Just a little place it's like a quick stop. For example, when you have forgotten something, Bucks place is the stop .

Buck's is what I imagine a general store would have been like hundred years ago on the frontier and it is certainly the kind of store that every small-town should have. The prices are incredibly reasonable. The staples are always well-stocked and the selection of other products is diverse and changes enough to keep things interesting. The folks working at the store are friendly and helpful. As the morning coffee club makes clear, it really is the hub of this community. Thanks, Buck, for being here and doing what you do!

Bucks is 6 1/2 miles from me, but I often drive there just to see his and his sister Carol's friendly faces. All the customers are super, too!It's a small store, but has everything you need in a pinch. Gas, propane, dvd's and some good ice cream choices (although the selection is small, he gets some good ones in there!)The selection might be small, but you can find the basics for breakfast, lunch and even dinner with some imagination. Plus, it's a beautiful drive. (My only complaint is that he only sells that crummy white bread.)

Make sure you look right. Don't show up looking like a biker. If you ride,ride on. Buck don't want your kind in his store.

I called in for a general question and Buck was very helpful. With all the road closures due to fires this route is closed to me now, but I will definitely be stopping in when the road is open! Thanks

Small store up in the Clipper Mills area. Buck has always been nice to me whenever i pass through. Best store for miles.

Cheapest gas on the mountain! The owner is very nice and courteous. Great selection for a small town gas station.
