Do not go to this person find somewhere else. He's a waste of time and energy. I called him for a quote on how to fix car locks he started spouting all these assumptions and stuff that had nothing to do with what I asked him. Then when I said that's great, when can you look at it his reply is I don't want to. Your job is to fix cars do your job! Find a dealer, find a neighborhood mechanic, find a dog but don't use this guy. Poor business acumen and customer service

Mark and his team are fantastic. I bought a car on impulse which is never a good thing and even more dangerous when it is a 1973 MG! Mark promised to help me, his team reviewed the car, prioritized the repairs based on safety, nice but not urgent and do this if you want to display at Pebble Beach!We worked through the important safety stuff, did a bit of the nice and I got my car back. It was no longer my car it was a whole new experience. The work was completed on time, perfectly and most important to me on budget. Thank you!

Outstanding! Mark and his team helped insure that our 1957 Morgan Plus 4 Drop Head Coupe was safe and efficient to drive. Not only did they determine that our overheating problem was either a thermostat problem or a thermostat gauge problem, but they replaced the thermostat for a reasonable price and actually saved and reused the coolant that I had recently changed so that they would be able to save us some money. As it turned out, the replaced thermostat appears to have fixed the problem. In addition, they did a full check of the brakes, cleaned and made sure that they were in good working order and fixed the emergency brake. All was said and done in a matter of a few days and we dealt directly with Mark for all of our needs and questions. If you have a British car (old or new) I would highly recommend Mark and the folks at British European Motors. Well done and cheers to your attention to customer service and satisfaction! This is truly a five star operation!I ve brought my cars in several times for either routine maintenance or repairs. Each and every time I ve left thoroughly satisfied. The technicians are professional and my vehicles were ready at the times promised. Then management insures that customers receive extraordinary treatment. My cars were inspected bumper to bumper with all findings relayed for my consideration. Finally to arrive to pick up my vehicle to find it freshly washed only reinforces my intent to return whenever I need service. Vintage Jaguars and other British brands from all over the country to Mark. This shows you their level of expertise. Mark is pleasure.They also service and repair current JLR vehicles. I have the modern ones.Highly recommended.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Well considering that they are the only place that specializes in Jaguar service in Sonoma county. I kinda have to go there. But here is the rope. They are super square with me and I have never been let down by them. The prices are bit tall for my taste. But it's a Jaguar, so it's justified. Though I never think that they are over charging me. They will always try and accommodate around my wacky work schedule.

James is a very professional and knowledge based mechanic.I recently brought my 2000 XK8 in to remedy several annoying and elusive problems. These guy's understand the quirks and special problems that British cars seem to come with. They really know there stuff! Our 99 P38 RR 4.6 had a catastrophic breakdown in Santa Rosa caused by engine fusebox meltdown. Came out of nowhere and left my wife, daughter and 2 dogs stranded. With the help and referral of AAA, they were towed at 4P to James at British European who immediately went to work diagnosing the problem and putting a solution into motion. A few days later truck was returned repaired Andrew ready to roll again. They really helped me in a pinch by keeping my family safe while dealing with a dynamic and stressful situation. Awesome, and above and beyond our expectations. Thanks again guys!

It has been over a year and I am still deeply disappointed with the service received ay BEMI wanted a smog certificate.I contacted the office for a smog certification of my newly purchased 2005 XJ8LThey offered a $195 examination of the car with a 5 page printout.I agreed.I delivered the car and rode my bike home to Petaluma.They called the next day and said there were starting problems.They wanted to check the fuel pump for another $100.I thought, "What the heck and agreed".Then I was quoted $1395 plus tax and labor for a new fuel pump.I checked with the dealer in San Rafael and a new fuel pump was $795!!!!!Several calls passed back and forth and then they said it was the battery.By this time I had lost trust and asked a local shop to deliver a new battery.BEM charged $75 to install a new battery. A 10 to 15 minute job. CSAA would have done it for free.When I picked the car up the service writer showed me a picture of the battery from his smart phone with a dark discoloration over the faulty cells.He said, "That shows the problem with your battery!"My problem was that I had paid them $195 and their survey sheet showed that the battery was fine.As for the smog check, they never did it.As for the five page print out......It was just a poorly copied check list that obviously had been hurried thru after the fact.For about $500 I was badly burned and never got my smog check.I have discussed this with other people and the consensus is that the shop is a gold mine for overcharging customers for poorly delivered work or work not even done.The shop is a shill for bleeding customers dry and then comes the kicker..... The shop will offer to buy vintage cars for cents on the dollar for resale.The dealers lisence is posted on the wall.Then the shop will quickly make repairs for pennies on the dollar and sell customers cars for great profits at other locations.In short, these guys are crooked as Lombard street and will try to steal your car.After a year I am still pissed.Terry B in Petaluma
