John was instantly personable, yet to the point. He seems to actually care about your situation, unlike other shops and dealerships that only try to get as much money as they can from you.He ordered and programmed / cut a new key fob for my 2010 Acura MDX, and replaced an inside door handle for me.I was concerned there might be speaker buzz after his team took off and replaced the door panel to do this work, but he assured me there would not. I got the car back after only a few hours in the shop, new perfect key and no buzz when I slapped some bass-heavy tunes!! Highly recommend. John is honest and his prices are totally fair.He let me know of a couple other minor issues, and let me know they were not at emergency-level, which I appreciate. Most shops try to get you to do everything under the sun they can find wrong with you car, even if the work doesn t need to be done.Oh and also, my oil was low, so he topped off my (synthetic Mobil 1) oil at no charge. Pretty rad service. Thanks again, John!

I love bringing my cars here (Okay, I don't like spending money, or having to have repairs made), but after having been run through the ringer by other auto repair places I have finally found a mechanic that I trust. John used to work on my 2009 Civic, and now I trust only him to do maintenance on my 2020 Civic. He has also done the timing belt/water pump on my wife's Subaru Outback, along with a major tune up of the same car, which now has 207K miles on it and is running like it's brand new. I really like John and his staff. and recommend him highly!

John knew my older Honda Accord issue immediately and gave honest advice that was a bulls eye for solving the problem. Really knows Hondas! Trustworthy and competent. Professional.

John told me the service would take ~2 hours. I dropped the car at 10, they never communicated back so I called back at 2. They told me there's extra stuff that need to be fixed (w/ extra cost) and cannot be done before 5. The owner didn't apologize and was angry when I complained. The good thing was that they gave back my car key w/o any charge.

If you're skimming reviews, then I'll just say that "Honda Acura of Campbell" has been a great find for me. Give them a try. You'll be glad you did. This review is many months overdue - and richly deserved.Backstory - I wanted to get a lingering problem fixed with my Accord. My father originally purchased the car, and somewhere along the way, the driver's door-lock mechanism would no longer lock/unlock the driver's door when pressing alarm-enable/disable buttons on the key-fob. While the alarm would be enabled/disabled, the door-lock mechanism failed to operate. My father indicated that he brought the car to an area Honda dealer for repair, but was told by the dealer that the problem could be resolved by paying $27 to replace the battery in his key-fob ($27? Really? Really.). Not only did my dad get ripped on the cost to re-place - a perhaps $5 battery, the new battery did not fix the problem. Then, the service manager informed my dad that the problem couldn't be fixed.Subsequently, I inherited the car, and the door-lock issue became a daily annoyance to me. To make things worse, the rear driver's side door lock stopped working. Enough was enough. I wanted this fixed. In the back of my mind played the message from the Honda dealer that the problem couldn't be fixed. I figured that I would try again with a Honda dealer repair facility, as I reasoned that, "Who could take better care of a Honda than a Honda dealer?" At least, I would find-out how much fixing this annoying issue would cost. $1,000? $1,500?The Honda Dealers - I began looking at customer reviews for the repair facilities at the area Honda dealers. Disappointed with the reviews for the one closest one to me, I read the reviews for the next closest dealer, and so on. About half-way up the Peninsula and East Bay, I gave up because, to me, the reviews described so many unsatisfactory experiences.Finding Honda Acura of Campbell - So, I thought, "Well, I'll see what I can find with local repair shops that work on Hondas. After reading some so-so reviews for a couple shops that happened to work on Hondas, too, I found "Honda Acura of Campbell". The reviews I read were refreshingly positive. So, I decided to give them a try, and here's what I found:I stopped by the facility mid-afternoon. After a quick introduction with the owner "John", he was not only able to diagnose the exact problem, he felt he could have it fixed by the next day. He replaced both non-functioning door lock mechanisms, and the total cost was so reasonable that I almost couldn't believe it. Many months later, the door-locks are still working well.A Honda service manager indicated the problem couldn't be fixed. Honda Acura of Campbell respectfully disagreed, and they have become my new Honda repair and smog-check facility. Highly recommended. Thanks in advance for Liking and sharing this review so that other Honda owners can benefit from finding out about Honda Acura of Campbell.Service: Electrical

I wish I knew they were here before. I've had my Acura TL for over a decade and used Stevens Creek Acura. Their service was good, but this place is better, faster, and less expensive - and the guys working there are great. Very friendly and easy to work with. This is my new spot for sure.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

I was referred to John years ago. Im very happy to say he is the only mechanic I have been able to trust implicitly. Being a woman sometimes presents challenges about car repair. John has always been honest, fair and consistently wonderful. I cannot say enough about his customer service skills and execptional knowledge of Hondas and Acuras.I am a customer for life. I hope he is aroundf or the rest of my days as I will always be a loyal fan of his and Hondas.

excellant and I am giving it 4.5 star because I've had just one car repaired so far. I took my 96 honda accord to the repair shop called Ranson auto by mistake and they charged me close to $200 dollar just to figure out what is wrong with my car and they wanted to replace several parts including my battery that is working fine. I just picked up my car and tookit to Honda Accura and met Steve and he changed ulternater in my car in a day and my car has been running great. Steve was honest and very prompt in calling me back and my car runs like a champ. I will take my son's Toyota Echo to him and will keep you posted as to how it worked out.

John is a honda master mechanic. He and his staff do excellent work. He works to get the best deals and doesn't push unnecessary maintenance like some unscrupulous mechanics.
