This was my second time using CHT. First time was just a transmission flush and this second time I got my transmission replaced. I brought it in Wednesday of last week, Greg and his team diagnosed it same day, let me know what the issue was. They got the transmission from Kia. Picked it up on Tuesday of the following week and it was done by Tuesday afternoon. It runs great. Had no issues with Greg contacting me with updates or when the car was ready. It was done & waiting when I went to pick it up. Both times I've had a good experience with this place. I dealt with Greg on both occasions. Never any issues. Thank you CHT for the help.

Greg and his team are honest and AMAZING!I wasn't ready to give up my Silverado crew cab just yet. Called several places and CHT was the best fit. I allowed C.H.T. to replace my transmission, runs like new. I was dealing with a family tragedy at the same time and I didn't need to call Greg, he called me with updates. PHENOMENAL COMMUNICATION!

Just had my transmission worked on about a month ago. All sorts of problems. Truck doesn t even shift into park when you want it too. Zero communication. I mean zero! I had to call once a week for over a month just to see what was even going on.Update: 4/27/23After spending almost $4,000 to fix the issue it keeps coming back. Didn t even want to go back to deal with this shop knowing my truck will be gone again for over a month. Come to find out, I go under my truck to see the issue and this circus of a shop broke the locking clip and attempted to put it back together. No reason I kept getting the code back. I fixed the clip and the problem is fixed.

I had to leave the one star, but it would be zero stars if I could. Greg and his team are NOT transmission specialists. They couldn t properly diagnose my 2000 Corvette and robbed me out $3k+ . Stay away from these rats.

Thank you Greg and the team! I took my 1997 Ford Ranger manual transmission to them thinking the Synchros were going bad. Turns out the clutch, slave cylinder, and the throwout bearing were completely destroyed. They put all new parts on, and now the truck drives like new again! They will be my go to transmission shop.

Greg and his staff rebuilt my '03 BMW 530i transmission. Price was as quoted and car runs like new again!! Treated me like they had known me for years. Thanks guys

AAMCO? I don't think so. If it's a transmission issue there is only one place I will ever go. Rick and Greg are the very best at diagnosing and treating transmissions. They are good honest people who don't believe in taking advantage of others and always get right on top of your problems and treat them like it's theirs. Good prices and top quality craftsmanship is what you get at Chino hills transmission.

Family owned, family friendly.. that's what I like. A clean shop, and every man has plenty of experience. I'm back for First trans service, and alittle more pumping up the shift pressure. I've referred Chino Hills Transmission to neighbors and friends and they both were satisfied customers.

I wouldn't, especially if you have a dodge diesel, sat for a total of 4 months and was skipping cars in front of me. Halfway through the wait, when he did get to it, transmission lasted 2 weeks. I towed it back for an additional 2 months and did not touch it. Charged me for a full rebuild when I had done it previously, and he only had to buy a quarter of the parts... then yelled at me for just wanting an update because he would never call me, and snapped at me how he was losing money on it.... this shop should not be in buissiness. Towed my truck away after the 4th month, and thank God I did. Thanks to him, they improperly did my valvebody causing all forward clutches to burn out in 2 weeks. And now I need a new 600 hp build. Thanks for waisting 5k of my money. Wouldn't even fix the leak which was the main reason I took it in after I did it to begin with. Don't bother their hands are garbage.

Chino hills transmission is a great honest and reliable shop there fast and very professional, I have a classic car with a old style transmission and I called at least 8 shops none wanted to touch it they only wanted newer car transmissions, chino hills transmission said no problem bring it in and man I m glad I did they did a great job didn t pad the bill and got the work done pretty quick if I could give more stars I would thanks I ll definitely be back and spread the word Service: Transmission

I have had them work on all my trucks and they have held up great! Greg is honest, fair and the best transmission mechanic in Southern California! The shop is always slammed with business, that says a lot. I would rate 10 stars if I could.

Been going there for a couple years. Greg and his crew are good at what they do. I send all the company vehicles to them. They also rebuilt the trans in my Ram 2500. They are busy so call and set an appointment.

These guys are awesome! I was having transmission problems, so I looked around and noticed this place had good reviews (higher than normal for automotive shops). I called and brought it in. They took a quick look and we set up an appointment to deal with it a couple days later (the car was still driving, so that was okay). Once I brought it in, they did everything they could to reduce costs, but gave me a worst case quote if they had to rebuild it.My transmission was completely shot, but they still honored their quote. And stuck with their price.The only annoyance I had was that it took a long time for them to finish my car. I know that they had to rebuild the transmission, which took a while, but they pushed back the date they said they will have it back to me more than once. While I appreciate their desire to do it right, it would have been nice to have been given a more conservative estimate so I could have better planned on my end how to get temporary transportation for myself.

THE BEST!!! Since moving to the area almost a year ago I haven't been able to find a shop worth a damn. after getting hosed a couple of times I finally got a good recommendation to Chino hills transmission from someone I know and trusted. Let me tell you, these guys are the real deal and they know their stuff. Their pricing is right on point and they treat you just like your friend that they've known for years. I drive highly modified cars and I pretty much live and breathe underneath these things all the time so for me to say that and find a shop that I trust completely is a very rare thing and let me tell you I trust these guys completely.

This crew was awesome. Bunch of old school guys, honest, thorough and great communication. I was from out of town, purchase a vehicle, and had to get on the road back to Idaho. They got me in quickly. I had scheduled a transmission flush and they took the time scan vehicle elsewhere for roadworthyness (no extra charge). I only wish I could find more places like this back home. I'd certainly use these guys again.

Excellent place to get fit and learn how to eat small portions. I've lost over 70 pounds here. The trainers are personable as they try to learn everyone by name. If you want to get fit, this is the place.

Today I took my 2013 nissan sentra to the shop to have service done since I just bought the car. It ran a bit funny and seemed to have power issuses. Its has a CVT transmission in it( not the best in the world) it sounds like a high pitched blender especially when trying to get power. Call the shop he quoted the price and I dropped it off. They did excatly what they said they were gonna do, kept to the original price, no upselling and explained what the issue was. The previous owner once checked or serviced the car, oil and filter parts were extremely dirty, they cleaned repaired and filled and now drives like different vehicle. The shop personal where very nice and personable, I will definitely be going back and most definitely will be recommending them to everybody.

I was referred to Chino Hills Transmission by Star Tech. I spoke directly to Craig over the phone and he couldn t have been a nicer guy. He was very informative and provided me with some great options. If you have any questions regarding transmission issues, he is your guy.

Took my 2012 Ram 1500 here after AAMCO on Riverside was unable to properly diagnose and fix my issue. It did take Chino Hills Transmission a few weeks to finally nail down what was causing the error codes. But to their credit, they did so as a means to keep the cost of the repairs down. They tried to keep it simple until they had to make it complex. They also took the time to call my extended warranty company and were able to get the repair covered. Greg is very knowledgeable and personable. He's not out to take your money. He's just there to fix your car and fix it right.

Very reliable and specialized mechanics here for a fair and reasonable price. Because of this, they are always busy. Expect to wait a week or more for them to get to your car.

They care about the customer. I took my 1995 Thor motorhome in for a transmission rehaul in January. They beefed it up and made it stronger than it ever was! Greg helped me out and his knowledge of transmissions is through the roof.I also called the shop just two days ago after having some trouble starting my motorhome. Greg and Rick helped me over the phone in troubleshooting and identifying the issue (bad starter). I wouldn't think twice taking any of my automobiles back to Chino Hills Transmission.

Awsome place to bring your vehicle to. Great guys all around. Took my truck in to get it checked out. Had it finish in good time. Boy did they do a great job on the transmission shifts better then when it was new.

Drove 30 miles to this shop on a referral. Gives free diagnosis is extremely honest and fair went over the top and replaced fasteners that were already missing no charge. Would highly recommend this shop!!!
