My wife and I took delivery of our 6th RV recently from Mike Thompson RV - Colton and the experience was greater than I could have imagined. As we did a lot of research and due diligence prior to the purchase and our biggest fear was the inability of the RV industry to take care of the customers. Most reviews on social media were enough to scare us out of the decision to buy an RV. That being said, Paul, our sales person, Mike, our walk-through technician, and Clifford, our finance person, went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to working with us in all areas of the transaction. Paul was patient, honest and informative as we walked through the decision process. Mike, a treasured individual who did our walk-through was jovial, informative, and patient as we asked our various questions about our new RV. Clifford, a real gem as well, was helpful in arranging all the financial aspects of the transaction. His explanations of all the available options and choices we had to make were as precise and thorough of a financial delivery we have ever had. I even heard this morning from Maryann in their service department calling to ask if all was ok so far, and if not, she was ready to help with any questions I had. I know from past experiences that no RV is perfect and these things go down the road at 65 milers per hour and shake like an earthquake. But, we are confident in the ability of these 4 outstanding individuals to take care of our needs when they arise and we know, if we ever need another RV, Mike Thompson RV - Colton will be the only place we go to.

We had a great experience here! We did a lot of research and due diligence before coming to this location. We visited a few other places as well. Thad, our sales associate, was great from start to finish. Not only is he very knowledgeable, but he also gave advice for what we are hoping to do with our new toy hauler. He gave us great advice and tips along the way. He was also great to our kids when we came back to show them! Sheldon was great as well. He even remembered all of our children s names when we came back for our walk through! Everyone here is very kind and goes out of their way to make sure everything is perfect before you make any decisions and also before they deliver! We are very thankful for our experience here! We are excited for the adventures ahead in our new Momentum!

I purchased my first RV a year ago from a Lazy Days outlet in Tucson. My entire experience has been a frustrating challenge because of the extremely poor quality of the build (an Thor Sprinter van) and the lack of education regarding the workings of the van. I decided to visit Mike Thompson while on a visit to SCal and have all of my questions addressed. Marianne listened carefully to my concerns, understood exactly what needed to be done, made an appointment to meet with Fernando the technician, and got me out the same day. Fernando was knowledgeable and excellent in explaining the relatively complicated battery system and clarifying other issues I did not understand regarding my van. I very much appreciated the understanding that both Marianne and Fernando had of my frustration without making me feel stupid. We are on an extended trip right now and are enjoying it much more thanks to Marianne and Fernando s help. Thank you! KW

A great big shout out to Mike Thompson RV of Colton, the technician , Donnie , dispatcher Pelerose and service front desk person Marianna, I ve had some issues with My RV I purchased back in November and had to go back and forth several times nothing to do with Mike Thompson but builder issues. The service dept was awesome. They would get me in and out asap and were very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks to the Mike Thompson Service Team

I took my 2022 travel trailer here to get serviced after I bought it and they stole my spare tire from the back of my RV and said they didn t know what happened to it . It came with a spare tire on the back of it . how did they all of a sudden not know what happened to it. This place just tries to make trailers look nice and will do whatever it takes to make a sale. I would like my spare tire back. when I first bought the trailer it came with it then I take it in to get serviced and they steal it back.

We were very disappointed with our Mike Thompson s experience! We talked to Jessica on the phone and completely explained our situation about being full-time RVERS and needing to get all our repairs done at one time! She mislead us into believing this would happen and made us an appointment! When we arrived, a nice, inexperienced guy named David came out and started telling us it would take two days for the diagnostic process, then possibly several months to get parts and then several more months to actually schedule repairs! I had decided to take our Motorhome to this location because I really liked the Parts Manager, Jim Menosky! Long story short, never buy a Motorhome of any brand from Mike Thompson s unless you can have it tied up months at a time for service work! It is no wonder why the Motorhome Industry is having difficulty and losing brands, dealers and many customers! Good customer service and quality merchandise are hard to find!

Still waiting on parts to be delivered .after getting home an looking closer at the motorhome the roof is in need of sealing. Found a hole on the roof cover with tape really? I gess we should have looked closer .as is no worenty.

We've travelled extensively and have had to address issues with our Montana 5th wheel while on the road with a variety of different service facilities including dealerships, independent authorized service shops and mobile service providers. By far, the service team at Mike Thompson Colton was the most responsive, professional, and technically competent team. Starting with Jerry, our service advisor, he was constantly in contact, emailing or phoning updates, responding quickly to our questions and concerns, relentless in his follow-up after-service care with questions of our satisfaction. We have never had a group of RV repair people as engaged with us as customers as Mike Thompson's group. I highly recommend utilizing their extremely talented service technicians.

Never buy a used vehicle here!! I put down a deposit on a vehicle that I was told was being fixed up, and looked over. I learned later it was done by a 3rd party, and they refused to cover the cost or fix anything that wasn't working when they handed off the keys.A list of things wrong.Fridge broke immediately.RV batteries were dead and needed to be replacedThere were literal food crumbs on the table extension (they didn't even wipe down the dinette table).Water in the shower was brown. (They didn't clean the pipes)Brakes are squealing (I have to replace brake pads myself)Headlights went out immediately (I had to pay to replace then).

had an an easy fix emergency over the weekend (toilet wouldn't flush, little tab that opens/closes flush broke off). 0 help from Mike Thompson RV. We're from out of state at race track, wouldn't come out to fix, wouldn't get us in to fix, said it would take over a week for a tech to just look at it. We asked for parts then, i'll fix it myself, nope parts wouldn't look up if they have the part in stock. To get me off the phone the lady said she'd look if it's in stock an call me back. Never called back. Avoid this place, they use their service department as a sales pitch (my friend just bought his trailer there). I told him everything they said about service to get him to buy from them was and is a lie. Thanks for nothing Mike Thompson's RV.Why ask me to reach out when you're not going to reply. I suppose I should have known better since you didn't call back when we tried to spend money at your establishment.

We took our Forrester in for repairs. Jonathon Flores our advisor did a great job coordinating with our insurance company and keeping us abreast of every situation that came up. We would highly recommend Mike Thompson and Jonathon.

Bought a 2022 travel trailer. Had to give 1 star because they sold us a faulty brand new trailer . Water heater never worked & bottom piping was broken. the staff & associates here are all nice and have great hospitality . Just wish we got an honest trailer . It seemed like it was faulty out the mani fracture but still . if they can just give me my money back & resale it once it s out of they re repair shop that I had to take in as soon as I bought it. That would be great so it can continue to be theyre problem. Good nice people . Bad buy..Update now they deserve zero starts I got my trailer back out the dealership after getting repaired . All the stickers were ripped off and my spare tire came up missing and they said they can t do anything about it . Wow this place is just horrible . I was going to come back and upgrade but never again.

We purchased a new 2021 Grand Design Reflection 303RLS in late May 2021 from Mike Thopmson's RV Super Center in Colton CA. I obtained quotes from all over the country and then saw that Mike Thompson's had the RV we wanted in inventory but with out listing the price (RV Trader was where I found this). I called and spoke with Kaitlyn and she got right back to me with a price. Kaitlyn explained that the west coast prices are slightly higher due to transportation costs, the further form Indiana ( the manufacturer location) the more the dealer pays to get the RV due to increased transport distance / cost. I was quoted a price about 2K higher than other dealers that were many states away. We decided that not having to travel thousands of miles then deal with an out of state purchase and the DMV / Tax issues to register back here in CA would be worth the extra money. We agreed to the purchase and put a deposit down over the phone and did the necessary paperwork. We live 500 miles from this dealer. I was a little nervous after looking at other reviews on Mike Thompson's RV but every time that I would text or call Kaitlyn she answered. Kaitlyn's excellent communication made me feel much better about sending a lot of money without actually seeing our purchase (except pictures). About a week later it was time to go pick up our new RV. We stayed in a local hotel the night before and actually arrived at the dealer about an hour early the next morning . Everyone we spoke to at Mike Thompson's was absolutely fantastic. Kaitlyn came in on her day off to meet us and make sure all went well and that we were happy. We have been enjoying our new fifth wheel very much and send a big thank you to Kaitlyn and Mike Thompson's RV Super Center in Colton CA.

Very happy with my customer service experience when I brought my motorhome in for service. I bought a brand new RV 3 months ago from Mike Thompson's in Santa Fe springs, but I live closer to the Colton location, and we had several small issues pop up and a couple bigger. With service writer Angie's help and mechanic Robbie's and the other mechanics help, all issues were very well taken care of. Including before our current several months trip, the morning we were getting ready to leave, both our rooftop ACs stopped working and they took me right in and spent several hours making sure they were fixed for our trip. We're heading north through the Central Valley where it's 107 so definitely a needed repair. They gave us such incredible service during all our repairs, I would highly recommend Mike Thompson's Colton service department. Thanks very much all, and especially Angie, see you when we get back for adding accessories etc

Paige, our sales person was awesome. I'd give her a 5. However, when you start talking to the lender and from then on, BEWARE! They wanted to push our motorhome out the door, saying it had to be delivered by the end of the month. Why? So they could win a competition with the other Mike Thompson centers.So we met the driver at the California/Nevada line, at a few minutes before dark, so there really was no walk through.Next, the RV Bootcamp guy we hired found all kinds of problems right off the bat, like no water hose, an electrical cord that was burnt, the fact that the generator oil and filter hadn't been changed in over 2 years, etc. Mike Thompson's did pay us $2800 for repairs and replacements, but it didn't end there for us. We later discovered the board in the hot water heater was bad and had never worked. The emergency windows had all been opened, so they flapped when we drove it and had to be duct taped shut. Side cargo doors had broken latches. 2 years in, we now know the electrical had been gimmy rigged along with the toilets. Thank god we bought the expensive warranty, because they sold us a true lemon and did zero inspections. They simply polished it up, sprayed something on the peeling pleather that lasted 2 seconds and sent it our way with a battery chirping to be changed and a carbon detector that wasn't working. Granted, we were new and dumb, so didn't ask for a private inspection. There should be a way to hold them accountable for putting such a dangerous rig on the road.

We recently bought a used class A from the Colton location. The salesman was great which is why we chose to purchase here. Everything was good through the process up until we took the coach home. We almost immediately discovered a pretty substantial leak in the slide. Our propane door popped open on our way home and is now duct taped shut. After contacting MT, they advised us they would send someone out. We were dealing with their very rude, condescending used rv manager Tomas. We took it back to get it under cover to try and minimize damage. 30 days later and 4 trips by the tech we got that solved. The said manager claimed to have ordered the propane door latch that we need almost 30 days ago and is now not responding to our text messages. We took the rig out for our first trip and found a propane leak. They sent out their mobile tech who advised us that we would have to use our extended warranty. It's supposed to cover everything, well at least that is what we were told. They are telling us that it's a manufacturer issue and they need to handle it. Here we are two weeks later, the full tank of propane that we paid for is almost completely empty and we still have a propane leak that nobody wants to be responsible for. So please learn from our mistake, if you need to buy used, don't do it here. We also found a chip in the windshield that we didn't see when we picked it up because it was raining, we had someone come out only to find that the crack was there and had been filled. They 100% don't stand by the products they sell. We should have done a better job of checking it with a fine tooth comb, maybe we wouldn't be stuck with the giant lemon we call an RV. Once you take the rig off their lot, you are on your own.

We had a great experience at Mike Thompson in Colton. We were having work done in the service department. Matthew was our service tech. He is a great guy! He really went the extra mile for us!We were browsing the new RV's on the lot and I asked Julian a couple of question on the Reflection. That started a great sales relationship between us and Julian! He answered all our question and made us feel like we really mattered.We ran into a problem with the sale of the new trailer because of the old one. But Thad came to our rescue with a little "out of the box" thinking. Vola' problem solved. These guys went above and beyond their call. They made our dream come true! Thank you Julian, Thad, and Mike (who took time to walk us through getting to know our new trailer). And Josh and Cliff in finance. What a great team you all make!

All the work they have done for warranty is failing. Literally everything they tried to fix. Again I'm out with my trailer camping and I can't stop thinking how much of a mistake it was to purchase from them .DO NOT BUY FROM HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Had the worst experience with the service department. My wife and I bought a brand new trailer ,but when we got it home we found multiple problems with it ,it showed us that they didn't do a thorough walk through,just the fact the molding was separating from the ceiling and wall,the screen door didn't latch properly and the heater didn't work on our first trip out and our lpgas hoses were broken and released all of our propane,we took it in to get these things taken care of but they just dragged their feet,we had a trip planned and had to pick it up without our heater,after our trip they were supposed get back in touch with us to get the heater issue resolved but we had to be the one to follow up with them because it's like they forgot all about it ,needless to say we set up another appointment ,they said they got the manufacturer approval they called us and said everything was fixed but when I got home they didn't fix it at all ,so beware. I am not a happy customer at all because now I have to find time to take it back and get it addressed

I bought a used motor home and I was impressed by how I was treated in all phases of the purchase. Even after I found some issues after the sale was finalized they took care of everything, even though I signed the Where is, As is form.They are a standup company.

Mike Thompson RV help me in a time that was very trying my wife had passed away. I had to sell my RV because I could not afford it anymore. They help me and paid the finance company for my RV and really did a good job. I took it to Temecula RV. They tried to cheat me out of it. I would highly recommend recommend Thompson RV to anybody. They're great to deal with and someday when I can buy another motor home. I will buy one there thank you very much mike thompson r b
