Zachary and the folks over at Pastors Autocare are amazing!! I don't have an expensive car & it wasn't an big job, just a power steering pump. But when I tell you Zachary and his team give above and beyond service and results... it is truly an understatement! As long as I'm in this Citrus Heights, I'll be bringing my cars & money to Pastors! Wes H.

Easy to make appointment. Friendly and helpful staff. Got oil change and maintenance ckeck. They previously helped with tire pressure issues.

I am posting this for my son who went into Pastor s last year to have work underneath his truck done. He brought in the parts and he paid for them to do the job and he just crawled underneath the truck last week with his cousin to change some springs and found out that the things that he was supposed to have done from Pastor s was not done. He never thought that he should look underneath the vehicle to see if the job was done he trusted them to do it. They kept his parts and never did the service. He told me what s the point of going back now after it s been over a year. This is our favorite gas station and I was very upset after he told me what it happened. We love everyone there, but we are not happy with the service that they gave him at the auto shop. He ended up taking his truck into somewhere else today and had to pay for the parts and service all over again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This place is great. I rented a truck and tow dolly. I had a problem disconnecting the drive shaft on my Pathfinder. Paul told me to to come in and he would take care of it. He did it quickly and with no problems. That got me on the road a lot faster than the couple hours it would have taken me to keep messing with it probably bust a bolt and then call and get it repaired then leaving several hours late for my out of state move. Cant reccoment them enough. Paul your the best!

I am always hesitant of auto repair places. My family owns their own auto repair business and my father has been a mechanic for 30 years. I moved away from them and struggled finding a place I could trust the same way with my cars. Zach and Brandon are amazing, they are great at their job but they also are affordable. They definitely not trying to drive up prices and over charge. 10/10

This is one of our go to mechanics. The other is the Car Czar. This is super close and you just drop off the car in the morning and pick it up when it's ready. They can also get picked up after hours from the gas station, which is convenient for busy schedules.Pete is great, haven't seen him in awhile so I'm not sure he works there anymore. I have put a lot of money in this place because i have four cars that need maintaining. I've never felt overcharged. There was one time where my rear drum brakes were worn for so long they had to change all the parts basically but that was mostly our fault for knowing the problem and ignoring it. If you can fix things sooner rather than later. This is also a good place to get a second opinion if you're going to spend more than 500 on a repair.

I always get great service here. And they are honest!!!I brought my vehicle in for brakes all around. I signed the paper authorizing the work. I got a phone call an hour later; they said I only need the front brakes done. I am so grateful they didn't do unnecessary work.I won't take my vehicle anywhere else.

We rented our RV for the first time and got our truck repaired as well at Pastor Auto Care.Their customer service is excellent and very detailed with explanation.They are very accommodating and price is very reasonable .We live in Elk Grove but will definitely come back to this shop if needed.

I had to drive the in-laws across the country and needed to rent an RV. I was a nervous wreck as I've never driven a RV and just generally a trying time. The staff were incredibly helpful and made the journey easier and more comfortable. Knowledge on the area and great to any RV novice.

I am frankly shocked at the ultra-negative reviews about Pastors. We've used several auto shops in the area and have found our favorite mechanic. We not only bring all of our cars here, but happily (and confidently) refer our friends here as well. I can't tell you how many times we have brought our vehicles to Pastors only to have them not charge us or upsell us for simple things that other shops would have. That kind of honesty doesn't come around that often.I can't speak for anyone else's experience but I have a feeling that I represent many other happy customers that are too busy enjoying life now that their vehicles are back on the road than to go out of our way to make someone look bad. My car had water in the gas tank. I didn't know any mechanics in the area and am still fairly new to this area. By chance I called up Pastors Auto Repair and talked with Paul. He was extremely knowledgeable and straight forward with his answers. We came up, together, with a plan to address the water in the gas tank. He was always professional and cares about the work he does and the work he did on my vehicle. The price was fair, he did an impeccable job and talked with me about any concerns he had in repairing the problem. Would definitely recommend again.

Loveit! I go here because their parts and labor costs are much lower than any other places I've called. They also have friendly, knowledgeable mechanics that don't try to rip you off or upsell you. This is also the ONLY place I've gone to that didn't talk down to me because I'm a female. I've brought all my cars here for years, and even though I've moved to Sacramento, I drive here for all of my car repairs or concerns. You can also go into the gas station and get a specialty coffee made for you at the coffee bar while you wait. Very convenient, friendly, and efficient. The ONLY place I refer friends or family to.

Rented an RV from Pastor, as the preferred dealer for Cruise America. Picked it up on Saturday morning, and when we arrived to park for the weekend, we realized the backup battery was dead. This means the generator won t start, which powers everything inside the RV. After calling Pastor 2-3 times Andy leaving a message, they never returned my call. So I called Cruise America and they told me to go buy a battery and replace it myself. Ridiculous customer care, and won t be referring them to anyone. They didn t seem to want to do anything to assist when we returned the RV.

I love this place! I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years and they have always been honest with me about what my cars do and do not need. I refer them to all my family and friends and everyone has been happy with them.

I came in to get my Rack and Pinion complete assembly done on my 94 Honda Civic Ex. I had all the parts with me, just paying the labor and Power steering fluid. My Honda was done great. I took my 03 Chevy Impala in there for a Crankshaft Position Sensor and harmonic balancer to be replaced. Once again i have all the parts. The worker calls me and tells me other things are wrong with my car. I am the 1st owner on this car, i know what's wrong with it. I never asked for a diagnostic onmy car. Just fix what i want fixed and that's that. He told me i am not working on it. There is to much that need to be done. I said woow okay. I just need thease parts replaced to get my check engine light off to get tags. Mind you, they have a check engine sign in front of their business saying if this lights on we will take care of it. He was yelling talking about my car and this and that and the third. I would never go back to this place ever ever again, very rude disrespectful. The owner was doing the same.....

I came to get my oil changed after rave reviews from my son. When I sat down to wait I commented on the temp and ,Bobby behind the counter, raised his voice and said "well your wel come to get right back up and go outside if you don't like it". I apologized if I had said something to upset hom and that's when the screaming started, "I'm the one that has to work here, not you! I've been here 60 days in a row and it's my choice what the temp is. It's gonna be 90 degrees today so just deal with it. PLUS I'VE BEEN UP ALL NIGHT" He walked out to the service area and slammed the door. I don't know if the work is good, but I can say I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my life. I was afraid to say anything else because he was so agressive. It truly scared me to death.

They were rude and I only gave them a one-star on a previous review.but they made up for it on the second visit and apologized so I've rewritten my review to give them four stars. No one's perfect but at least they were accountable.

Local sort of place where they will talk to you about the issues with your car. Had a couple visits and have been happy. Haven't had any big work done tho.
