I cannot say enough good things about Buck Family Automotive. Jeff and his team are always reliable, honest, and friendly not to mention they re super knowledgeable and any time I have questions - whether it be about maintenance or repairs - they re always patient and explain things in a way that I can understand. As someone who has a ton of anxiety going into these kinds of things, and as someone who knows nothing about cars but only wants what s best for my own, Buck Family Automotive always made me feel at ease and I always left knowing that my car was really well-taken care of. They were extremely through. Gave me a list of all things wrong to approve or deny. Service takes a bit of time but it s because they do a full inspection. Great customer service as well. As long as you have the time to drop your car off and aren t on a time crunch. This place is great.

Amazing shop and mechanic. Gives detailed reports on what is going on with the car. Is great at explaining it to me even though I know nothing about cars. Easily the most honest mechanic I've ever known as well. He spent a lot of time with me on the phone before I even brought the car in answering all of my questions clearly, thoroughly and thoughtfully. I have had great experiences here at Buck Family Automotive. They send an invoice with estimates via text to conveniently expedite the process before they work on the car. If they notice something additional may be good to fix or replace they will update the estimate and allow you to sign off on the changes electronically. They have excellent service and get the labor done quickly. I highly recommend taking your car here!

Jeff B. and his staff are very thoughtful and considerate mechanics. Jeff communicates vehicle issues promptly and clearly. I've had really great success in taking my car in to diagnose a problem and repair it. I recommend his service. I also like how he manages most of the invoicing and paperwork through phone/texting. Great service, very knowledgeable, and fair prices. I was short of time so Jeff gave me a slot for an oil change at 1 pm the next day - I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes! When he commits to a time, the job is done! Highly recommended.

We had such a great experience at Buck Family Auto. My husband works a lot so when my running lights stopped working while he was away I had to find somewhere to take my car. We found Buck auto and was so pleased with how well we were treated! They have an awesome waiting space as well for littles ! we will definitely be back! Enjoyed our first experience at Buck Family Automotive. We were referred by a friend. I called on a Friday and they were able to get us in for an oil change and inspection that very next Monday. The cost was exactly what they quoted us over the phone and they were ready for us when we arrived, a big plus for me. They also provided a detailed report of their findings and work completed, including pictures. We will definitely come back for our next service. Thank you!!

I could not be happier with Buck Family Auto. We took an aging vehicle in for a safety check before my teen started to drive it. We also had a thermostat replaced at a very reasonable price. Great service!I had a pre-purchase inspection done on a 2008 Honda CR-V.Jeff was helpful from the start, explaining his service and accommodating a very short time frame to complete the inspection. He was professional and delivered on time.His report was thorough and he gave me additional information on common issues with this particular generation and others that I had been previously looking at.Most importantly, Jeff was generous with his time when I asked several follow-up questions and had an additional visual inspection request while the vehicle was still at his shop. Had work done today at this place and was blown away with there professionalism, honesty , values. They greeted me with a smile , gave me a fair price, completed the job early with high quality work and went above and beyond to satisfy me. i highly recommend this place for good hard working honest mechanics. We bought a 2006 CRV a few months ago. The AC didn't work, and with summer coming up we needed it fixed asap. We had several people recommend Buck Family Automotive to us. I let Jeff know I wouldn't be able to come in as I was working and my fianc� would be bringing it in. Jeff took videos of what was wrong with the AC to show my fianc� as well as sending it to me so I could see what was wrong with it while I was still at work! Never had a mechanic do that for us before! He explained everything to us, the repairs it would need and how long it would take. While he fixed it, he even repaired a dent in our bumper! Unfortunately, we're moving out of state and will have to find a new trustworthy mechanic now. We took both our vehicles in for inspection and oil changes before we left. Jeff told me we could always give him a call to ask questions to make sure our future mechanics aren't taking us for a ride. Thankyou for such positive experiences!!

let me 1st say I'm a single woman with little knowledge of cars who has been taken advantage of many times by mechanics. So I called for an appt for a diagnostic test. The man who answered was very pleasant and friendly. As I explained my issue instead of taking my $ he told me to do what I had planned to do 1st instead of going to him. He said he wouldn't feel right taking my $if everything wasn't working correctly on the car 1st. It's kind of hard to explain but what isn't hard to explain was his kindness n honesty. I truly appreciate his advise n his interest in saving me $ or making more for him! I highly recommend this business to anyone needing honest work with great customer service!! Thank you!

I stopped by Buck Automotive and met Jeff, the owner. I asked if he would kindly check the air in my tires because I had tried to fill them myself at the gas station after noticing they looked a bit low. It s not easy! I wasn t sure if I did it correctly. I didn t have an appointment, I just knew of this place from Facebook and thought I would see if he could check my tires. Jeff was so friendly, especially since I just popped in. He checked real quick and filled them up a little, told me I did a good job on them though, answered a few questions I had, and I was on my way. I ll definitely think of Buck Automotive for my future car needs. He could have told me he was too busy, or made me wait a long time. He did have someone show up as I got there. So it was really kind of him to check my tires right then. I m not due for an oil change until Feb, but I ll definitely be back. I just wanted to write this quick review to say how nice Jeff was and that everyone should take their car to this shop if they are looking for a new place, or just want great service! Hopefully I ll get to meet his wife Rosie next time!

Phenomenal Shop with Excellent Customer Service.Jeff is an absolute professional. He walked me through what was wrong with my power steering pump. He explained the process in a way (as a non car person) that I could understand. He kept me updated every step of the way and got my car running like new again. I cannot say enough good things about Buck Family Automotive. Would absolutely go back and would highly recommend.

Jeff went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I originally had made an appointment for a standard oil change and tire rotation. My battery ended up needing a jump, so the morning of my appointment Jeff and his wife came to jump my car, then took it into the shop, and even returned it when finished! I was able to pay over the phone and the customer service was just incredible. It's nice to know you're not being taken advantage of and that you're actually getting good quality work. All I can say is What took me so long? I found them knowledgeable, honest, professional, prices were reasonable, they really care about their customers and they totally understood how I feel about my 16 year old car (it's gotta last), nice people too! My pleasure to support this local Carmichael business today and going forward.

I have taken my car to Buck Family Automotive several times since they opened and I have been very pleased every time. The owner, Jeff Buck, is very knowledgeable, has integrity and aims to make his customers happy with his work. I am a widow and senior citizen and I don't have to worry about being cheated, I highly recommend Buck's Family Automotive.

Brought in our Grand Cherokee due to overheating and they were able to diagnose and repair it at a very reasonable price. It turned out to be the fan not working properly which was not an easy, or obvious, diagnosis. We are appreciative of how they communicated what they found and what needed to be done. The videos included in their email was a nice bonus. It's clear to us why all their reviews are 5 stars, and here's another. Definitely recommend this shop.

Left my window cracked for air, mistake, someone tried to pull the window back & get in. Ruined my window regulator! Jeff fixed it, reasonable & inbetween other appointments! I can trust Jeff to do it right. I'm a senior, he takes good care of my car. Oil change coming up next week! Then AC tune up. Jeff always explains everything to me and takes photos so you can see he's doing what he said he'd do! Very important to me, I trust him completely.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

This is an awesome "mom and pop" type shop. I brought my van in to get the gear shift fixed and it was fixed in a very timely way. They have a great waiting area with 3 rooms ome with a table and coffee/tea and light snacks, a children's waiting area and a living room. Its all beautifully decorated! They do a quality job on the vehicle for a fair price and they are very helpful and kind.

I took off early from work to get my oil changed and every other place I stopped said not today or need a appointment but when I walked in here I was greeted with a smile and cheerful attitude. I asked the man behind the desk if they do oil changes and he said yes but by appointment only. I asked when I could get in and explained that I took off work to getmy oil changed and he said hold on let me see if I can get you done right now and it turned out to be the owner himself!!! The owner took my car right away!!. Bucks took the time and made a effort for me and treated me like I mattered unlike the other shops around this area who wouldn't give me the time of day. I will keep coming back here for as long as I can and would highly recommend this shop to anyone and everyone!!! BUCK FAMILY AUTOMOTIVE!!!! 2 THUMPS UP AND DEFINITELY A 5 STAR SHOP!!!
