.

Thank you eddie's!!! Brought my 1992 k1500 4x4 5.7 350 there for a broken axle , Eddie himself felt concerned about my front differential and personally checked everything out to make absolute sure I was taken care of after and extremely quick and clean check he ruled out it being damaged and replaced my axle and didnt charge for doing the differential check!! Great hard working Christians! I will go there anytime I have an issue, it's hard to find a dependable mechanic shop and trustworthy people !!! They are the shop you want to go to saved a ton of money on my truck very hard to find cheap parts for my truck was under $300 for everythingThanks guys - Zachary Hufnagel

Eddie and Isable have always been good to me and very fair. On several occassions, Eddie has found alternative ways to do repairs on my older car without charging me a lot. I completly trust him and his staff. Isable is the best! I would highly recommend the garage. Everyone there is great!

He did a excellent job on my catalyst converter and charged one price on invoice and $14. Extra on my bank card. I left messages but no response as of yet.

Eddie may be my guardian angel. Called for a smog check, they got me right in. They even checked the air in tires. The girl in the office was super courteous. Great shop. Would highly recommend it.
