Was smelling fuel and decided to bring it to the shop rather than try to find the issue myself. It was much bigger than I thought it was but I m glad that I brought it to G & M Auto Repair. They were quick with servicing my car and the price for repair was well worth it! Customer service was great and Richard is very friendly. If your car needs ANYTHING, G & M Auto Repair is the absolute best - incredible customer service, seamless appointment scheduling, fast turnaround time on repairs and trustworthy pricing.I can t thank them enough for the work they did on my Dodge Charger (all done in 4 hrs.).They were mindful of my work schedule, kept me up to speed on repairs/costs, and took the time to explain all aspects of the repair in detail. Great shop, made an appointment at 9:00 a.m for brake inspection. Dropped off my vehicle, received an estimate 2 hrs. later , approved the estimate and vehicle was repaired and ready for pickup that same day. When my car didn t pass smog the gentleman recommended G & M auto. I went there and I asked for Brad. He was super nice, super friendly and helpful. Since this was unexpected I asked if he could give me a general idea of what something like this could cost. Based on my specific situation he was able to give me a general spread of what it could cost so that I could have a worst case scenario in my mind. Very helpful for me! They were able to call me sooner than expected and order the part right away. The car was done very quickly that week and in the afternoon when they called me they offered to go take it for a smog so I didn t have to make an extra stop. When I got there to pick it up John greeted me and once again super nice and super friendly and very informative. I paid my bill and was on my way. And the car is running great! I will be back as a returning customer of any of my cars need maintenance in the future. They seem like they are family oriented, friendly and honest people. I am all about small business, quality work at a fair price and good customer service.

I drove up from the San Fernando Valley. I saw the reviews and decided to give them a shot. It was worth the drive! Really easy to schedule my oil change with them. When I arrived they were very friendly and welcoming. I got to meet the owner, Brian, and the official shop mascot, Jayden. Jeremiah is the shop manager and he took great care of me.Their mechanics work quickly and efficiently. I wasn't there for an expensive job, but they made me feel like I was. Usually when a single female walks into a mechanic they see dollar signs. Not these guys. They were fair and honest and do good work.I definitely recommend them and I'll be back for sure. Nowadays it's hard to find a mechanic that you feel that you can trust. G&M Auto Repair is an honest shop.Service: Oil change

I got an oil change a few weeks ago for the first time at this shop. A young gentleman (I believe his name was Trevor) was very kind and professional at the front desk and over the phone. I've took my mother's car in here several times, They have always been fair and honest. For complex stuff or simple stuff. I'm new to the area and decided to chance it with G&M, I'm glad I did. Jeremiah is very easy to talk to, and work with, he even showed me the bad parts, and fixed components that I didn't even know that had to be fixed. I don't know why you would go to anyone else. If you want an honest mechanic shop, go there. Very happy with them.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair

My boyfriend and I have been using G & M for over four years. They are excellent and honest. I recommend them to all of my friends. This trip was a typical experience with them. The car was looked at and fixed faster than expected. I had it back in working condition in less than 24 hours.

Brad is awesome to deal with. Fair rates & no overselling for what you do not need. I will be a returning customerI have been with G&M for a few years under recommendations. G&M are the greatest and best price available. I just got my truck yesterday from them for the struts and took my car to them today, turned out to be nothing and they were 100% honest about it. Brad was very helpful diagnosed my car and provided the estimate . The work was done on time and my car was ready when he said it would be. Price was fair. This is actually the third time I visited them on a prior visit they took the the time to stop what they were doing and look at at minor issue and fix it immediately, no long wait! This is the third time I ve taken my vehicle to Brad at G&M auto, and the third time I have come away believing that there are still mechanics with skill and integrity in the business.He is trustworthy, reliable, and honest. His work is of the highest quality, he is polite and professional, and I have recommended him to everyone I know.Go to G&M if you want good work.

We went to G&M auto repair because they had great reviews online and they did not disappoint. We had them replace our info touchscreen for our 2006 prius a year ago. This time we needed a new hybrid battery. This is the place to go because they specialize in hybrids. Brad takes care of his customers with friendly and honest info about the repair process. He makes sure the work is done right and on time. We own three hybrid vehicles and will definitely go back to G&M auto repair if we have any issues in the future.

Talk about honesty and integrity! I recently brought my wife s vehicle into G & M Auto Repair. We were experiencing a huge loss in power, as well as a knocking sound coming from underneath the hood. Not good.After running a diagnostic on the vehicle, G & M Auto Repair confirmed our worst fear the engine needed to be replaced.Here is the killer: Instead of charging us what would have easily been thousands of dollars, they explained to me that our vehicle s engine was still covered under the manufacturer s warranty. Given the fact that we had well over 130,000 miles on the car, I did not think this was possible.The representative went on to tell me that, due to a manufacturing issue, the manufacturer extended the warranty on the engine to 120,000 miles. I was still outside of this range, but G & M advised me to contact the dealership to see if they would make an exception.As I write this today, we are in a rental car (fully paid for by the dealership) while a brand-new engine is being installed in our vehicle. ALL FREE OF CHARGE!These guys not only went above and beyond in regard to finding the issue but they went several steps further by checking recalls, bulletins, and other pertinent information about our particular make and model.They knew that they would not make any money if they advised us of the outstanding bulletin about our vehicle, but they did it anyway.I originally went to G & M Auto Repair because of their star rating on Google. As with any rating system, part of me always wonders about the legitimacy of reviews, especially when a business has such a high rating. I m glad I relied on the stars on this one. I m just surprised G & M is not a full 5 stars (they were 4.8 at the time of this post).Thanks guys! If everyone did business like you do, there would not be a need for a rating system. You are truly amazing!

Very professional place. I personally wouldn t trust just any mechanic to work on my car but G&M autos mechanics they are the best. I have a 1978 Datsun and they were even able to pull up the diagrams I couldn t. I am very happy to have found G&M Auto Repair. Brad has been great to work with. Anytime he notices issues with any of our cars he's always willing to explain things in detail so that I understand the need for the repair. I know choosing a repair shop can be daunting but if you're looking for one, I highly recommend G&M. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

This is the first time i go to G & M Auto Repair and definently will come back again. Jeremiah was friendly and explained how the process works and was up front with diagnostic charges. Also they were able to take care of my cars problem within a short time. Jeremiah kept in touch with me regarding the status of my car and what needed to be repaired. He was again up front with the process and the work that needed to be done. The price was fair and i have had no problem after the car was fixed. Thank youService: Electrical repair

Personally, my experience at G&M Auto Repair was absolutely SUPERB. The head director, Brad, knew exactly what was wrong with my car. His customer service skills are a PLUS. He also took good care of me in meeting my needs. Honestly, I would highly recommend anyone that are having problems with their vehicle and need immediate attention to visit G&M Auto Repair, indeed.

When the local Subaru dealer closed, I was very concerned about not having a reliable mechanic in my area. Luckily I found G & M. They basically can do anything except warranty work or recalls. John the owner and Brad the manager go above and beyond to make sure everything is working to a T. They also have GREAT customer service and even send hand written thank you notes.I ve been there 3 times already for service, a battery replacement, and a MAJOR insurance claim. They did a professional job all 3 times. I won t ever go anywhere else!!!

Been going here for a couple years with 3-4 cars now. Reviewed other shops in area and G&M had the best in the neighborhood. Brad has been fantastic and has a great attitude with the customers. In fact, daughters car goes in tomorrow for a new alternator.

My car had broken down Friday night at 7:30, I had a tow truck on the way and had called and left a message (after hours) letting them know that I was going to have my vehicle towed there and I needed it fixed right away because I was helping my daughter move into her apartment and I needed to quickly get back home-9 hours away. John called me within 10 minutes and said he would get me in first thing Saturday morning! Note that this happened on Labor Day weekend. Once the correct part was in his hands he had it fixed within two hours!!! G&M auto repair saved the day. Honest and hard working mechanics are hard to find...they are exceptional! I HIGHLY recommend using G&M auto repair for any auto issues you may have!!!

Jeremiah and crew alway do right by me. I take all my vehicles to G&M for routine maintenance and the occasional bigger jobs. I just had an oil change in our prius. They had me in and out very quickly. They made some recommendations for further maintenance but never pressures or hard sales. Great shop. No complaints.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

On the afternoon of December 23rd, I was on the 405 heading into The Valley from the top of Sepulveda Pass. As I braked to reduce my speed on the downgrade, I heard a loud grinding noise and felt a vibration in the steering wheel. I immediately called G & M, explained what I was experiencing to Richard, and he said bring the car in. Oh sorry, Richard runs the joint. Keep in mind that this was 2 days before Christmas, and the shop was closing in a couple of hours. Always smiling, upbeat, and professional, Richard greeted me when I got there and pulled the car into one of the service bays. Fernando, one of the very experienced, talented service technicians, diagnosed that the rotors were the problem. While I waited, he machined the rotors to perfection. As I drove home, the brakes worked great!Most recently, this past Thursday I noticed that my right front headlight was out. I called and asked Richard if I could bring the car in Friday (yesterday) morning to replace it. He energetically said, "Of course! I open at 8." I got there just as the doors were rolling up. Again, with an enthusiastic hello, Richard and I chatted briefly about the fact we both love our Toyotas --I have a Prius V, and Richard with a Prius C. We agreed we'll probably keep our cars forever. Shortly thereafter, Toti (another very experienced, talented service technician) headed to my car and replaced the headlight lamp. I was in and out in 12 minutes!If you live in the Santa Clarita Valley...wait, let me change that...If you live in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, this is the shop to bring your car for service. With good prices and skilled, friendly, honest people, why would you go anywhere else?

One of the best Experience I ever had. If you re looking for fast and honest mechanics, this the place to go. Everyone there is very friendly. I was having car problem in the morning. I called to see if I can bring it in. They told me go ahead and bring it and In a couple of hour later they called me to tell me My water pump went out in my car. I was thinking great i would be Car less for couple of day but I wasn t. I got my car right back the very next day!

G&M will take care of all your car needs with honesty, integrity and professionalism. My car felt brand new when I pulled out of there and I just had brakes and an axl seal fixed. Talk to Brad. He will walk you through everything. My new go to mechanic and repair shop.

It doesn't matter what work they do on your vehicle. They are great at explaining and giving you the option of what can be done to repair your car and the cost which ever option you choose. They know their stuff, and they work fast. I moved in to Santa Clarita in 2003. These guys have been the best. Thanks for the good work.

Returned to G&M Auto after living in NYC for 7 years. Service team is still excellent and the work done is superb. Will be taking my Nissan Rogue to G&M Auto for all necessary maintenance.Update 07/10/2020: both the front office and the Service team are still excellent and the work done is superb.
