This shop was highly recommended, matching exactly the same recommendations you'll read in the reviews. Unfortunately, the experience was nowhere near to what others have received. You may think it's a one-off, it happens, move on. However, the matter that drove us to this point is not to be taken lightly and wouldn't be taken lightly by any customer. First, the shop owner(Robert) gave the instruction to call our insurance for a rental arrangement reservation and to then call the shop and provide it. Did exactly that. When I arrived, he immediately went to call Enterprise, who had the reservation, just to find out they had no vehicles. No biggie, I brushed it off and left the shop. Once I coordinated the rental directly with Enterprise, a couple of days later, we went back to the shop to drop off our vehicle for front bumper body repairs. 7 days later, the vehicle was ready for pick up. Robert did mention they would charge an additional 5% if we paid the balance with credit card, so i took exactly the balance amount to the penny in cash, we signed invoices, and then went to go check out the work. In inspecting the work done, I noticed the front bumper on the driver side was not aligned to match the passenger side. I decided to press with my index finger on the unaligned side of the front bumper to find a lot of play/movement and immediately went back inside the shop to voice my concern. While Robert did come out, he didn't bother to assess my concern and went to immediately state, "This is a perfect job! There's nothing else we can do!" and he walked back into his facility. So, I decided to pull my phone out to record what I'm seeing. A couple minutes later, Robert comes back out, approaching me & spouse very angry and upset about the fact that I decided to pull my phone to record the work performed on our vehicle. Robert blatantly stated that he's angry and insulted the fact that I was recording the work performed on our vehicle. At the end, Robert allowed his EGO get the best of him and completely dismissed customer service, us, and our honest concern we had. If Robert would've assessed our honest concern, he would've been able to see that the bumper passenger side is well secured while the driver side is not, perhaps because of the wheel well siting over the bumper instead of under the bumper like on the passenger side, not allowing the bumper to properly be seated & secured. Instead, Robert decides to tell us to leave, kicking us out, the shop's parking lot because it was 4:20pm. Take a look at the shared pictures, and you'll notice the red circles on the misaligned driver side front bumper vs the blue circle on the passenger side. Don't question or voice any concerns regarding their work performed cause you may be treated the same. This was the worst customer experience we've ever dealt with at any shop.

I was recently in an accident that damaged my 2019 Toyota RAV4 pretty well, and was lucky to find Big Kids Toy Auto Shop! Robert got my car in quickly, kept me informed through the whole process, always checked in regularly, and most importantly made sure my vehicle was as safe as it was when we bought it new. As a mother of two with a busy schedule it was a relief knowing I had someone on my side through dealing with difficult insurance to making sure we were safe and got a fair deal. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely go through them if we have any future car issues.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Electrical, Body & Trim, Battery

I cannot recommend this business enough! The entire experience was seamless. There is a reason this is the top Auto Body shop in Fresno/Clovis! They only use the very best parts and even return your rental car. I love that it is a family owned business that takes great pride in their work. Robert and his staff did a phenomenal job on my truck. He has exceeded my expectations. Robert kept me up to date with the progress of my truck and completed the work before his original timeline. Most of all he used OEM parts like he stated. He handled all negotiations with the insurance company and did not back down. Hands down world class customer service. I will be doing all my future business with Big Kids Toys. THANK YOU AGAIN ROBERT!!!!!

My husband and I bought our first car in Fresno from Big Kid Toys. Our second car purchased in Fresno was also from Robert! I currently own a Ford Edge and I love it. They do all the usual maintenance, no more and no less than what I need at a fair price!They are a family run operation with Robert and his wife running the day to day operations and their sons in the back. They are trustworthy and honest. I would recommend anyone that is looking to support our local hard working citizens at a fair price, have them come to Big Kid Toys, they will not be disappointed! Robert and Kim are a dream to do business with. I have bought several cars from Big Kids Toys. One cannot beat the price Robert gives anywhere. The quality vehicles he provides are amazing. The service received from repairs, collision repair, purchasing has been exemplary. I highly recommend going to Big Kids Toys for all your automotive needs. Robert is completely trustworthy. He will fight for you with insurance companies if needed. His knowledge is great, so you can go with his recommendations. You simply cannot go wrong going to Big Kids Toys. We will never go elsewhere.

We've purchased two cars from Big Kids Toys in the last twelve years or so, and each time was an excellent experience, and Robert always came up with the exact car we were looking for, and always at a very fair price!Just this year I had an accident in my Camaro, and I was afraid it was done for, but Robert wasn't ready to give up on it. After evaluating the damage to my car he was able to persuade the insurance company to work with us on repairing the car rather than totaling it. What I ended up with is a car that was in better condition than it was in when I purchased it ! The crew at Big Kids Toys did a wonderful job and the car looks great!

Big Kids Toys and Auto Body are very reasonable on there rates and do very good work . All the staff was very professional and did the work in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them to anyone for all your automotive work. I had extensive body damage to my Buick Lacrosse and they restored it to like new. I will be taking my cars to them for all my future repairs.

We are committed customers and will always return to Big Kids Toys because they are hands down AMAZING! I purchased my SUV Toyota Rav4 2 years ago from Big Kids Toys, and have brought it back for all oil changes here at this location. Kim and Robert as well as the rest of their staff are phenomenal in customer relations and help us with any of our needs. We have purchased 3 cars now threw their business and will as well in the future. Now to add to the business relationship we have with them, I had to go back for something unrelated to anything that I've ever had to do before - I just recently got into an accident. Now, knowing their business, customer service, and commitment to their clients, I took my car to the auto body shop for repairs knowing they would take care of me. They talked with my insurance company, offered to set up the rental car if needed, and took care of it! I got my car back in less than a week, my car was detailed, dent free with brand new parts and paint, and they fixed just because ... (my license plate which was bent - I know it's the small things that makes this girl happy, but I noticed it and thought "These are amazing people") - but the attention to detail and expert repairs, I'd, say they went a step above and beyond and for that I am thankful. I have my car back and I feel like it's brand new - thanks Big Kids Toys!

I have had my car repaired several times for different things at Big Kids Toys Auto Body. The maintenance and body work have alway been of the highest quality. The owner and other employees are great to work with, they always use quality parts and paint matches perfect. I will go back if anything happens to my car again.

I have had my personal vehicle repairs performed at in the past, and will continue to do so in the future. Always great service and high quality repairs coupled with fair pricing, leaves me wanting to return. Recently, Craig , Big Kids Toys Autobody s shop foreman did a little custom work for me. I had the plain Jain black door handles on my 07 Silverado, and now I have color matched with chrome pulls. They look great, Craig was able to color match very well and I am impressed.

This is the second time I have had an SRT Dodge repaired by Robert and his team. First time was about 5 years ago when I got a large scratch on my Black Challenger SRT. The repair was done perfectly and on time. The color match was perfect. This time I got hit from behind at a stop light in my SRT Charger. Again everything was done perfectly and on time. Robert (The owner) coordinated everything with my insurance, AAA. The repair was done perfectly. It was also detailed in a meticulous manner. It now looks better than new. Robert and his team at Big Kids Toys are the Absolute Best!!

I purchased my vehicle from BKT about 3 years ago, and have returned for regular maintenance (oil changes etc) several times since then. The owner deals directly with customers in a professional manner, his wife gives a friendly reception at the front desk, and his son provides expert mechanical/body work in the garage. The purchase was LOW PRESSURE, and easily the best experience I have had buying a vehicle. Each time I call for service, the owner invites me to bring my vehicle in that day or the next (only once), which is much better than ANY other shop/dealership I have worked with over the years. I spent time on this review because I appreciate a small business that always places customers first. I could not recommend them more highly.

I have purchased two cars from Robert and was very pleased with how I was treated. Robert will do his very best to get you the car that you really want. On my second car I took it to Big Kids Toys to get it serviced and I was in and out within 20 minutes. I highly recommend checking out Big Kids Toys before going to a dealership.Dennis Villane

Great Service! I took my 2013 Chrysler Town and Country there to get the driver side doors repaired. Not only did they repair it, they detailed the car inside and out. I was very impressed and the owner Robert is an awesome guy. Real easy to work with. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone!

I've had my car repaired here six times now. (I'm a horrible driver, I know.) There's a reason I keep coming back, other than the fact that I keep wrecking my car, and that's because they do such a great job. They make sure to use quality parts and paint on my vehicle and not just what the insurance company says they can use. The owner, Robert, makes sure that every detail is taken care of with my rental car and even returned my rental car for me once because I had to get to school. Big Kids Toys really takes care of their customers, hopefully I won't be needing the body shop again but their service department is great too. (In and out in less than 15 minutes!!!) Can't say enough good things about these guys.

I highly recommend Big Kid Toys for any auto repair. I was in a car accident and Big Kids Toys repaired my car in a timely manner. I received weekly updates on my car and I felt like I was always in the loop. They worked hand in hand with my insurance and my car was returned to me in "Like New" condition. Extremely happy with the service I received. THANK YOU!!!

I recently had to have some body work done on my car. This family owned business is the best. They did a great job and you can't even see where the repair was done. The repair was done in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend Big Kids Toys!

I was very pleased with the work done and the time frame it was completed in. I will be returning for additional work when I have a need. THANK YOU!I have been returning for maintenance on both of our vehicles and can't be happier with the service. I appreciate the fact that I don,t get a pushy pitch for additional work to be done. Richard explains what was done and provides recommendations for additional maintenance and is sensitive to my budget.03-03-16 Called to see if I could have my truck serviced and was told they had availability immediately. I arrived within 15 minutes and was back on the road within 20 minutes. Thanks for the quick service!

Wow! I'm so glad this type of business (business owner) still exists. It is seemingly harder and harder to find these days. I was so impressed with the level of customer service and attention that was given, and the fact that they are working for the customer, not the insurance company. Most other shops in town are the other way around. The work they do is top notch and they have the equipment to get a car back to factory specs. Highly, highly recommend Big Kids Toys.

Stop searching - call Robert! He and his staff at Big Kids Toys combine old fashioned customer service and attention to detail with the newest in technology to produce amazing results. My wife's Jag was sandwiched between two SUV's and she thought that it would never be the same. Took it to Big Kids Toys where they advocated on our behalf with the insurance companies to ensure the use of factory original parts and then completed the paint job such that there is no seam or any other indication that it has had work done on it. Your insurance company will try to send you somewhere else, but no one will work harder or do a better job than Big Kids Toys.

I recently had our ford edge serviced on March 3,2015. It was very easy to get an appt.. The service was excellent as always and friendly. My appt. was at 9:00am and they were finished before 9:30a.m. Their services have always been very professional. We have had our ford edge serviced at Big Kids Toys since we bought the car from them and have always been satisfied with their excellent service. Thank you for a great job.

Great service! My car was repaired and available to me quickly several months ago. They took care of everything with the insurance in order to ensure I received the most out of my claim. Whether I'm filing an insurance claim or not in the future, these guys will be my go to...

I received absolute first class service from Robert. He handled everything with the insurence for me, while keeping me updated and allowing me to live my life with out the stress of the car weighing on me. He arranged a rental for me and returned the vehicle once I was through. He even paid the difference out of pocket to assure I was getting factory parts. Don't go anywhere else!!

I am so glad this shop was recommended to me by a coworker. I was beyond impressed with the customer service I received from start to finish! Robert was so informative and goes above and beyond to help his customers! He works for the customer, not the insurance companies and makes sure the job is done with high quality. I will definitely be back if I need any other work done and highly recommend it to all!

What can I add which hasn't already been said over and over. Except by that one guy. There's always a "that one guy", isn't there....After being t-boned in my 29 day old truck, I was devastated. 6 months after the crash, I dare you to tell me which side was damaged!Robert states in no uncertain terms he works for you, NOT the insurance companies. His results support that claim. Every detail was attended to while my truck was being repaired.I'll be a return customer for sure!

BKT replaced a head light motor on my C5 Corvette . Very professional and friendly operation. Since this was done several months ago they replaced two turn signal bulbs at separate times at no cost . Changing a bulb sounds simple right, well its not. They are my Corvette one stop shop. 3-25-15 It is about 6 months later now and the other head light motor needed replaced. They replaced it quickly, no issues. Saved myself over $200 using BKT over cost from another source. Try them once get the best service out there and save yourself some money.

Amazing job. Called me with updates and finished the exact time they said it would be done. Dealt with insurance directly and made sure I was getting the right repair with dealer parts. If you need a repair definitely use them. Great customer service.
