My family car kept breaking down last week so I took it into this shop since it's closest locally to me. The man doing auto repair work inside(forgot his name) was so nice and honest I was surprised because most shops I've been to are just out for money but this shop isn't. They were super trustworthy and straight forward and didn't over charge me! Also the lady working upfront is very nice as well definitely recommend this place for auto repair!

So these people like to play by whatever rules they decide they're going to have depending on the day. The receptionist told me a while back, if you don't show up by 9 a.m. you're cut off from service. She knows this, because I'm sure they've told a lot of people this policy. That if you're not here by 9 they just move on from you. So why on earth would someone tow a vehicle down there to be refused service because you show up late.Then of course if they're having a slow day, they change that up to, well we're sitting around all morning and wasting time. So which is it? Are you cutting someone off at 9 or waiting all morning?Also, when I called one time to tell the mechanic that we installed a relay for the fuel pump and he won't need to cut electrical line to take out the gas tank, he was rude and quick and didn't appreciate the heads up. He just mumbled something and hung up. So they're not approachable.Also, when I took my Acura in for a tune up, I went to the diner across the street. After an hour I walked over and sat in the Acura for about an hour before they called me. This clearly caught them off guard. And he told me he'd have to get an estimate together for the repair. They never called. . I called multiple times and nothing, no response. Zero respect for the fact I'm a paying customer trying to deal with their 9 a.m. rule or you're out.So the impression you get is, they're too busy for your pathetic self to deal with properly.If you're late, tough cookies. Oh except when we're sitting around.Honestly, I don't appreciate the attitude and b.s. dealing with them. If you have AAA roadside assistance and free tows, it's really not much further to just have them tow it down the mountain to a different place, since you're towing it anyway. And skip the double standard of be here by 9 or else.I was shocked not being called back for an estimate, then being told I wasted their time by not showing up when they told me specifically that if you're not here by 9 we refuse your car and move on.

Excellent and honest family owned automotive repair service and smog. Extremely prompt and thorough on all makes with very reasonable pricing. Because of their popularity, you may need to make an appointment.

Nate is very conscience and honest. Hard to find in a mechanic. He's very popular so I would recommend calling for an appointment . Reliable and reasonable as well as knowledgeable, I highly recommend Jim's Auto in Crestline.

They were able to see me pretty much right away! Everyone was so nice and polite. They got my car up on the rack and luckily it was minor and they didn't charge me anything! I'll definitely be coming back for other services!! Great place to bring your Subaru! I emailed Nate back and forth with for a few weeks asking numerous questions about the work I wanted done (lift and suspension) Nate was always really responsive and through with the answers to my questions! Dropped my car off at 8am and was driving home by 1230pm. I was really impressed how fast they got everything completed great place to go I definitely found my shop for any car needs! I don't remember the gentleman's name but he was the red head lol very thorough and helpful. I thought I blew a head, turns out it was just my clutch burnt out. They could've easily let me believe my engine was done and charged my up the @$$ but they were very helpful and got my car up and running within a few days. Also very friendly and kind to my children when visiting. Would highly recommend.

These guys are so lovely in every possible way. I came all the way from Long Beach (hour and 20 min drive) to get a Lift Kit installed for my Subaru because of their experience in the vehicle. Not only were they patient with me but they gave me advise on quality product, fair price and were transparent through it all! Knowing the demands of a small company and time constraints I made an appointment to get a Lift Kit installed on my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. They were on time, friendly, knowledgeable, offered more fun Subaru advice and clubs to join AND picked myself and young cousin up from the Lake after spending the time kayaking so we wouldn't have to walk up hill!Will most certainly make the drive again for future mods I want to do!Thank YOU!

Great Service as always from Nate. Definitely worth the drive knowing that my car will be well taken care of. Just bought an 88 CRX and had the Front/Rear brakes replaced. Great service and even better prices!!!

Nate and Nykky run an excellent shop. We have been taking our vehicles here for 7 years. Won't take them anywhere else. They do great work quickly at fair prices. They work on all kinds of vehicles, but if you drive a Subaru Nate is the guy you want working on it.

So I live right down the street from this place, call to see if they have time for an oil change Thursday of last week, they say "No we are leaving early today and won't be here tomorrow either and we are closed weekends, try back next week. "I drive in today (Tuesday) and I am told "We are booked up the rest of the week and next week, I can't get you in until Friday" phone rings, she knows I am right in front of her (first come first serve) picks up the phone and proceeds with the call.... I have to excuse myself because obviously they are too busy even for me right in front of them. After I tell them " I see you guys are too busy for me and proceed to the front door, I get called back and she says I may be able to get you in Thursday next week..I get that oil changes are not your "bread and butter" I guess you guys out if not in the cards for me after my second interaction.

I called the about fixing the car mirror on my car explaining I take care of hospice patient she took 2 weeks finding the part I found in ten minutes then yelled at hospice patient daughter

First off, he didn t charge me a single cent even when I offered to pay because he helped so much. My power steering went out and he gladly took a look to see what the problem was. There was a clog in my power steering system and he unclogged it for free. Given that he was the nearest mechanic around and I needed to get down the mountain, he could have easily charged me for his work. Yet he fixed it without hesitation and without charging. Thank you very much and Merry Christmas to you.

Just called to schedule a smog check and the guy said next week Monday. It is Tuesday 6 days for a smog check is insane. I'm just taking it in to some one down the hill that will do it same day or next day. SMH when trying to support local businesses backfires. I got my springs and struts compressed here and it was reasonable but this 6 day out for a smog check is simply nutsService: General repairs & maintenance

Very rude employees. The guys in the bay completely ignored me when I got there. I was waiting patiently for someone to come and help me since I had an appointment. I figured the guy just standing there doing nothing would greet me and let me know where to park. Instead he turned his back on me as if he didn't see me. I kept standing there smiling and waiting to be helped. After a few minutes he looked up again and yelled "what's up?" I decided to run went to Snyder's tires instead. They were very professional and helpful.
