Update on my review:I took my Tacoma in for a transmission service. It was a last minute stop with Sammy and he was able to fit me in right before the holidays.Got my A/C recharged by Sammy. He was able to take care of it in a timely manner. He was super nice and explained the whole process to me. I would highly recommend him.My friend also took his SUV to him for a shifting issue and he was able to help him out as well.If you re looking for a great honest repair shop, look no further.

This shop is amazing. I recently purchased a 1986 Jeep that I knew was going to need some work and I needed a shop that I could trust. Eric, the owner is extremely professional and always responsive to any questions I have. Blue Sky Smog and Repair will always be my go to shop for any repairs I need going forward.I recently went in for some transmission service and ended up rebuilding the transmission through his shop because it was such a great price. The work was done on time and on price with the original quote. While he was working on the transmission I asked him to check for additional maintenance items. Eric noted some issues that were not urgent but were going to be a problem down the road. Ultimately I decided to have the entire engine replaced. This is a major repair that presents all sorts of challenges given the age of my Jeep. Finding parts is difficult and sometimes requires some custom solutions. Eric and the mechanics at the shop did an incredible job, found a remanufactured engine with a warranty and handled everything from removal to install and tuning. I couldn't be happier with the result. My Jeep runs like a dream now and was worth every penny. Again, the cost to replace the engine was on price with his quote and was considerably less than other shops I checked with.I can't recommend this shop any higher. It is difficult to find a place with the attention to detail, experience, and tools to deliver on repairs big and small at a reasonable price.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Oil change

Excellent service. I've went twice and Sam was very respectful and polite. Great pricing I definitely recommend this place. I've been there twice. Once for my hub and now for my mounts. Sam actually was able to locate a mount that should've been replaced in which I had just had my mounts replaced and right after I left my car was having problems I brought it too Sam and he quickly was able to find the issue. I'm very grateful to Sam thank you for fixing my Toyota

I needed service on my Ford explorer so look up znames of shops the can do my services I call greenback automotive spoke to same I ask a few ?? He answer me back I felt his knowledge and onesty since I have been in the tray all my life I made ann app. Waiting in his place did what I needed om carBery satisfiedHis name is SameI hilly Recomend his work

One of the finest and most honest mechanics I've ever known. He has saved me literally thousands of dollars in unnecessary and improper diagnoses by other shops (including the dealership) by finding the real problem and fixing it. He is an expert on European cars. He has done flawless work on my e90 BMW 328i and my 1994 Volkswagen Corrado VR6. I never had a "go to" mechanic because I did a lot of the work myself. I'm not wanting to crawl around as much anymore..so I decided to look for a proper mechanic. I saw the ratings on this shop and had to give it a try. Long story short...he is a very capable, honest, knowledgeable and personable mechanic. Sam is a stand up guy to work with. My Tacoma has experienced many problems ranging from Drive Shaft to Rack and Pinion and Control Arms. Same gave me a free estimate to assess the problem and made quick work of my drive shaft and replaced it. He is honest and fair price not to mention incredibly time efficient. Incredibly good service! They didn t try to upsell me or talk down to me (as a woman). They explained what they saw, showed the damaged parts and provided near term and long term recommendations. They even spent some time looking up costs for an estimate for work that is a bit down the road. They were pleasant, friendly and efficient. To top it off, and I don t know if this is standard care or I got a first-time customer special - they gave my car interior a spectacular cleaning! My 370z was throwing a code and timing was off. Other mechanics kept telling me to get an engine swap. Eric was the only one with enough patience and experience to open the engine and fix it completely. Smogged my Chevrolet and my Toyota, fast, professional and went the extra mile with a smile. I would recommend these guys to anyone. This is a valid review and have no relation to anyone on the premises.Feel good about having this shop repair or smog your vehicle.I see reviews that they are too busy, but, that's good, it means people like them and trust them.Hope this helps!

This shop is AMAZING! Erik takes such great care of my car I don't go anywhere else, he also takes care of my niece's car. I bought a car for my girlfriend recently and immediately took it to Blue Sky where I was taken care of by a knowledgeable mechanic who wasn't just trying to make a quick buck. Eric and his team are exceptional. They were able to diagnose and service the issues without hesitation. Service charges and billing were handled accordingly. I went to this shop for a smog check on my 28 year old Mazda truck. The car passed, but I mentioned to the owner Eric that the truck had been having issues with randomly stalling and the engine light came on. We previously had 3 other service centers work on it (including a Mazda dealer service department) and NO ONE could figure out what was wrong with the truck. Eric and his guys offered to give it a look. It took a little bit of time and some trial and error (the truck was old and modern diagnostics won't work on it) - and in the end - they figured out what was wrong and fixed it! Our old reliable Mazda truck is reliable again - thanks to Eric and his crew. We can't thank them enough, as the car has been in our family since new and has some sentimental value. I have been going to Blue skies for years now and I trust no place else. Eric and his son Rilley are the best . Always fair and stand by their work. I stopped in here for an oil change and I totally recommend it. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. As an added bonus my oil change was cheaper than what I typically pay at one of the chain shops. I'll be going back for sure.

My o2 sensor light came on so I took it in for a diagnostic test and they fixed the problem for only the cost of the test. They had to remove my dash to reset the check light that comes on every 90,000 miles.
