Took my Jeep for a rear main seal replacement and a new flow master exhaust. This shop did an amazing job. The owners took extra time discussing a lift package and options for me as well and answered all my questions. I will be back with no doubt. An amazing experience which isn t that often. These guys rock!

This Bizz is Legit, If you're in to jeeps then Dave knows... I don't know anyone who knows more about Jeeps than my Compa! And my Clovis Auto & machine shop Compas will tell you the same.. Best mechanic shops in the Central Valley!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like I was taken advantage of and paid a ridiculous amount. I told them exactly what was wrong with my vehicle they went ahead and inspected it, charging me $105 per each inspection all they did was put some tape on a wire and replace a fuse under the hood. Which cost a total of $224.62 with tax. The parts total cost was $6.50. I wish that they would have called me and told me what they were going to do before they made any repairs. As you can see this is highway robbery and I wouldn't recommend ever going to them ever again. They would have had a lifelong customer if they had just done the right thing, as you can see with the pictures I was robbed.

They did a 2" leveling kit on my '19 Colorado. Dave responds to emails quickly and is very knowledgeable. Only suggestion to the shop would be communicating about any further expense from the original quote, before they do the work. Would recommend this shop to my friends for sure!

I spent the afternoon sitting in the waiting room but I didn't mind one bit since there was so much good stuff in stock to look at. It's rare to find places with that many cool parts and useful recovery gear IN STOCK these days. It's always better to see the parts in person than staring at pictures on the internet.Make this your first stop if you need something 4x4 related, I bet they've got it, or something else that will work on the shelf same day.

Awesome job done with the 2006 Toyota Tacoma! Didn't find anything wrong after 425k miles so we did a lift kit and a few things while you had it opened up! Nice work

It is my new go-to place for my truck. From the first phone call to the finished product, everyone was helpful. They will answer all your questions even regardless of your knowledge. I recommend anyone looking for off-road parts and installation to give this place a try.

After reading all reviews not much more can be said. EXCELLENT work, not cheap but FAIR and VERY GOOD. This type of work requires more time which is money and after market parts are very expensive!! Been their several times and will be BACK.JEEP = Just-Empty-Every-Pocket. Thank you for the drive line, first ever review!

Had them install a whole new Kryptonite front end. After picking it up, noticed that my skid plate on the bottom had a loose nut, so I tightened that. My truck was still bouncing and I couldn't figure out why. Turns out that this shop doesn't cross their T's and dot their I's. These idiots installed the ball joints in my UCA's upside down. They also apparently aligned my truck after all this, and it pulled worse than before replacing parts. Stay far far away from here.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

Had my project 94' 4runner there for .... well awhile, couldn't figure out why it was running rough and wouldn't idle smoothly. Lo and behold got the call it was running a ok and there she was for less than the original estimate. They wouldn't give it back till it was done right and I appreciate that. Even offered to take it around the corner and get it smogged for me. Will be doing business with them in the future and recommend them on anyone's project. Thanks guys.

I've taken my lifted 2008 Toyota Tundra here twice and both times they did an amazing job! First visit they lengthened my driveline that I needed because of the lift kit I have. I was quoted around $650 for this job and to my surprise when it came to actually pay, the total price was actually $580 making it an even more awesome pick up day.The second visit I took it to get a clunk sound diagnosed. Keep in mind, I took my truck to the Toyota dealer twice prior to Extreme Off-road and the dealer could not figure out where the clunk was coming from. The dealer literally informed me that the clunk wouldn't go away unless I reverted the truck back to stock. What a joke!Extreme Off-Road and Repair figured out I had a missing transmission bolt causing the clunking and even informed me of my rear shocks being worn out. I had them install new Bilstein shocks in the rear. After taking delivery of my vehicle the clunk disappeared! It also rides smoother with the new rear shocks installed! The staff here is also great! Dave helped me out during both these visits making it an easy and wonderful experience. If showing up to work with only one leg working isn't dedication to your work then I don't know what is. Thank you for the amazing service! I would definitely recommend Extreme Off-Road and Repair! :)Service: General repairs & maintenance

Excellent work!! Our grandson is overseas in the military and his truck is left with us.He asked us to take his Ram truck to get it lifted, new tires, wheels and power steps installed. He had se everything up with Dave before he left, but I was still nervous having the responsibility of taking it there and everything going smoothly!! No worries!I dropped it off and got a call saying it was finished! Picked it up and all is perfect. My grandson has only seen videos and pics, but is so excited to get back stateside in Oct. to see the awesome job Extreme Off-Road did! Thanks for your excellent service and putting these grandparents minds at ease!!!

Excellent shop! Very knowledgeable staff! I arrived so mad, frustrated, just done with my Jeep. I own a brand new 2017 JKU. Haven t been able to and wouldn t drive it for almost a year. It didn t feel safe. I was told repeatedly that my Jeep was driving how a lifted Jeep should. I kept telling shops and individuals...ITS NOT DRIVING RIGHT...SOMETHING IS WRONG. FOR OVER A YEAR! (After having my Jeep lifted, I actually had a steering knuckle wallow out...completely! I was told my Jeep was fine by another shop and ended up driving like that all the way up to WA state and back, up Bald mountain, with my kids, etc...with a crippled Jeep!)Almost two years later, very fed up, about to literally light my dream Jeep on fire and throw it off of a cliff, I was referred to Dave s shop. I was warned that they weren t the cheapest around, but they were the best.Since I ve been through a years worth of living hell with my Jeep, and had a ton of problems since I had my Jeep lifted (Purchased in Jan 2017, lifted in March 2017, problems started within a week), I showed up to his shop defeated. Just told them to rotate my spare to the front, balance the front out, and if they felt like it, to check the front, just a quick inspection at least would be appreciated. (It was Friday afternoon and Dave was awesome enough to get me in!)So, they completed the work requested (minus the inspection), test drove the Jeep, Dave s son test drove it, came back to the shop and told Dave that there s something seriously wrong with this Jeep. Finally!!! A COMPETENT SHOP! I ve been told for almost as long as I ve owned my Jeep (minus two months), how my Jeep drives is just how Lifted Jeeps drive. I kept saying BS. I m so VERY thankful for Dave and his shop. His very words were Your Jeep was extremely unsafe, I ve never seen anything like this in my life, there is no reason you shouldn t be able to drive your Jeep as a daily driver if you wanted to. Sadly, for the VERY first time ever, I ve been able to drive my Jeep and feel safe! My steering actually works...right! My weird noises are almost all gone!BEST OF ALL!!! I M NOT CRAZY! There really was a whole lot wrong with my Jeep, he even took videos so I would understand what he found! Absolutely amazing!Dave and his crew has some more work to do to get the Jeep to his standard, All I can say, I like Dave s standards and I m sticking to him and his crew!

Good service. My 94 Wrangler needed pinion angle correction, meaning axle welding to roll the spring pads after a 4 lift and slip yoke eliminator. The spring pads were replaced at the ideal angle, and the labor cost was only slightly above what I was quoted. All this was to complete my rear axle swap, and I expect to return once I m ready to swap my front axle.Service: Steering & suspension repair

This is one of the WORST shops I have ever been too. I took my truck in to have the 4x4 diagnosed and fix turned out to be a broken axle shaft and needed new LSD in the rear. It went well until my truck came back more broken than good. I had to return my truck 4 times after it initially got back to me to have parts they "fixed" fixed AGAIN. It became problem after problem with Dave. My ABS and Parking Break light are still on because they missed diagnosed the problem multiple times and after thousands of dollars being put into the truck I have to take It to another shop to fix their mistakes. DO NOT go to this shop. My friend had his shop their to install a body lift and they were NOT on time and told me and him several excuses of the "technician called out" mind you this was said on multiple occasions. They have LOWSY service and will OVERCHARGE and take advantage of anyone who doesn't know better.

When another repair place in Clovis tried to way over charge me I drive straight to xtreme and the owner was extremely helpful with everything pertaining to my Jeep and did not over charge me and he explained everything was very patient and did not take advantage because I was a female which happens a lot in these places. I will always trust xtreme 44Service: Steering & suspension repair

I ordered new sway bars and they took the old ones off, spray painted them and put them back on. I am not taking my truck back for them to correct the situation due to their initial work ethic. Horrible integrity on behalf of the owner.

spent 12k there, after putting a new lift kit on the truck I found out they used bolts that were too short, didn't engage in the locking nuts. Didn't warranty a broken driveshaft that they custom made and pinion even though it was well within the 6 month warranty period. Lied about opening up a used transfer case that they installed, caught them in the lie when I was talking to one of the managers after the transfer case exploded and one of the workers confirmed they did not open up the used case. Didn't seal a manual transfer case shift lever that I had them put in, so now water gets in the truck and soaks my carpet. Long story short, after getting my truck back it would go to spend another 2 weeks at there shop re doing the work that I spent so much money to have done right the first time. And I am still finding things that I had them work on that were half assed or completely wrong.

Went on the Rubicon and brought my Jeep to Dave after it started a nasty death wobble and the traction control master warning light came on. After crawling around my Jeep for a few minutes, he announced that my Drag Links were shot, my tie rod was bent and that my suspension was installed incorrectly. Since I did the install myself, I questioned the accuracy of that last statement and after calling Metal Cloak directly to confirm, I realized that this shop is full of ****. He wanted 600 bucks for new Drag links and a replacement tie rod before labor. Multiple phone calls to the shop to ask what brand of aftermarket Tie Rod they were going to install resulted in multiple, "I don't know and Dave's under a Jeep" responses from whoever answered the phone. 5 tries later I decided I had had enough.I took it to the Fresno Jeep dealership and asked them to diagnose it to confirm Extreme Offroad's diagnosis and, perhaps unsurprisingly, they said the drag links were fine. The tie rod WAS bent, however they said that it didn't need to be replaced (unless I wanted to go aftermarket) and that the death wobble would be solved with an alignment.I went to 4Wheel parts to confirm all of this and, one alignment later, the death wobble is gone.**UPDATE**Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on you. Fool me thrice, well...Took the JK here to have skid plates and a new exhaust installed. Skid plate installation went ok, but the exhaust that they ordered for my daily driver was so damn loud & droney I had to have it replaced with a quieter one from Flowmaster. They agreed to replace the exhaust, although I had to pay for the labor & shipping. They completely butchered the job. Crap welds, poor fitment, etc etc. Had to take it to another shop to have the work fixed on my dime.Never again, Extreme 4x4. Never again.

i really liked this shop. been to most of the shops in fresno and clovis and they did a phenomenal job and quickly. im not going to mention any other shops but i went down the street and i couldn't even get anyone to leave their seat. they acted like i was bugging them with work and basically told me they didnt have time for me and didnt even give me a date they could do the work. i walked out and went to this shop. not only was i treated well, the owner was very attentive, took time with me and showed me options on other upgrades i was looking for. they treated me as if i came in to spend 10k on a new lift. definitely recommend them.
