Has been in business for a long time. We is patient and will always explain to you if your car it did not pass the smog check. Excellent customer service.Be prepared to wait a long time or go early. There are no appointments

This person who says they looked through all there invoices must be the same person that I spoke to. As you can see this person has a bad attitude, and that's the reason why I walked out of your business, not someone else's and took my business elsewhere.

I ve used this shop for years on a car that most shops wouldn t even touch. He was happy to do it and was a great guy to deal with. Friendly, great service.

My brother recommended this place and the owner is super friendly and really wants to make it a smooth and easy process for his customers. Every customer he interacted with while I was there he seemed to be extremely well liked by everyone and made sure to make small talk with you. Definitely going to be a returning customer

I wish I could give this shop zero stars! I had a bad experience right when I walked in the door. An older gentleman was behind the counter. I walked in and kindly said hi I m here for a smog and the response I got was yeah I would imagine you aren t here to say hello in a sarcastic tone. He then went to tell me it was a three hour wait and I was a little surprised because previous places I ve been too haven t had that long of a wait time (I stopped here because I had just got new tires on my car up the street and it was convenient) he then says first experience, yeah rough huh really rudely to me so I just stated I ll try back tomorrow but no way would I give this business my money! Took it somewhere else and was fit right in for a cheaper price. 10/10 do not recommend. I felt like it was honestly because I was a younger women he just took into assumption I had no idea what I was doing. Will never come here again.

This is the worst recommended place I have ever been too. I have a older car that I decided to restore ( one of my dream cars) and the smog check station I normally go didn't have any available slots open. So I was recommended to check this place out. A gentleman had came behind the counter and said that He has 3 cars before mine and that it would be a hour and a half wait plus another hour and a half to smog the car. The prices were high but since this was the only place available I said ok. I left the car there and 3 hours have passed. I called to check if the car was ready and he advised that it would be another 30 min. 30 min goes by so I decided to head out to go pick up the car. I walked up to him and asked if the car was done. He said that it will be another 45 min till the car was done, so I waited in the parking lot for the car to finish up. I saw that he was printing papers so I went inside to see if the car was done. When I walked up to him he started to tell me that the car didn't pass and that I should sell the car and go look for a new car and that my car that I have been restoring isn't worth it and down the road I'm just going to encounter problem after problem. Working on cars has been my hobby for over 10 years. All I needed to know was if it passed or didn't pass and the reason why it failed and nothing more. Between the wait times and the unwanted comments I will not recommend anyone to come here. Worst customer service I have ever experienced especially for a smog check.

I had my truck smog today and Allan is very cordial. I like the location in downtown Clovis if I need to wait and eat or walk to the library. I just got in when he wasn't busy. I highly recommend him.

One man show. He's friendly and got the job done. I've taken 3 of my vehicles there already. He doesn't take appointments so it is a first come first serve. But, I was happy with it. If you don't want to wait there for the test, you can walk across the street and get some food in Old Town. Nice guy.

Great place to get your car smog done. It's owned and run by one man so there is a "one car at a time" issue. Because of this I recommend showing up early. He does older cars which several places no longer do.

I have gone to old Al's shop for years and he runs a one man shop and personally works on each car that comes in. Al will give you a fair test and do his part to help you along. He is a Kind old man. Professional. Respectful. Highly recommended. Staff of one Respect. Fair cost at All American Smog

This business is a small outfit that you can drive by if not paying attention. I stopped to get a smog check without an appointment. The gentleman in duty was courteous, friendly and helpful. The quote he gave me at the beginning was the price I paid at the end. Try him out if you need a certificate!

Unprofessional, rude and a waste of time. I called ahead as I had just left the dmv who said I needed a smog I called ahead to let him know I was on my way he said no . I said I m just down the street and he responded I already told you no.. I ll gladly take my business somewhere else

The inspector was very professional and trustworthy. A great choice if you've been given the runaround by other people in the area who want to charge you a bunch of money to fix things that aren't broken before they'll pass your car. I'll never go anywhere else for smog as long as I'm in this area.

This place place is just what it appears to be. A hometown SMOG testing station. Nothing more nothing less. Run by a gentleman named Alan that will get you out just as quick as he can. He even provides sitting and a complementary beverage for each customer.

Very good service but sometimes you do have to wait to have your car done . It is best to take it in early in the morning and then you can go home and then come back later and pick it up. the owner is very nice though and very competent.

First come first serve, no appointments. It's a popular place, for good reason, so there was a two hour wait, but he let me put myself in line then leave for most of the wait time and come back for my inspection. Solid service

Truly All American! Alan offers discounts for armed forces and law enforcement. Took my wife's car somewhere else once and it was a nightmare! I'll never go anywhere else again.

Ran over 2 hours behind my appointment time. By the time they were done with the Smog on my truck, I had waited for 3 hours. Then owner proceeded to have a 15 minute conversation with the customer who wasbefore me. The customer was not asking questions either. Poor customer service and time management. This is my first and last time using All American Smog.

Have taken my car here the last few times I've needed a smog. Will not go anywhere else. The owner is friendly and quick. The shop is a tad hard to find, but once you find it, you won't go anywhere else for your smog needs. 10/10 will smog again.

Great service, very friendly, and the lowest cost I've ever had for a smog test. Great magazines to read while you wait and a free beverage to boot. Highly satisfied
