I lived there for a few years and while I was there the bathrooms where closed the Internet was very slow or not working. The rules where not enforced to everyone only who they picked on. And gate was broken most of the time. Gate code everyone had so lots of random vehicles. Also supposedly no certain breed of dogs and lots of people had Rottweilers or pitbulls. So they choose who could have that breed or not. Not too mention that the office was always closed about 80% of the time while operating hours. Not worth the$700-$750.

Absolety loved it. Feels safe with kids and a dog . Very clean and pleasant. The manager reminds me of my dad. They work with first responders that travel for work. Great rates.

very good park, I recommend it, super quiet, very safe for children, very adorable small pets are allowed, the office service is excellent, the morning is always available for the tenants whenever they want or need something, no matter what time they are, they are always aware of what is happening. highly recommended

We had to stay here due to the Clayton fire taking out our whole neighborhood and our house, prices are very reasonable. The park has been upgraded from our last stay 6 years ago, we feel it is a very safe area due to the management. All the utilities have been upgraded, due to the heat right after the fire we had to have 50AMP power to run our AC, it worked very well.Management has always been willing to work with us, very happy and will be returning.

The manager Jerry is the rudest person I have ever met . me and my husband were helping a friend today and he drives up screaming about our service dog who was in our car being completely unprofessional to the point other people had come out of their trailers as he continued to cuss .the sad thing is that they said he yells at people all the time like this . I can't see how the owners of this park could have such a unprofessional person and rude represent them .ime and my husband owned a business that was lost in the campfire and a person like him would have been fired on the spot .i hope the owners read this and see that he is not good for their business. There are many other beautiful places to stay around are lake and I highly recommend anywhere but here .

I want to put a big thank you to Glinda, Jerry and Jim Fields. I had to make a sudden trip to San Francisco because my docs found a brain tumor. Glenda and family have stepped up to take care of our trailer and watching my 3 small dogs. I will be here for 5 or more days for testing, and because of them and Roberta, my husband is able to stay here with me. I can't say enough good about the Fields family they are the best managers at Clearlake Resort.

Nothing but good ! I've been here for 3ish yrs & would have no reason to leave. That there is a coded gate we don't have superflous traffic. This is invaluable in concideration of safety for the kids, animals & everybody. Cameras help also for our security. It's quiet, never have had a problem with loud music, also invaluable.. Anderson "Marsh" on the south side is nice too ! Managment , Glenda, Jerry & Jimmy are great people, completely easy to get along with personally and professionaly. Just all good ! Zero complaints.. RT P.S., washers & driers, handy ! showers good too if ur rigs goofy..handy ! All recently paved road, nice !

In the past month I have visited 4 times and have seen amazing improvements of the grounds. The manager was there to answer questions and educate us on RV'ing. I have submitted an application and hope to have the opportunity to call it a temporary home someday. I like the fact that the management screens all applicants. I am afraid I did not submit a complete application. Mgt., : I have other income and assets, and a bit of debt. Are you considering our residency ? Thank You, Angela Chapman & Thomas Daly

My husband and I came here for a night and it was very subpar for the price. I'm not usually one to complain or even do reviews because I'm a pretty simple person that doesn't require too much, but I really hate deception and lies, so this is worth it for me to write about if this might save others from this same issue. There are some definite false claims and misleading information on the website, so be aware. They claim to have high speed internet of 66 mbps, but we tested the internet to be 0.6 mbps. It kept going out. They also charge you to take showers, which isn't mentioned on the website and the light didn't even work in the bathroom. Additionally, when I first called them, they said that they didn't have availability. I should have taken that at face value and walked away, but ended up showing up because we were tired and needed a place. When we arrived, there were plenty of spaces, so not only did they lie on their website, but they also lied on the phone. They do have the basics, like electric outlets, water and sewage, so at least they had the bare minimum, but not worth the price paid overall. I wouldn't recommend unless in a pinch, which we were in

Clearlake Resort, formerly. GARNERS RESORT was a great family-owned resort to visit, camp, swim, fish, stay & play. That is until the New owners took over and really changed the resort into the most unfriendly and unwelcoming resorts I have ever been to. The manager is rude, mean and not a nice person. My family rented about three campsites and after a series of confrontational visits from the manager, we decided it would be best to go elsewhere to camp. I strongly recommend not camping at Clearlake Resort. You can find better places to take the family camping.

Beautiful spot but really dirty. I cleaned my own site before I let the dogs out. Was too dirty for them with piles of dog waste, cigarette butts and trash. Would be goregous with some TLC! Loved the lake birds and the lapping of the water. Paid way too much given the state of failure.. promised wi fi wasn't even turned on. Had to pay extra for showers, pool/spa area was like an abandoned dried up ghost town.

We were very lucky - we got the site right at the lake and also we were there at the first day under new management, they did their best to accomodate us for 2 nights, although it seems most of the people are long-term there. We loved it! Nice people living there and it overall seemed to be under reconstruction so I guess in few weeks this place will be really awesome!! We loved our stay.

Today My Wife and I were working in the Park with a Customers Trailer, when the Manager(Jerry)pulled up Screaming at My Wife about our dog,Which is a Certified Service Animal that was In Our Vehicle,He was Screaming enough to have Other Guests come out of there Trailers, and said some Very Offensive Words and Proved to be Very Unprofessional at his job,Weve talked to many people over the years who will not return to the park nor would the Recommended this place to future Campers, He was Very Rude and Used Vulgar Language that was Very poor for a Manager Position,I DO NOT RECOMMEND This place whatsoever, it's a Beautiful park, but run by a Very Unstable person.we were threatened and afterwards many Guests came over to is stating they would speak to the Authorities if we needed them to,and that he is always Rude and has a Temper..I've Contacted the ADA,and will persue the Violation Act regarding my service Animal and plan to see him in court soon..Thank You...Theres Other Nice places on the Lake ...

Zero stars! What a dump, stay away from this place. Trashy & run down, really disappointing! Arrived at 2:00 PM on Friday, the store was closed and no one answered the door at the 'office'. We wound up not staying.

Screw the owners of this place. They rip people off at a ridiculous rate including any fire victims that were residing there. Not to mention their attitude is the opositte of welcoming.
