Today they I sent my driver to pick up a reman sam chasis on an online order that we created. They gave him the new one instead which is like 50% more. I sent him back again and they gave him a new one again. You need to watch your online orders and will calls with them because they will switch them for higher priced items. This isn't even close to being the first time they do this.

Ordered part on over the phone the night before. After driving an hour to get there, No record of order and no part in stock. Placed the order again and had to return the next day after 12. Store is small and cluttered. Whittier is much nicer.

So far, so good. They are very busy and I am on a waiting list to get my RV engine looked at. Spoke with Michael and he gave me great service on the phone.

take our truck with chp specific notes of what is to be done they call it's ready three days after and we show up and the job is incomplete and charge us 1700 for labor and a incomplete job they want to charge us again to do what was asked to be done the first time around and charge us labor again they want us to pay twice for their mistakes and incomplete job three days have been lost supposably did a full inspection & didnt change the things that needed to be change only a ubolt and inspection 1700 oh and labor

They Deserve 0 Star Because I was there 07/06/2023 8:15 Am . My truck was Loosing power I went there on 15 MPH with 4 way Flasher there was young Girl on the Service counter she is really rude and I was telling her my truck is loosing power and there is check engine light and she said we don t have time to diagnose you can Leave your truck here we will check after 14 days what s the problem and we let you know after 14 days . I was telling her can you open the gate and I want to make a U turn and I m going to other Freightliner and she said rudely oh we can t allow you to go inside for you turn you have to go all the way back up on the road . They don t respect anyone I think they need special training to how to respect customers and How to talk .

Will give 2 stars because of the other people that were kind enough to help me while I was in the facility. Other than that the young lady named Ashley was very rude. Ignored me and acted like I wasn't a customer. I don't know how this place handles professionalism, but she was on a personal call with her cell phone being loud. The conversation had nothing to with work, but mostly profanity and gossip. I commend anyone there that has to work with her. Other than that everyone else was wonderful.

Awful service here at the one in Carson they don't even actknowledge you there you see all employees just laughing having a good time while there's a long line don't waste your time or money here. Go somewhere else if you can

This place is awesome. Dropped my RV off Monday at noon for warranty work that I considered not trivial. They told me about 2 other items that needed to be addressed with 1 of those being non-trivial. Got a call Friday at 0830 to tell me it was ready! Holy cow - and for warranty work at that. Quintin, Martha, Netty were terrific to work with. Couldn't have been more pleasant or professional.

I shopped @ other dealerships but nothing amounts to Velocity. Excellent customer service, from sales personnel to parts department. So the next time or your first time when buying a commercial vehicle make sure you stop by & see Roman ; he s a great & honest person who s not just looking for a quick profit. Be sure to tell him Raymond sent.

Friendly staff, free coffee, quick service and quality work. A little hard to find if you have never been. Extremely busy so expect to leave your truck for work. Carry all the relevant parts in stock and can purchase to go as well

Aj, Brian, Fuentes, and Louie always give excellent customer service every time I come in here. They know their job very well and and are friendly. This location is amazing and always has what I need. I appreciate everyone here for their hard work

South Bay Truck Center wouldn't be the same without our sales rep Dario. He went out of his way to make sure we were getting the best deal on the 5 trucks our company purchased. He has stuck with us through any and every issue we have had, and took it upon himself to make sure we are satisfied long after the sale.His service is professional and gave us all the information for our new company and our first purchase. His knowledge for the trucks is uncanny. I felt I was in good hands dealing with Dario.Bottom line, I would not buy a truck from anyone else.

OK I bought a truck back in June at velocity carson truck Center 2017 freightliner Cascadia they lied and said they did a vehicle inspection they didn t The truck Airlines was cut under the truck so I could not pull any trailers Took it back to velocity put it in there shop and that s where it s been and they still trying to figure it out So if you re looking to buy a commercial vehicle DO NOT go to velocity in Carson

Even with unexpected problems from my truck they worked in a timely manner and got be back on the road quickly. Very nice and helpful staff made the experience better.

It takes for ever to get aome help on parts for the truck always long faces from the service guys upfront like if we gonna ask parts for free.

FRAUD! I called in and spoke with Nelson for a price to relearn my turbo on my 2008 ISUZU NPR. After asking me vehicle info he quoted me $170 after asking his manager. I drove the truck in a couple of hours later. Nelson was on break and was now dealing Marisel. She put an estimate in front of me for over $500. I advised her of the conversation with Nelson and she confirmed I was indeed quoted $170. A couple of days later I got a call that my truck has a plug and play turbo and they couldn't relearn. I asked if I owed anything and they said the original quote for relearning the turbo was still due for troubleshooting. I asked if they found the problem and was advised it would be 3 hours total to diagnose costing approximately $400 not $170 they are already trying to charge me for nothing. I begrudgingly agreed. They hit me with a $5,000 estimate including replacing the turbo that was just replaced. I refused. Then they advised me that my truck was disassembled and that I can either tow it out disassembled or pay an additional $600 to put it back to the way I took it in so I can drive it back out. Basically holding my truck hostage unless I paid the additional amount I never authorized. I have spoke to the manager of the service department and they will not budge. They go by the names Velocity Truck Center and also South Bay Truck Center. This place is a FRAUD and a SCAM. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

ALWAYS BAD EXPERIENCE WITH FREIGHTLINER CARSON. STAFF SHOWS GOOD BEHAVIOR IN TALK NOT IN WORK. YESTERDAY I DROP MY TRUCK ALMOST 5 PM JUST FOR TRANSMISSION OIL CHANGE. AND THEY SAID THIS IS 4 HOURS JOB AND WE WILL GIVE YOU 10 AM AND NOW 12 PM AND I AM STILL WAITING HERE THEY DIDN'T FINISH JOB. AND ASK ME WAIT OUTSIDE IN COLD WEATHER

After 2 days of diagnosing my truck and they couldn't figure out what's wrong and charged me an arm and a leg for the diagnosis. I came to my home town dealership and they figured the problem out within the 2 hour express assesment. Don't go to this place.. their labor rates are highway robbery.. and they're out to rob and rake every dollar from any and all customers.

I've had the pleasure of working with South Bay Truck Center for the last couple of years and they have been great. The professionalism and attitude the salesmen carry is beyond what you would expect from a vehicle dealer.Dario: Heavy duty truck sales with some medium truck sales. He is very no nonsense about his deals getting the best options for all his customers. He's very knowledgeable concerning the trucks he sells and equipment his customers need. If his customer needs a truck right then but with specific item added Dario will go out looking for the specific item whether it be an additional diesel pump for a super 10 or an extra large tool box from a company like myself, Dario will get it done.

Seen a cascadia on truck paper that i liked drove 4 hours to go buy it and as i was lookin at it noticed it had no apu on it pictures advertised showed apu and better tires(did ask luis if apu worked he said yes) what im thinking that they uploaded old pictures .turned out luis was laid off day earlier but albert tried helping good sales guy

I had really bad experience with Velocity. We had our truck for repair and third party company was paying for it. At the end of the day we decided do not repair it, and third part was going to take truck back. We had our own equipment in a truck and I called Velocity before going there and verified information if I can come and take my own tools. Customer rep. asked someone and told me Yes, I can. We showed up next day, Marisela Estrada surprised us, by saying we can not take our items without permission of third party. Is this my problem that you don't know how to run business? I have seen her in office to how rude she was with other workers and clients. Red flag for owner.

My uncle bought a used truck from them that went through their useless "inspection". Of course, they would pass it since they have an incentive to sell the vehicle. Salesman Joshua Martinez said they'd cover any problems within a month. Well, within 30 days we have had two major issues with the truck that have sidelined our business and they deny ever stating they'd fix anything and basically told us to kick rocks. Never ever use a shady company like this. It's disgusting that they'd rip off an individual who paid a lot of money for a product that doesn't work properly when they make a ton of money. It's sickening. Never do business with a company who would do this to someone.

The sales team are very good people don't be discouraged by some of the negative reviews you may have read,they will try their best to get you the truck you are looking for. I even witnessed a sales men buy a customer his triangles and fire extinguisher what a great sales man!

Very slow service. I waited for a week to get my repairs done. In the end they didn't fix the problem and charged me nearly 2000 USD. Bad service and even worse communication skills.
