After visiting various car dealerships in search of a preowned Mini, none of them instilled the trust I needed to make such a significant purchase. It was important to me that the dealership have good reviews and a good rating from the California Better Business Bureau. Bob Smith MINI surpassed my expectations with outstanding reviews and a stellar BBB rating. I traveled 50 miles, out of my way, to this car dealership because of the outstanding customer experience reported by other customers.From the moment I spoke to Jacinda to inquire about the car, I knew I was in good hands. I made an appointment with her to test drive the car and she remained the one and only salesperson that I had to deal with. Unlike other dealerships where you often have to deal with multiple people and engage in endless back and forth negotiations; I appreciated that I only had to deal with one person here.Jacinda was incredibly knowledgeable about the car, explaining everything thoroughly and addressing all my questions. She provided information about the vehicle's history and vehicle inspection records, which further reassured me of my decision. I felt confident that I would be purchasing a reliable car that met my needs.Upon purchase the service department took the time to ensure that the car I purchased was in impeccable condition, and they provided a full tank of gas. Before I hit the road Jacinda helped me connect my phone to the infotainment system and turned on all the driving safety features for me. With my lease about to end, Miklos Forgo of Bob Smith Mini walked me through the lengthy buyout process so that I was able to purchase my car. It's my 2nd time dealing with Miklos and Bob Smith and both times the experiences was pleasant and professional. So! I took possession of my Brand New, 2024, Mini COOPER F56 yesterday. Love the car! But, that s not what this rating is about .it s about the Mini Team at the dealership. Everyone, and I mean everyone was open, honest, forthright .and frankly made the buying experience perfect. There is no "hard sale" with Mini s ..the price is the price. But, the team can creatively work with you to get it to fit your budget.Next: SHOUT OUT TO JACINDA! (Sales) I ordered mine from England. She knew the process, and set realistic expectations of how it was going to go. Always has a smile on her face, and positive attitude. Called me with updates, and frankly? She put up with my weirdness as a "Miniac!"Also a shout out to Chris and Frank cause they we helpful too. They didn t treat me like a customer, per se. But got the deal done. I d have a beer with them, no problem!Thank you Mini Team!

Fantastic experience. My salesperson, Jacinda Olivas, is the best. Even though Jacinda knew from the start we were just looking, she took the time to answer all our questions. Most importantly, NO hard sell. We left the dealership to talk it over with my 18 year old daughter, Abby, the buyer. She really wanted to buy the Mini Cooper so we returned about an hour later and purchased the car from Jacinda. Who, by the way, happens to own the same model Mini Cooper. Figure the odds! After the finalization and receiving the keys, Jacinda again took extra time with my daughter to link my daughter s phone to the car and explain all the buttons to her. (So many buttons!) As I said at the beginning, what a fantastic experience. Thank you Jacinda, you are the greatest!!

I am really happy with my new car from Bob Smith Mini. Frank and Miki were very helpful throughout the process. I live 35 miles away from Calabasas so I reached out to Bob Smith via email. They were very helpful throughout the process and when I went to see my Mini, I knew it was exactly what I wanted. I really love my new Mini and am glad it all worked out great!

Process is slow, but that s normal for any car your are getting. The employees were nice and let me go on a rocking test drive to really get comfortable with my car. If you like Mini Cooper this place is great and has a decent selection of new and used.

Hawaii (Big Island) appreciates Miklos for all the professional assistance he , Frank, and Jacinda provided in purchasing our new Mini Clubman. It's not an easy task buying in Cali and shipping to the Big Island but, Bob Smith and more importantly Miklos, made it happen. Yes, there is paperwork, DMV, and Safety inspections that need to be coordinated along with the shipper (Pasha). The most important piece is Communication. Miklos and BS Mini were very prompt and followed through on every aspect of the process (just like they promised).We've likely all experienced a decline in Customer Service due to "more efficient" computer chat and virtual assistance. With BS Mini, you deal directly with a live person who takes care of your particular process. It is the same experience I had with their Service Department. This is why going directly to the "Dealer" is worth the visit versus second, or third parties.A Big Island Mahalo to Miklos and Team BS Mini!

I know that money can't buy you happiness, but it can get you a new Mini convertible of your dreams! Jacinda Olivas has been so lovely throughout the whole process. Super friendly, very professional, answered every question I could think of and was super patient the whole time. She never pressured me and always made me feel like she was there to help me first and foremost.

I just bought my 30th car, Bob Smith is one of the best dealers ive ever had the pleasure of working with. Jacinda was amazing, i ordered a vehicle, and she updated me throughout the whole process. I live 2 hours away, I was able to do the whole order process remotely, and when the car showed up, i went to pick it up and sign a few documents.I really really like the "One Person" experience. Bob smith doesnt play the games where you are pushed back and forth to a finance department and sales manager to finish your purchase, the sales person handles the whole thing, from test drive to handing you the documents and your keys.There are two closer BMW dealerships (SLO and Santa Maria) and i would drive 2.5 hours past either one of those to go to bob smith.

This review is for the service department.Everyone is so helpful and friendly.But a SUPER shout out for Matthew Bull who really goes out of his way for the customer. Always answers texts/calls and extremely professional,He helped us out with out an appointment and got us on our way fast.Very well run dealership!

If you're looking for a fun car with a hassle free experience, check out Bob Smith Mini in Calabasas... Like most people, I dread purchasing cars and spending time at dealerships. Jacinda at Bob Smith was completely the opposite of what I expected. Fantastic pressure free sales.... answered all questions and kept in touch without being pushy. If you're in the market, go check them out!!!

Had a great experience yesterday at Bob Smith Mini in Calabasas. When I pulled up in my old Mini, there was Robert, whom I purchased my first Mini from in 2010. He, as usual, took great care of me along with Alexis and the entire financial crew. I'd love to do it all over again! Cheers!

My family and I have bought or leased 9 minis from Bob Smith over the course of the last 15 years and I couldn t recommend them more. Micky (one of their salesmen) handled the lease on my last car and he has been great. I recently moved out of state and he was still willing to help me get into the right new car even though he won t be getting anything out of the deal. I highly recommend Bob smith and Micky to anyone in the market for a mini/bmw.

Bob Smith MINI was an amazing place to buy my MINI Cooper SE. Even during the car shortage, Bob Smith MINI had the perfect vehicle on lot for me. Jacinda was absolutely AMAZING in every aspect, and also helped answer all of my questions, even after I had purchased the car. Finance was quick and easy, the manager was very nice, and Rockstar was also very welcoming. I would definitely go back to Bob Smith MINI in the future.

I very seldom every write a review! But I needed a smaller vehicle and on Saturday my husband and I ventured from Ojai To Bob Smith Mini in Calabasas dreading the whole sales person test drive event We were both just astounded by the knowledge, kindness and non pressure of sales associate Jacinda Olivia s!!!We left telling her we needed to think about it not once did she say this car will be sold so don t take too long to make a decision. Such a turn off comment!Before we were out of the dealership drive .., I turned to my husband and said I want to give Jacinda the sale and I loved the Mini Clubman it was even taken out of the showroom for me to drive..Monday morning my husband drove. down to calabasas and closed the deal!!!Tuesday when I went to pick up the car a huge bow wassitting on the mini SUCH A SPECIAL TOUCH . Bought a lot of new cars never had that touch!!One last note , Jacinda was so patient in explaining the car workings to me!Thank you Bob Smith for having such and incredible associate and Thank You Jacinda . I love my MINI CLUBMAN.

It was wonderful to have Jacinda help with the purchase of my Mini Cooper Hardtop. She was knowledgeable and could answer questions, but did not apply pressure for the sale. I came with a friend who knows cars, while I primarily was wanting a small car with safety features. In addition, I had fallen for the looks of the Minis I had seen in Santa Barbara. Thanks to Jacinda from a happy senior driver!

This was my first experience with Bob Smith Mini, but certainly not my first experience buying a car. Let me tell you, these guys get it right! I started by looking online and asking questions about a Mini Cooper SE (electric). They are hard to come by. I received very prompt replies from Rockstar and Frank and when they had one in stock for me to test drive, I was informed immediately. There was ZERO pressure from these guys. Just friendly and helpful. It felt more like borrowing a tool from neighbor than buying a car. I took the plunge and placed my order and sooner than expected, my new Mini had arrived! The car was detailed...not just washed, and when my daughter asked about removing the warning sticker on the side window, Chris, the General Sales Manager, took care of it right away, also noticing a small spot on the inside of the windshield that needed cleaning. This group truly goes above and beyond to make you happy. Rockstar even snuck outside and put a big red bow on the car to surprise my daughter, without any prompting. Just genuinely nice people with so much attention to detail. This is what buying a car should be like...fun! We're loving our new Mini and have the nice experience to remember. Thanks guys!

If you lease your Mini, don't return it here you will get taken advantage of. Per the Mini Cooper Lease Return Guidelines, any ding / dent is acceptable as long as it's under 2 inches. The lease coordinator Shane inspected my Mini and said I have many door dings on the passenger side along with a 4" crease. Thus, I was going to get a 300.00 bill. Knowing that dealerships typically charge way more than other repair shops I took my car to 3 different ding repair guys, all three could only find one door ding on the entire car and they all said it was well under 2 inches. So I emailed the General Manager of Bob Smith. All I got was that the lease coordinator says you have a 4" crease in your door and she is standing by her inspection. (see photo for the " 4 inch crease") So I took it over to Valencia where two Mangers did an inspection. Manager - "the car looks great, you have one door ding on the passenger side but it's under 4" so we don't charge for that." I literally hugged the guy. Thank you sir for knowing how to use a ruler. Maybe the lease coordinator gets a kick back for every dollar she can get out of lease returns. Either way... take it to Valencia.Also, I did take my Mini for service at Bob Smith, I asked them to do a tire rotation... they wanted to charge me over 100.00, other Mini dealers the cost is 25.00. Just a heads up.

I wanted a very specific Mini, ordered it and therefore had to wait quite some time. And that meant that Jacinda, my representative at Bob Smith, had to support me for a long time too. And she was great! Was on top of every single email, gave me great info and then was super when we finally picked up the car. A car that I LOVE! Thanks Jacinda!!

Our experience at Bob Smith BMW, with Jacinda on the MINI side, was phenomenal. Buying a car can be nervewracking and stressful, but this was a much more pleasant experience than I've had in the past.More importantly, I was given the opportunity for a proper test drive (none of this once around the block stuff), and even able to look at a car which hadn't been through detailing yet because I wanted to see the color combination in person.Even after the decision was made and payments done, Jacinda took the extra time to show us the ins and outs of the features because I was unfamiliar with the nav system. And she followed up two days later to see if there were any questions.I don't plan on getting another car for quite some time, but when I do, I know I'll be looking up Bob Smith once again.

I have had two great service experiences at Bob Smith s Mini Cooper in Calabasas thanks to my service technician, Matthew Bull. The first was a tire that went flat during a holiday weekend. I had some trouble getting through all the phone prompts, but once I got a hold of Matthew, it was a breeze. My car was ready in just a few hours and sparkling clean to boot! Yesterday, I took my car in for a regular service, while they were making the repair, Matthew sent me a video, and I noticed my rims were very scratched. At first, he told me it might take a few days to repair, but then Matthew was able to push it through to pick up the next day even though it was his day off. Exceptional service!

I LOVE MY MINI! First off, let me say this was a hard choice for me. I had been a Ford driver for over 20+ years. When I inquired about a Mini, Jacinda had the best guest service! She answered all my questions, had amazing communication and made every step easy. She tipped me over the edge and I am so glad she did! I hope to be driving Minis for over 20+ years. Bob Smith is a great place and they are lucky to have such an amazing team member. Thank you Jacinda!
