I called as I was leaving work recently for a smog test since I needed to go to the DMV the next day. Amar was kind enough to fit me in even though I had no appointment. When I arrived they directed me where to go and even prepared a chair for me so I could sit while they did the test. I was very impressed. It didn t take long at all and they sent my test over to the DMV. The price was also very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place!Services: Smog certification, Emissions testing

#1 Auto Repair and Smog is the place to go! Amar does fantastic work and takes pride in his work he did a FANTASTIC job on my dodge charger, my car sounds and performs so much better I HIGHLY recommend this shop.

I am glad to know such capable and trustworthy mechanics, like Amar, in the neighborhood. I came to Amar's #1 Auto Repair by accident, as my car overheat nearby. Amar masterfully fixed it within one day and explained what went wrong. He didn't try to oversell things my car does not need. The price is fair. He will be my go-to mechanic for next repairs.

I have been to several different auto repair shops in the past, and I have to admit that this place is very honest and not trying to rip you off. Amar was the best mechanic I ever met and he was very thorough (he even tested 30 times after he fixed my car), honest and reliable. I normally don't review much but after the service I have decided to leave the review for this place at least. Thank you Amar for your great service today.

Took my 2003 Acura MDX to Amar at 9:30 AM with a rattle in the front left wheel. Amar test drove it, dropped me off at home along the way, expertly trouble shot it down to a lose bolt in the front wheel assembly, had it fixed before noon, and charged me a very nominal fee. Amar has a genuine love for his craft, is extremely knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. Look no further for all your auto repair needs.

I had originally booked an appointment with Amar through OpenBay. Even though there was a communication mix up between the two, Amar made time that week to change my timing belt. The work was done when he said it would be at the original price he quoted. I mentioned that I would be driving the car more than usual and he let me know what work I might be thinking about in the near future. I plan on taking my car back to him in the future.

Amaond is the best mechanic and best at smog test. Without him I would have sold my car. Very honest and resonable rates. The best I ever used.

After buying a new used car I stopped by without a appointment, owner was able to get all my services done. Now I can drive my new car with out worrying about any services pass due.
