This place is fast & has a great price for Smogs if you pay in cash! They took about 10 minutes with my car. The shop is entertaining to see all the neat collections they have. These guys are friendly and good at what they do! I will definitely be recommending this place and coming back!

Super good smog shop. Not to be confused with other smog shop next door. The best one has a lot of toys in their office. $40 cash, no problem. I spent only 20 min. Waiting there. One station so it depends how busy the tech, but they are quick. Owner is nice and honest. 2nd gen small family business that gives back to the community. What's not to love?

I've come a few times to Crescent Auto because a friend referred me to them. I've found they are friendly and ethical, meaning one of the employees or the owner will show me the issue, drives with me so I can indicate the issue, are priced fairly (I've called other shops about the issue, requested an estimate and it was always more than what Crescent cited), etc. I had one time my car was jerking, they told me to come in even though it was last minute and took a look at my car right away. I will say, while I've waited in the office for my car to be looked at, I've heard other customers complain and Paul or Jeff will politely explain to them what was actually wrong with their car that might be different than what the owner of the car thought it was, or are waiting for parts (which really, they do not have complete control over), etc. They are always patient with these people.I will keep coming here and definitely recommend this shop to anyone who asks where I go!

Good place to go for a smog , the price is not 40$ anymore it s 50$ cash or 58$ with card , I have gotten it done before for 40$ but they recently raised there prices. Overall the location has good service.

Very fair, honest service. Not the cheapest, certainly not the most expensive, but simply the best. Ive been going to them for a few years now and trust them entirely. Thank You Crescent Auto Repair for all your over the top efforts, brought my vehicle in for a rotors and brake change & received an outstanding level of customer service, knowledge, & integrity when disclosing to repair recommendations for my vehicle. A great and honest mechanic for anybody who is tired of getting scammed by car shops that when they work on your car there s a new problem when you go to pick it up. Paul and David were awesome. Mind you my only experience with these gentlemen was for a smog check. No bells and whistles just a great price for a service. Often times in Smog/Auto shops you're dealing with "wrench turners" lacking people skills, not the case here. Paul was very pleasant to me and my fiancee and we were in and out in about 10 minutes. I noticed other reviews before coming but let's be honest here, the MACHINES fail your vehicle folks not the people operating them. If your check engine light is malfunctioning you're not going to pass even if the Lord himself anoints your car before testing. It's funny people often complain when they have an unpleasant experience but rarely commend businesses for the excellent customer service and the service they provide. My fiancee's car was NOT brand new, it passed, shocker. I regularly do the maintanance on her car myself as I have had a few bad experiences at other shops. Regular tune ups and fluid changes are necessary, there is an old saying "A car is a city man's horse, so take care of your horse." People run their vehicles into the ground and act surprised when repairs cost them more in the long run. Anyway, getting a little off topic but thank you Paul for your excellent and underrated customer service skills. We'll see you in two years for the next smog check unless we get a "new horse" and a smog isn't necessary.

Took my Ford ranger here and they wouldn't pass smog because he said my truck didn't have the correct amount of cats and it took me several calls to ford and an appointment with the the state smog referees to prove that it did indeed have the correct number of cats, it caused me a ton of needless hoops to jump through when the truck was fine. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, I go somewhere else now and have had no issues with my truck passing smog since

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!!!Stop getting ripped off at those other shops. Here, as soon as you walk in Paul the owner, treats you like Family. Him and his Employees are Very Knowledgeable, their rates are Great, and you don t half to sell one of your kidneys to pay for them to fix your car. This was a little bit of a drive but it was definitely worth it. They have the best deal in the Inland Empire, filing and everything for $40. Best price, friendly customer service and these guys are fast. Literally from the time the guy drove my truck into the bay until he came in and said it was done, less then 15 minutes

We had such a great experience. We were looking at a new car in Corona. Read the reviews. Decided to try. I called him at 830 and asked if he could look at it.he made time for us and did a great job inspecting. He is professional and an overall nice guy. Very impressed. We had 3 crazy kids and he was gracious. Would recommend him in a heart beat.

Took my car in to have some front suspension work done. I had a horrible time with other shops. Communication at Crescent auto repair was amazing! They always follow up with you and take care of all the painful paper work acquainted with warranties. My car feels brand new now and they were super fast with their work and i can not express how great Paul was through the whole process.

Working with Crescent Auto was a fantastic experience. I had a window disappear due to a broken regulator (slid down inside the door). Made a call and was able to have my window fixed same day. Paul was great to work with. Very honest, straight forward...which is very hard to come by these days. A few months later, same thing happens to my car on the other side. Yes, I made the 30 min drive on the 91 freeway East on a Friday to have it repaired. Only repair shop I'll deal with.

First time going to this shop and I love it. The gentleman who helped me was David. He was very nice and polite. I had the smog test done in my car on Oct.08, 2015.. He gave me a receipt before and after the service was done. It was done so fast that I couldn't believe it. It took me longer to get out of my car (had two infants) than what I had to wait in the office. He opened the door for me and drove the car right in front of the office. It was a sunny and very hot day. I so appreciate his help and kindness.

I needed a car inspection done. Paul and his team met and exceeded my expectations. Paul came across in every sense of the word "professional". He answered all my many questions, was courteous, prompt, and in today's digital world, texted, emailed and called me to discuss everything and send me copies. I was very impressed to get immediate replies, or get back to me in a timely fashion. I was treated with a professionalism that is often hard to find! Not only that, he made me feel like I was talking to my best friend! He got me prices and discussed everything I felt needed discussing! I would definitely recommend his services and would go back to him should the need arise. Thank you Paul for all your much appreciated help! The reviews that say he's amazing are all true!

I dealt with the owner of the shop, Paul, and his customer service was awesome! I went in for a smog and the price was more than fair. My car actually failed and I had them do the repairs; once repairs were completed, my car passed smog and now I will always go back. I tell everybody I can about them.I've read some of the bad reviews and people are funny. So far from the truth, it's not even funny. I'll bet you anything that they are the type of person who is always mad at the world and it's never their fault. But seriously, see for yourself how great they are firsthand.

To be honest me and my parents have been taking our cars here for years, before it was crescent, it was called recon when Paul's late father was the owner. Bill was rough and to the point (which we appreciate) no b.s.Costumer service is awesome, Paul is a great guy who I think does his dad good.Also shout out to Willie (I believe is there head mechanic) who has been there step by step with my mother's p.t.And if they happen to read this I hope I did you and all your guys well because of all the great work you all have done for us.

I had an amazing experience here! All the staff was very friendly and professional and explained things in a way I could understand. I have 1992 lexus sc300 with 400,000 + miles on it and it's running strong. However it failed the smog but after some looking around they fluid a solution by adjusting an engine belt I believe for an extra 30 dollars. I was sad that I had to wait longer but in the end it was a positive experience I highly recommend and will be coming here again when needed!!

I have come to crescent auto repair for smog check for years. It is one of cheapest place for smog (cash only). Many people would be afraid of the potential of bait and switch scam that doesn't happen here in my experience. They don't need to do that to make a living. There are enough old cars that need proper tuning and maintenance to pass smog. They do use the cheap smog check price to attract customers though.Both store manager and mechanics are honest and straight forward. The $85 diagnostic fee is reasonable to me because they do proper diagnostics and repair the issue for you. You can fix the issue somewhere else and come back to get a free retest. But, it might not be a cheaper option. I had experience that other garage quoted more than $300 for an EVAP issue and I got it fixed here for only $85 + parts.

after getting a tune up for my van crescent auto went out of there way to get the best price for my roters for my brakes. and after my car was done it took me a couple of weeks to get in and pay for it . they were very understanding. great auto repair in corona....

One of the worst auto repair experiences I've had in over 20 years. I was attracted by the super-cheap smog check, but cheap always comes with a cost... When my car did not pass the smog inspection, I asked if they could fix the source of the issue. Manager scribbled down an estimate, and when I asked for a breakdown of the cost, the manager sarcastically asked me to calculate the costs, which I calculated to be an astronomical $90 an hour.When I mentioned I was on a budget, they stated that they could not adjust the component that was causing the issue and would need to replace the entire part. (I later learned that a family member had taken the same car to another garage, which charged only $30 to adjust the component.) After they 'fixed' the source of the issue for $250 total, my check engine light went on. I brought it in the following week, and they mentioned that the electrical wiring to the part they replaced was defective. The wiring was fine before I brought it into their garage.To cap things off, after I waited 4 hours for the repair, which the manager claimed would only take a few hours, the manager called me and mentioned he would only accept cash, not credit. Luckily, I had cash on me; otherwise, I would have been stranded and forced to walk the ATM.They had also advertised on the Web that they participated in California's Consumer Assistance Program, which provides assistance for smog repairs. I forgot to inquire initially, and when I brought the program up later, they mentioned they could not participate because I had not mentioned the program when I first decided on the repair. They mentioned that the state requires a more thorough battery of tests than the one they run (inferring that they did not conduct a thorough smog check), and to participate in the program, they would need to re-run the smog check and charge me twice for the check.Run, do not walk, from this shop. Shoddy service, shoddy work, dishonest staff.

First of all never come to this auto shop.On Google i searched CORONA CHEAP SMOG CHECK and lucky I got this place advertising $35 smog check. That same day I took my car in and they told me after an hour that my car has failed. They asked me to bring it in the next day for a diagnostic. I came back and drop it off thinking that they would fix the issue. They didn't call me to tell me what the problem was til closing time. Once I got there they told me they needed to order a part and that the total would be around $400. I left half of the total so they could order it, trusting that they would call me back after three days. They never called me back, I kept calling them back everyday after I was expecting to receive their phone call. It took them more than a week to get the part and finally I took my car expecting to have it done all that same day. They had my car since 8am to 5pm to tell me that they could not finish my car. So now they were asking me to bring it back and I did. The next time I took it back it was the same they never called me and I expected it to be finish by the end of the day like they promised. That surely didn't happen because now they needed a new part and they added additional tax charge that was never on the invoice. Now I'm leaving my car again for the fifth time hoping they get the job done.The moral of my situation is too never go cheap cause you'll get what you pay for.They lack Efficiency, Management, Professionalism and Customer Satisfaction that is nowhere near exceptional, These guys don't even deserve to be in business.Google please take down their add so no one else goes through what I did.

GREAT SERVICE, GREAT VALUE, HONEST MECHANIC. Hard to find all 3 in one place. I highly recommend this place to anyone. While I was there, some guy came in trying to scare customers away saying they were a scam and that he writes DIY magazines about cars so failing a visual check is subjective. In my opinion if someone knows so much about cars they would understand the reports and be able to validate the need for such repairs rather than blaming the technician for subjectivity. Furthermore, I personally would prefer the thoroughness of these checks. These guys aren't going to steer you wrong....

Yesterday was the first time I went to Crescent Auto for a smog test. I feel very satisfied. The price is good and I only had to wait for about 10-15 min. The people that work in the shop are friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

I would definitely recommend crescent Auto . The owner Paul was amazing. He was very honest and helpful. There are no games at this place. The customer service was excellent. His mechanic David is very good, and they know what they are doing. This is a place that has integrity. They care about helping . They go above and beyond to be helpful.

This shop provides amazing service. They tell you exactly what you need, nothing more or less, the first time around. Pricing is fair and staff are off the charts friendly. I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else!
