Just don t take the lane on the left, took me over one hour and 30 mins to check in, no one serve u but other lanes move like rockets. I ask the service person why my lane take so long and she said because I don t have appointments so other cars on other lanes like already 10 check in so I believe they all have appointments..

This is specifically for the service department. I brought my car for its 55k maintenance and did the recommended service. Upon getting my car back and getting home I noticed that my tires were not rotated as mentioned in the maintenance report. The reason I know is because my front right tire has a nail in it and Toyota was even aware of this issue from my 50k service and has it noted on that report. I called the service department to complain because I paid $200 dollars for a 45min service at most with no oil change, and now no tire rotation. Basically to do minor stuff that for sure doesn t cost $125 in labor. The service manager said they are going to investigate the matter and get back to me. It has now been over two days and I have not heard back and have dialed multiple times with no answer. I tried to give the service team time to fix their issue and refund a portion of the service or discount next service as good faith but have not seen anything take action. Our family is a Toyota family and have purchased multiple cars for that dealer and serviced all of our cars there. My number is on file under my name and I am asking the management team to step in and make sure this issue is handled before having to reach out to corporate and necessary parties to this unethical charge for a service that was never done.

I took my 2012 Rav4 in to get it fully up to service, had several things done to it but at the end of the day she felt brand new and I was loving the feeling. My Service Manager Carl was awesome, he had great customer service, and a very helpful with information when I asked a lot of questions.

I had a pretty bad experience at this location. I came in to get a part of my car fixed they tried to charge me for it, even though I m on the bumper to bumper warranty.What they were trying to charge me $67 for was putting a multimeter on my battery to assess if it was dead or not - something anyone can do - all you do is plug it into an outlet and connect it to the car - would probably take them 10 minutes to check if there s an issue.Really cheap dealership; would not recommend.

Even with an appointment, I still needed to wait 35 minutes before I was able to speak with an advisor. Asked advisor if they could price match a coupon I got from another dealership, was told... "NO and to go to that location if I wanted that price". In the future I will...

City Toyota is a nice place to get your car fix. It's convenient and easy to get here. While waiting, coffee and bread are available for you to have.

I got a flat tire and they used someone else s rim to replace the tire. When I told them about the mistake, he was very impatient and rude. Just be observant when you pick up your car after a fix

We ve bought our cars from City Toyota, and we ve come here for maintenance even after warranties expired. You can always expect fair and honest price and speedy, consistent, reliable services from them over the years. I ve been to other dealers and shops due to circumstances, but I can t say the same with confidence to the other guys.

I had a great experience with Miguel Gonzalez at City Toyota when I bought my Prius Prime recently! He is one of the best Sales Representative at this dealership, has great personality and he is super professional, very knowledgable on his field and with all kinds of cars. Also he takes his time to explain everything in details and does everything above and beyond for customers! I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is interested in buying Toyota vehicles!!

I m not sure how they did the maintenance, after they said everything is done with no issues but somehow the tires pressure signal is on while I during my car home I wondered they not checked all the items but pretend they checked scary..

My three hour appointment for an oil change and basic maintenance turned into a five hour ordeal. The price for this service was $291 in September 2023 and cost $151 in June 2022 for the same service. Plus this year the service advisor tried to upsell me a $200 crankcase flush which involves pouring a can of chemical cleaner in the crankcase, running the engine for 10 minutes, and then doing an oil change immediately afterwards. If you change your oil regularly every 5,000 miles, the detergents in the oil keep the crankcase clean so the $200 flush would be an unnecessary expense and may even damage your engine. My recommendation is to find a trustworthy mechanic who knows Toyota and Lexus cars and skip the overpriced dealership.

Lines are usually very long. I make an appointment for 2:20 pm, get there on time, but because the lines are so long, I don't get checked in until after 3 pm. So it's been quite a frustratingly long wait.Also, they have a cafe where you can get snacks, but you have to show your receipt that you are getting your car serviced to be able to get anything. The problem is that the cafe closes at 3 pm, so by the time the car gets checked in, the cafe staff has packed up and gone home. I also asked if I could just buy the snacks, they said no, they aren't for sale.Additionally, they no longer offer an Uber/Lyft ride to your destination while you wait for your car to be serviced. They also don't have a shuttle, nor do they give you a loaner car if your car needs to stay overnight. But they give you a 10% discount on their rentals (I think they are approx $60/night before the discount). So you either have to wait at the dealership or find your own way back home until they are done.They also stopped doing the car wash after your car has been serviced. So I still have a coupon for a car wash that I can't redeem because they no longer operate that service.So from my experience, you have to sit and wait in your car, for sometimes over an hour, then once you finally get checked in, you have to sit and wait for more hours at the service shop/dealership with no snacks or ride or car wash or anything.And the manager is aware that this is happening and says, yes, just wait or come back another day (to basically wait all over again), so...

Just came for parts not service but Arnell in the parts department was awesome. Got me everything I needed and even labeled a bunch of washers I needed to keep them from getting confused. He was awesome and made it such an easy experience.

I bought my car in for the annual maintenance service. At 11am, I was informed my car was ready, but they found a nail in one rear tire. I was further informed that the treads on my rear tires were low which was surprising, given that I had less than 10K miles on them. They recommended I replace both rear tires. The rep. indicated that they had only tire in stock, but that they could obtain a second tire by 3 pm so my car could be picked up by 5pm. I returned before 5pm, but had to wait until 6pm until the tires were installed and the car was ready.If that was not enough, when I got home, I found that the installed new tires were filthy. I cleaned them with soap+water, but that was insufficient. I cleaned them again with another cleaner. It took me 45 minutes to clean the tires. I had spent almost $1100 for these Michelin tires; the least they could have done was to clean the tires!Poor service.......I drive the car only about 5K per year.As soon as I left the service, the dashboard indicated that the tire settings needed to be reset which I tried doing MANY, many times. It took four days until the calibration screen appeared, but it would still not reset properly. Every time it would start calibrating, it would not finish and pull up the screen to reset the tires. I attempted the reset about 25 times. Why was the tire reset not done by the mechanic??? After a week, I reached Michelle (because I was disgusted with the poor service rendered by Rey) and told her about the issues (tires not recognized and next service date being incorrect). She told me to bring the car in which I did today. She said they would need to manually reset the tire settings. It was so frustrating to not be able to do so automatically for a whole week. There is obviously a glitch in the software. She also learned that the mechanic was unable to schedule the next service beyond 8 mos. I do not understand why, given that in previous years it was reset to one year from the service visit.Michelle was terrific this time as she was last year. However, why did the current rep, Rey, not check the tires to see if they were clean and why did he not check the next service visit, necessitating my coming in a second time and wasting another morning???? Why was the car not ready as he promised?Except for Michelle saving the day, this was a very negative experience at CIty Toyota. I e-mailed the manager, Andre Uy with my negative experiences and he did not even have the courtesy to respond. Tacky manager!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Brought my daughters truck in for its regular minor service this afternoon and was greeted promptly and politely. All my questions were answered and I was offered a place to wait until the service was completed. I have only visited this service center one other time and I received the same respectful treatment and the truck was taken care of.

Always good service. Dealers are often misunderstood. They know the car.Familiarity can sometimes lead to better results. Even lower prices.

Wasn't seen until almost an hour after my appt time. That didn't bother me as much as there not being a shuttle service home. They preferred we waited the hour and a half there for our vehicle. No offense to Toyota but I like having a choice and I'd rather be in the comfort of my home. Service dude was nice though.

Criminally overpriced! Go anywhere else. Ordered a lock cylinder from the parts department and they wanted $810.00 to install one lock. Would never go back here and never recommend!!

My husband made a appointment to get my tire repair as I had a flat, got there at 8:30am and was helped by Cliff and he was very quick and helpful. I was not charge a penny and now I don t have to worry. They also have a breakfast section if you want to grab something to eat while you wait and the waiting area is pretty big.

Waited 5+ hours for basic service. Compared to my longest wait at the Geary St location in SF, which was just under 3 hours. If I had any idea, I would not have opted to wait for my vehicle. Guess the extra 20 min drive into SF would have been worth it!

Waited an hour with an appointment. Staff is rude when asking questions. They say they will pay for uber but make u wait for registration which takes long time. What is the point of registration? Why tell people about uber if u dont intend to give it to people? Why so rude?

My past experience with the service department was very good. However, this time I received poor service. First, I came 10 minutes early for a a scheduled appointment at a 140pm. I was not seen until 215pm. The manager apologized for the delay. So far so good. There was a uber service to get me to my desired destination. They called and said if I can leave the car overnight. I said yes to give them time as I expected it to be ready by 9am. But no one called about the status. I left a message and called a number of times only to be sent a SMS text that the car is not ready. They have had 8 hours to run a test and fix the problem but still is not ready and they keep saying they are still testing it. It takes 2 hours at most to run a diagnostic test and given that 8 hours could have fixed the issue. Its about 10 hrs now and they are still working on the car. It would been great if they were honest and said that there is a back-up on services instead of saying ithey are still running a diagnostic test. With this kind of service, they have lost a sale as I was planning to buy a new car. Poor and dishonest services at Daly city Toyota car service.

I loved that you can schedule an appointment online. At 7:40am saturday it was busy but it was very good organized so i at 7:55am i was already in the waiting area. The standard service for my Toyota RAV4 took 1hr and 15min. The service was really friendly and i had a feeling they did not try to upsale me. Definitely doing it next time again.

I had just filled up my gas Tank .Immediately my Power Steering decided to go out AND when I parked in my garage less than half a mile from the Gas Station.While I can NOT.complain about the Job done (4 days later) on MyToyota Camry, I could NOT believe a QUARTER of a Tank of my gas was MISSING when I picked up my Car.I was speeches. Gas is so high now. Should I Report this? Will there be EXCUSES why thIs happended??? I'll see...

Made appointment for oil change and airbag recall. Great customer service from Xavier Goni. Was told it would take couple of hours which be about noon time. Got a call that it was done at noon. Explained on the phone about the completion of car and sent paperwork via email. I've been servicing my 2002 Tacoma for 18 years at City Toyota and now I have a 2017 yaris that will follow suit.
