This place deserve 0 star, 1 star is to much for this place. couple mounts ago l changed my tires here. At the end of the service they charged several extras without asking my permission. which is bobble check, disposal tire, tire warranty etc. my question is why you guys are not asking to customer l need those service. l hate those kind of surprises. l got mad and l said whatever and l left. 5 days ago l got flat tire, l saw screw on tire. l put spare tire and went to Walmart same location. there was no line. time was 10.30am. they ask me, do l have an appointment ? l said no l just got flat tire. they told me l need an appointment . we are all booked for today. there is no cars it wont take long patching tire. l said you guys are charge me insurance for flat tire. how l am l going to guess l will have flat tire couple days earlier. l told them l cant travel on freeway with spare tire, it is not safe and l need to go work. they told me sorry we cant help. l ask manager and they ignored me. l went inside and ask manager. and talked with him. he said we will help you but it can be several hours. l asked him why it is just screw it wont take long. he told me 11 am they have an appointment. time still 10.45am. if they are busy l totally understand and respect. they don't want to help walk in. l went another tire shop in Chula vista they fixed my tire under 10 min. l paid $20. l wasted my money for tire insurance and my valuable time at Walmart. this place is waste of time. if so many people giving 1 star they should change something.

My call was answered in a timely manner, I inquired about availability of tire pressure sensors and set up an appointment the same day. Manager Joel was very informative, attentive, tenacious and professional following through to completion even while short staffed. To me Joel showed me a commitment to customer service, satisfaction and his craft. I will make this Walmart Auto Care Center in Chula Vista Ca my go to service, which is 22 miles from home as long as Joel or another manager of Joel's caliber is in charge!

The Auto techs here at Walmart don't get the credit they deserve I feel they are very professional and I've been pleased with the service they've provided me, I know they don't rebuild engines or Transmissions but the service they do provide is well done I noticed even their safety procedures like checking the torque on the lug nuts made me feel pretty confident doesn't look like they skip out on safety, if you make an appointment even though you don't buy the tires there they will change all four of your TPMS sensors for a total of just under $130 and I don't think they even make money on that they're just charging you for the part I was very impressed with the deal because local tire shops were charging me $100 each, I like supporting small businesses but sometimes you can't just spend money like that

Literally worst experience all around. First it took 20 minutes to even talk to anyone to make an appointment. I make the appointment for tire alignment. I drive all the way there and they say my appointment was made for an oil change??? And they don t do tire alignment. The guy insisted I made the appointment for an oil change and even showed me the appointment was for an oil change instead of apologizing for the mix up on their end. I just waisted my time and my gas for no reason. How does this even happen? Why couldn t they just tell me over the phone they don t do that and why would they schedule me for an oil change??? Don t even waste your time going here, I d rather pay more money than have to do this again.

Today 3/10/2024 at 12:00 PM the security man driving around was patrolling and as he was driving he was on a phone call as I was walking inside the store with my family and the man seem to not be aware of his people around him because of the phone call. I come out of the store after my business there and here he comes again driving around and on the phone, as he passes by I made sure to share what I had in mind "Hey sir... get off your cell phone" (this was an older man) he shouted something but could not understand and kept walking as he kept driving, this man all of a sudden appeared cutting through car spaces to make sure he reach out to me and said "Why do you care?" I told him it was not professional and it didn't for sure look good. He then had a nasty attitude towards me as a client and said he was going to call the cops on me! Dear Walmart please make sure to start watching this security guard of yours and his values!

don't bother to call them for tire changes. they never pick up their phones to actually set up the appointment. been trying to get a hold of someone for hours now.

I have an appointment for rotation at 10 am. It was 10:30 and still my car was not even received. I went to ask what was going on, the only person that I could find ask me to wait for a moment, and he never showed up again.What is the point of asking for an appointment if nothing is coming out of it?I left at about 10:49, no service whatsoever performed in my car. I still have abot 6 cars in fron of me and bo hope of being attended despite of having an appointment.

Went here for an oil change. The wait wasn't that bad, about 25 mins before my car was in the bay and about 20 mins for the actual oil change. All the mechanics were polite and knowledgeable but....whoever put in the new oil didn't tighten the oil cap completely. So when I left for a 400 mile road trip and stopped for gas, there was smoke accompanied by oil all over the motor and the exhaust manifold :/

It was great because while waiting for tires to be put on we got to do our vision exam. Great pair of Michael Kors frames, transitional and tinted. With Medicare our cost was 15.00 plus did some grocery shopping in a clean well stocked store.

I have a tire installation at 7am. I was here at 6:40am. And made the line. No one was set for tires.They opened at 7:10am. I was the only one for tires.I was ignored for 5 minutes. And saw they were not going to be able to honor my appointment with the lack of employees.Being time sensitive, I decided to just pick up my tires to get them installed in a timely manner else where.It s 7:30am currently and I m still standing at automotive waiting to speak to someone to get my tires!This place is highly unprofessional and will not be taking my business here anymore.As there are several Walmarts around me!

This place is super unorganized and incapable of performing their services. I made an appointment with them, waited an hour and decided to just leave since I had already wasted so much time.Having an appointment means nothing to them!

Didn't have my oil filter. Brought my own. Still charged me for the one they didn't have. Didn't have the oil I wanted. Didn't check the fluids on my truck. Didn't check the tire pressure. They use the cheapest oil filters on the market.

Got here at opening and they opened an hour late took 5 more hours to finish the oil change. They sold someone else s pre ordered tires

Horrible. Moron at the tire desk picked up and pretended to be an angry customer and then hung up on me. I called back and he put me on hold. This Walmart, this tire center, this whole place sucks and I hate these employees.

I'm a mechanic and sometimes I don't feel like working on my own cars. I took my car here 3 times in a row and they never changed my oil filter.

The three guys working here tonight (2/28/23) just before closing time saved me! I had a low tire pressure light come on and they filled up my tires for me. They were also super nice about it. Feeling very grateful, but wish I caught their names. Thanks for squeezing me in!

Got to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the price and by how helpful everyone was and it was not that long of a wait. Came back a second time late afternoon and there was no line! They were done in a snap.

Came in for a oil change they took my car in about 730am and hour later they told car was ready. So lady was trying to ring me in wasn't going thru because my service was canceled. They canceled cause they didn't have the oil filter so David technician didn't try to do nothing for me I could have still got my oil change without a new filter. Waste of time David does not have no customer service skills

So I ordered tires for a good price through wal mart and the installation could be added on for a competitive price. Sounded great. That's where everything went wrong.If you care about your wheels AT ALL then DO NOT go to Walmart to get them installed. First of all, I had a 10am appointment and it wasn't done until 1:30pm... the appointment time means NOTHING to them. They just do the services at their convenience and there was a mile long Oil change line which came before their APPOINTMENTS...?Then the service is GARBAGE. I assume it is their equipment but EVERY single freaking wheel got scratched / gouged in a perfect circle on the wheel from the installation.If you care for your car at ALL then do NOT go to Walmart for your tires. It's not worth the couple dollars you might save. Literally ALL 4 of the wheels have these scrape / deep gouges all the way around them in the exact same positions in a perfect circle from their machine.

THREE WHOLE HOURS IN THE SUN to wait to get in and another hour to get a simple oil change, then they try to up sell you and don t want to take No for an answer. I got the cheapest one. No upgrades, they don t deserve it.

There customer service over the phone was absolutely horrible when I called, attempted to purchase tires, all they kept doing was ignoring the call, then answering and saying please hold, almost the 3rd hour someone answered and actually talked and went to look for the tires put me on hooooolllllllddddddd. Good bye tire center you lost a customer the tires I found a way better deal. Your customer service lost you a couple hundreds of dollars$

I went to Walmart Auto Center to get my vessel an oil change. Well the full oil change. With the FULL oil change they check all your fluids and tire pressure. I'm going to say the fellas that did mine, did a halfass job more like a rush job. If it were some years ago Walmart did great o changes on my car.

It took 3.5 hours for an oil change. I went to valvoline the next day to get my transmition fluid changed and they saw that walmart auto center didn't tighten the cap all the way. Overall was a bad experience and I hope they do better in the future. I will not be returning although they have great prices. Just not worth it. It's unfortunate.

I have a blown back tire under warranty, made an appointment for 12 noon, and was finished 45 minutes after, the original Douglas all seasons tire cost me about $90.00+ and $10.00 for hazard warranty, the new one $60.00 plus $10.00 to renew the hazard warranty.

Asked several times if my tires where ready only 1 car was ahead of me when I got there. I brought carry ins meaning no mounting or dismounting, I literally watched them service and install tires on 3 cars that where behind me I asked 3 times, till I got upset and asked for my wheels back then they said no that they where already installed, but when I asked again they weren't ready, I waited nearly 2 hours that is absurd. When I came home to out the tires in my car which was only two, one of the balancing weights fell off when I set the wheel on the ground ridiculous. I've never had such terrible automotive service I don't understand how this place has good reviews.

Went for a simple oil change. Had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes. When I was getting ready to leave I notice they charged and used a cheap Fram filter when I gave them the stock filter to use. Worst part about it is they had no intention on giving it back until I said something to them. Definitely not coming back.

James was very welcoming. Set up a movie and offered a water. Made the wait not so bad. Customer service was great.

The Auto Center is behind the Walmart on Cstreet.At first you don't know where to enter. The men didn't even offer to assist or help. The four of them were busy talking until I asked for assistance. Then, went inside to find nobody at the desk. Waited for someone to assist and no one showed up. Went outside again, still no assistance fortunate enough that I was the only one there. Finally, when I got some assistance, 15 minutes later. The flat tire could not get repaired and they didn't have what I needed. Would I recommend or go back? NO.
