Outstanding!! I looked online for a shop close by to take my 98 GMC to for diff and trans case service. After reviewing several, Precision had an excellent rating. They got me in quickly because of an opening and did excellent work, pointed out things that need repair in near future and they were honest and good to deal with. Great family run operation. Again... outstanding service!!

Hector, Jenny, and everyone at Precision go out of their way to accommodate me, and I can be difficult. I've never had a bad experience with these people. They always treat me with kindness, consideration, and hardcore respect.Regarding their work and their prices, the work is professionally done and I consistently pay about 20 - 30% less than at other shops around Chula Vista. I highly recommend this shop and its workers.

I recently found myself in need of good quality mechanic services, and as a result of all the positive reviews I read online, I ended up at Precision Motors Auto Repair. Prior to taking my car to Precision, I had conducted my own non-professional inspection of my car. Once at Precision, my car was thoroughly inspected and I was delighted to hear the "problem" I thought my vehicle had was non existent. I could have easily just left, but as a result of Hector's honesty, I elected to have them perform all of the manufacturer recommended services to my car. I can say without reservation that all of the work performed on my car not only met but exceeded my high expectations. I plan on soon taking my second vehicle in for service.Thank you Hector

Great place, and excellent service. I took my 02 Tahoe there a few times, and never tried to upset me on anything and were completely honest with me. I will always go to this shop, for all my car problems.

Hector did a great job explaining every issue. His team solved my TPMS issue when the dealer told me I needed new sensors. Solved my DEF issue and low level coolant issue. Hard to find places that will work on diesels. Great job.

Believe me as I m writing this review , I ve taken my vehicles to other Auto Shops and I wasn tSatisfied. Precision Motors Have very good mechanics and do very good work on engines , electrical , I have taken 2 other cars to get service and was just amazed how well and in a good difference in the way my car was ServicedHector the owner and his staff were very helpful .Hector serves grate service. Good man

This place is the biggest rip off ever. They dont go by their own listed prices. Appointment times are useless. Lies and poor service. Hector is the worst. Your better off taking your car to Mickey Mouse Garage!

I am relatively new to CA. and was struggling to find a trustworthy, fair and honest independent shop to take my daughter's '95 BMW 740iL in for repairs; specifically, idle was horrible and white smoke was coming out of my tailpipes. Being mechanically inclined, I knew what the possible problems might be but left it to Hector of Precision to diagnose it for me and he gave me some options to consider. Long story short, he had the job done in a day by replacing the rear oil separator valve. He also prepared a short list of relatively urgent items that should be addressed in the near future. Straight shooters! Reasonable rates (not low but not high) Finding a shop to work on a complicated engine like the one in our BMW isn't an easy task and I consider this to be a good fortune in having found Precision Motors. Normally, shops don't have the capacity to complete repairs as quickly as they did and I was prepared to leave the car with them for a week at least. It isn't any wonder when I picked up the car today that there were all makes and models of cars parked in their lot waiting for attention.....from '56 classics to late model imports. All I can say is check them out, tell them exactly what's wrong with your ride and hope for the best but plan on the worse. Mechanics aren't magicians, they can only do estimates based on what is known and what is currently happening to your engine or suspension. There is always the possibility that when work begins, they might find a related or unrelated serious issue that could ruin your day. But be it good news or bad news, I wouldn't want to hear it from anyone else but from Hector or Jenny. I will be taking my other vehicle to them too!

I do not recommend this place at all. Took my Toyota Prius for a simple check since my electric motor had some issues; the car worked well, it ran smoothly and it just had some damage to some cells. After over a $400 revision I began experiencing multiple issues. The check engine light came on, which was not on before it came in and the A/C was left DISCONNECTED, I had to sell the car because they were pushing me into buying a rebuilt engine and battery, which would ve costed multiple thousands of dollars and was not in my interest. I simply wanted to repair it or at least see what exactly was the issue, and now i m left with the doubt, do they really know what they re doing? are they overcharging? and why is there shop still in service?Service: Engine repair

They do outstanding work. In and out in one day for a clutch replacement on one car and diagnosed a mysterious problem that a couple other shops didn't want to touch. Videos and photos accompany the estimates. I'd highly recommend them.

This family own business is beyond a nightmare to you, they literally wasted my time and money. Very bad working attitude, especially hector the guy is a huge con artist. Be smart people! and do some research before going into this nightmare of wasting time and money. And they don t even care when they mistakenly break something of your car.

Hector, his wife and family treated me with respect and courtesy they even dropped me off at the barber while I waited to get my car fixed. I originally went for an oil change but Hector convinced me to get two new tires, wheel alignment, radiator hose, new thermostat and spark plugs to fix a leak that he pointed out to me. I ended up paying $1,230.73 for the work and afterwards I returned twice because the tires I bought from him kept reporting low tire pressure he filled them with air each time. Since then I was only going to work and home as I live in CALI solo and then COVID hit and I have been home since March 4th. I got in my car today and it s shaking like crazy. I check under the hood and the coolant is bone dry. I crawl under the car and the leak remains that was suppose to be fixed months ago. I have called Hector but couldn t get him so now I am waiting to see why the hell did I pay over $1200 to end up with the same problem?

My husband was referred to Precision Motors, after having nothing but headaches and multiple problems with the 76 auto shop in Bonita. The experience at Precision Motors has been EXCELLENT and we have only great comments about everyone that works there. I will recommend Precision Motors to all my friends and family.

Love precision. Brother and sister carrying on their father's business - with honesty and integrity. I used them years ago (under the father) and was happy to see they were still in business when I returned to SOCAL. Even better, they couldn't be better people. I run an ODB diagnostic before going in, and I have never had them try to upsell me on service the way many dealers do. My two cents.

For 3 days I tried to get a quote for new rear brakes and they kept putting me off saying oh it s coming give ten minutes. Big red flag for me and they never did call me or text me the quote. Needless to say I got it done elsewhere in one day . I ll never refer anyone to these people.

Owner charged $45 to look at the brakes and said he would apply that to the alignment. Wanted to charge $1,500 for all brakes on a Q7, so I decided to do the brakes myself and still get the alignment. He said he no longer could do the alignment because his "alignment guy" wasn't working.... so he kept the $45. I did the brakes myself for $500 (expensive parts). Got the alignment done for $60 in La Mesa.
