Had an appointment @ 10 for four new tires. Alex greeted me and was very polite. Was in and out in less than an hour. Great job!

I m literally writing this review while standing in line waiting for someone to help me at the front desk. I had an appointment that I was on time for - thirty min ago. Now i get to hang out at the store and hope they can finish before they close in two hours, when originally I was told they would have me in and out in under an hour. The prices are good, the employees are polite, but honestly unless you want to spend hours waiting you re better off going to a smaller place with less customers. Costco needs to schedule fewer appointments or open a few more garages to accommodate the demand.

Fast tire installation and professional staff found at this H-Street Costco center. Make an appointment to save you a lot of time! Thank you Alex and team! Excellent!

While the price is good and I checked. The installers know what they are doing, but they need to focus on the job at hand. they keep getting interrupted and go off on other tasks, and a 1 hour job takes 3 or 4 hours to do. The installers should be doing that and nothing else. If you watch them, they only work maybe 20 minutes on your car out of an hour at best.

Don't assume that because this is Costco, everything will be OK. The desk is almost always understaffed, appointments are vaguely honored, and the road hazard warranty they require you to buy is almost worthless. I will not be buying tires from them again, because the competition is actuslly better

I ve never had an issue with Costco Tire Center until today.I had an appointment set for 5 PM, I arrived at around 4:45 to check in. When I gave the associate my keys he said it would be about an hour, I said okay great.I start to do my shopping around the store. First getting non perishable items and then get dairy products and warm food etc. By the time I finish shopping it s 6 PM.I get to tire center to check on my car since I haven t received a call yet and the associate said he was going to check on it. He comes back and tells me that they re barely starting on my car and it s going to be another half hour. At this point I get a little annoyed, because they at least didn t give a curtesy call to let me know if was going to take longer and the associate didn t say anything about the delay (no apologies). He said I could wait out in the back for my car and they would hand me my keys. I went to the back and I kid you not they did not start on my car until 6:15. The whole process took 17 minutes (rotating tires), I timed it.At this point I ve waited almost two hours (6:35) to receive my car. What s the point of having an appointment and still waiting two hours? When I get my car the associate basically leaves it in the middle of the road when he clearly sees I have a cart of items and a minor with me. I set the cart to the side, park my car load some of the groceries and head back inside to get the others exchanged. When I get to the customer service desk, I ask the associate to speak to a manger which she calls over Bobby (young latino) and explain the situation. When I tell him as explained above, all he does is stares. He does not offer any solutions or even any apologies for what has occurred. I asked him if he I can exchange the items (dairy products and warm food) and he very condescendingly says you know we re going to throw these away right? I m sorry, I don t want to risk my health for keeping items that have been refrigerated almost an hour at this point. When I told him I don t want to risk getting sick he said you won t get sick, Could he really guarantee that? Either way that was not an appropriate response to give to a customer especially in a managerial position. I was able to do a refund, but I was not about to go back inside and get items and wait online again. As a manager, Bobby should have offered to aid the customer.I would just have appreciated an apology and a simple exchange of goods. Management and associates need better training if this is how they are acting. Hopefully it gets better next time.

I'm a fan of Costco for most other things, but not the Tire Center. Had an appointment for a tire check, but said they would call me in 30 minutes. When the service advisor called, he told me that in order to get warranty credit for the tires I bought 3 years ago, I would need to present service records of tire rotation (every 7K miles) from a dealer or tire company. I told him I maintain a spreadsheet of that information, and I could show that to him, but he said he needed hard copies -- because apparently those can't be forged. I added that I could dig these up at home, and he said he would need to see that before he even looks at my tires. HE HAD NOT EVEN LOOKED AT MY TIRES yet. I told him I would get tires elsewhere.Prices are good, but it's apparent to me that they want to make it difficult to redeem on the tire warranty. The 70K mile warranty sounded fantastic when I purchased the tires. Honestly I get better tire service elsewhere, where they honor the warranty outright. I do not recommend the Costco Tire Center to anyone.

This afternoon I was driving home and saw my tire pressure signal was on so I stopped by the air pressure machine to check it. I have never actually checked it myself, so I must've looked pretty lost when an associate who happened to be on his break came and offered me help.John checked all of my tires for me, and found my rear passenger wheel was extremely low, probably due to a nail. He advised against me driving home with my car in this condition, and allowed me to leave my car on a walk in basis. He quickly took care of getting my car in the shop. I still waited the normal amount of time, but luckily he was there to help me or who knows what could have happened driving home.Thank you John! I appreciate your kindness and everyone's assistance in helping me today.

Four Stars based on price and installation especially when there is a sale. You pay for it by waiting long hours for new tires or even a rotation and balance. If you decide to shop while waiting, surely you'll be done shopping before your car is ready for pickup. Service is very slow at the desk as well. Sometimes there's nobody at the desk and since your vehicle is on the other side of the building, they frequently have to run in and out to go see it. Tire warranties are pretty much useless unless you pop the tire early on. Your best bet is to wait for a sale with the instant rebate and 1 or free installation. I tried booking an appointment on their separate website but was unable to. All in all if you're comparing, the cust service, knowledge, and wait times/appointments are much better at the guys across the parking lot.

I had originally gone across the way to Pep Boys to have a plug installed into my tire. Walked as I was told to wait 3 hours until my car would be finished. As I walked across and saw the Costxo tire center, was done in 30 minutes, the staff, as always was awesome and was $10 cheaper! Don't forget about this great service Costco provides. You do not have to be a member for this, however it will cost just as much as Pep Boys!

Checked in at 10:15AM for an 11:00AM tire rotation appointment for my SUV . Attendant at the desk is uncaring and unprofessional. 2:00PM and vehicle wasn t even touched yet. I asked the attendant at the desk how much longer do I have to wait and he said it will take at least 3 - 3 1/2 hours more in addition to being 3 hours late already. VERY POOR SERVICE.

I go to Costco for everything. Mainly because of the service and prices. I buy food, medicine, pharmacy, flu shot, vision and glasses. I mean you name it. They're almost my primary lol. Anyway... When our Jeep needed new tires, I shopped around and noticed everyone was selling them for about the same. I've never bought tires at Costco, and while they had them a little more expensive. I bought them there, again mainly the service. All four tires with installation came out to around $850. I scheduled my appointment and showed up a week after my appointment and about 3 days after I received confirmation that the tires were delivered.I show up, not knowing what to do, so I pulled up to the tire garage. Since it was my first time there, I was looking for directon. As I pulled up I noticed three guys talking, they look at me and say "do you need something." With a surprised face I simply said "I have an appointment and I wanted to know what I need to do. They told me to go inside and see the tire guys. So I did. I go inside to the tire counter and the gentleman there is nice, but seemed annoyed. I hope it wasn't me, I just got there lol. Anyway, I ask him how long the wait is and he says "about one and a half hours." I expect a wait, but that seems long if I had an appointment. I didn't mind, I asked him if I can borrow the keys so I can get a couple things out of the car while I wait. He said yes, and I went to my car. I must have taken 10 minutes to come back and he said that they're waiting for me to put the car in. I was confused, but happy. As I gave him my keys, someone from the tire shop called me and says "we are waiting for you, you're killing our time." As he was about to say something else, he paused and starts talking to someone in the shop, he says "o these are the keys." He comes back to me and says "thank you." And hangs up.I shake it off and grab my two toddlers and go walk around. After about an hour and a half, a bunch of free samples, and stuff I don't need in my cart. I come back to "sorry sir, only three of your four tires were delivered." WHAT! I'm starting to get upset but I make it a point to control my emotions. One of my employees recently asked me "how do you do it, why are you never mad." Lol. My emotions is all I have control over, you take that and I have nothing. Anyway, they're like super nice now asking me what I want to do. We figured it out, but now I need to take a second trip to Costco for tires. Costco dropped the ball here so many times, and even though I had a terrible experience with tires (which I probably won't ever buy here again) they are still really good at other things.I wish they would have called me before my appointment to tell me my order was not complete, instead of wasting two and a half hours there. I wish they would have called my like they did with my keys, instead of letting me walk around for one and a half hours eating free samples. I wish that somehow they attempted to right a wrong, instead of telling me to come back. Nonetheless, I will be back bcuz I'm still missing two tires. I paid a lot of money for the tires and I was expecting something different, but all I got was free samples, stuff I'll never use, and two upset toddlers. Sorry for the long story, but had to share.

Had a flat tire fixed there. They said it would take an hour so I went to shop first. After paying for grocieries (after an hour), I asked the tire services desk if my car was done and the guy said they would call me without even checking my paperwork. I waited outside for 30 mins because it was raining and I had a cart full of stuff. I finally went to their shop and found out my car was done 45 mins ago. NO ONE CALLED ME. They even messed up the glove compartment looking for the wheel locks. It would not close normally like something was stuck. I had to figure out ways to reach in there and found out paper and my ID badge fell behind the glove compartment and it took me a while to get them out. The tire center did call earlier to ask where the locks were. I would have appreciated it if they called first to ask where I put them before looking through stuff in the car. Service was free but I wasted a lot of time.

Every time I buy a set of tires from Costco I never get disappointed. The customer service is always good and the prices are always great. I am very pleased so I keep coming back to Costco. Long as they keep hiring great people and give him good prices I will continue to come.

Very quick service. I arrived just before the shop opened but one of the employees saw me in the parking lot and asked me if I was there to drop my car off. I told him I was and showed my paperwork. He grabbed my keys and I ran (literally) back to my house which was only 20 minutes. They called me during my cool down to tell me the car was done. No complaints.

These guys saved us a ton of money. We had a nail in one of our tires, and the dealer wanted to change it for about 200 dollars. Went to Costco and they patched it for 10 bucks. They even aired the tires up and torqued them to factory specs. These guys will do right by you!!

I used to like them but I am on yhe road often,Imagine if I get a flat tire on the roadHow can I trust in them again?because Costco negligence my security was in danger because they put a different brand (Micheline) and totally worn out spire tire instead one of the old ones (Bridgestone) they just removed from my truckHow can I trust on them?I came to Costco and they didn't resolved anything. Neither at least a discount on the new tire I needed to get.

Ran over something and ruined my tire. They replaced my tire under the road hazard warranty and I was on my way. Costco is great.

I have tried five times to contact them directly to see if they have something in Stock I could buy. I'm on a donut so it's imperative I received a response. Something! Nothing, the office manager even took my number and said someone would call me back...um nope. It may not matter to a big company like Costco, but you lost me as a customer.
