Great surprise. 1st RV park experience. The whole operation ran very smooth. This was a great choice for a newbie. Whoever planned this park thought about the details. Staff was friendly and made check in easy and smooth. Food and ambiance were great. Bathrooms were clean. Pools and dog park were very nice. Gym was fantastic. The entire park was very clean, well maintained. Cute town to explore. Will definitely stay again.

Our family needed to cancel a reservation due to a severe rain storm in the area. We did not feel safe driving our trailer up the freeway with high winds and heavy rainfall. We called to cancel 2.5 days prior to our arrival date, and explained our safety concern. We were told the cancellation would be accepted but our deposit and a fee would be collected.I understand the 72 hour cancellation rule for general cancellations. But in this case, it was a safety concern and the campground was given over 48 hrs notice. This is a very poor way to do business and great way to lose loyal customers. We will not be returning.

We came to Flying Flags my husband and I for a Wedding at a Winery near by. So happy we did this place is awesome. From checking in and during our time here the staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The campground is very clean. Their restaurant has a huge firepit in their patio we ate while listening to a band play on the first night. This place is really family oriented and dog friendly. Come down bring your family & friends you won't be disappointed. We will definitely come back with our familyRooms: We stayed in our RV. The cabins looked clean and inviting.Food & drinks: The restaurant there has a variety of food. We had a Pizza and a Cobb aalad both were delicious. Breakfast the next day was also great. We brought our own food but it's nice to change it up once in a while.

RACIST!!! I attended this place in July 2022. My family member simply walked up to the front office and asked is there a charge for the showers bc I need quarters for change.? the woman said the showers are reserved for paying GUESTS ONLY. Then he says I am a paying guest here she asks what spot are you in. He says spot 208. She says ok, there is no charge for paying guests. He says okay thank you. Then a security guard went to disturb my family member as he was naked in the shower. He aggressively knocked and told him to leave as he was told my the woman in the office that he was homeless.Upset, my family and I complain to the next morning, and the owner denied everything and claimed that we could take things to a different representative and gave us a phone number and denial.Absolute horrible way to treat a family of Hispanics at the majority of the staff at this campsite is CaucasianWhat makes me upset, is that he wasn t wearing anything that would make him look homeless. Shorts, t shirt, clean socks, rock port shoes, and a lakers hat. If a white man wore this, he most definitely wouldn t have been insulted the way my family member was.

This was my first time here. The grounds are clean. The staff are nice and service is on point. We stayed in one of the cottages. The flooring the bathroom were warped pretty bad. Almost tripped a few times. The sofa was not the most comfy. The ac/heating system is a little too complicated. The bedrooms are tight! The vent on the floor kept coming out which was inconvenient. Didn't have time for the firepit but believe you have to supply your own wood. The outdoor furniture were stained pretty bad.Communication with staff is great! Quite quiet for a huge place.Nearby activities: Solvang & Los Olivos

told use price for rv spot for 4 nights, which was high, and then raise price after taking credit card and charging it. $792 for camping on the dirt 10 feet from the next camper. all of us in our group will not be back. way over priced.

Can't say enough about this place and the folks who work here -- all positive. They were very gracious and went above and beyond when my wife ended up in the hospital down the road in SB. Flying Flags became my back-and-forth home base. They allowed me to extend my stay, and due to the nature of our situation, one of the nights was on them, gratis. Brought a tear to my eyes knowing that an organization like this actually has compassion. Bless them.(The photos are from an awesome vintage RV group that was beginning to arrive the day before I left. I guess this is an annual event here. Very cool :-)

We stayed in a Deluxe pull through site on the 4th weekend. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I always saw a staff members cleaning and maintaining the park. There are tons of things to for all ages. The pools were clean and refreshing. The particular site we had was a little small (wide), but it was nice that it has grass! I would definitely go here again!

We usually love coming here. This past Labor Day it was crazy and couldn't even walk without a kid almost hitting us or my dog on their bikes. The pools were beyond packed and the spas were a bit cloudy. It's time for another pool! Love the pizza oven, live entertainment and BBQ night! We had some ants at our spot and they came right over and took care of it.

I am so disappointed and outraged with Flying flags I need to let others know how unfair their cancellation policy is. I booked a reservation for 2 nights, but had to reschedule due to illness. They needed to know my new dates and gave name until the end of the day to let them know. Anticipating that I was going to feel well I rescheduled for the following weekend. Unfortunately, I am still ill and had to cancel again. I gave them plenty of notice (4 days) and asked if I could select a date in the future or if they could refund some of my deposit. I told them I would provide them with a doctor's note. I received an email telling me I cannot select another date and I will not be getting any money back. in fact, they said I needed to confirm I wasn't going or I would incur "No show fees". First of all, why would I be charged additional monies if I already paid for the 2 nights???? In this time of COVID and so many related illnesses you would think they would be more accommodating and understanding to people who have to cancel and/or reschedule. Money is an issue and I saved up to stay at this RV resort. it is very sad that they are so money oriented and not more people oriented. I do not wish to be ill. I would love to go tho this RV resort, but sometimes life gets in the way. I doubt Flying Flags would be financially burdened if they allowed me to reschedule. there are so many other RV parks to choose from that you would think they would have better customer service. It is obvious they don't care about people.

Was told that it was a premium RV lot.I would NOT call it premium by a long shot. Was told that's what I ordered somewhat correct based on the person I talked to directly over the phone that it would fit. Told them we had a 38' coach towing a full size sedan. No where's close to premium, uneven, had a hard time getting in the right position in order for our levers to work and then we barely where able to park out vehicle sideways the length of the front end of the coach.Plus quite hour are obviously not observed, guest next to us partied and loud music till past midnight.NO, will never patronize them again and I'm letting anyone know how's heading in that direction to avoid them at all costs!

This place is the best! Special shout out to the facilities guy who went out of his way to help out with fire pit and came back to wipe down the wet chairs without being asked! The customer service of this place is great.Nearby activities: Solvang!

Very nice RV Park that also has cabins. There are pools, spas, children's playground, full hookups, cable tv, a pizza restaurant and seperate bar. Dog park. Lots of trees which was great because it was hot when we were there. Very close yo Solvang and right across the street from Anderson's split Pea.Nearby activities: Solvang is very close and so is the beach.

Visited a friend on the weekend. Staying in a really cute tiny home. The whole place was packed and poppin' and fully paved with nice grass and concrete spaces. There was live music, kids dancing, nice swimming pool area. Everything was very well maintained and spotless. No worries about stickers in the dog's paws when you go for a walk here. They even have an agility course in a little dog park area that was fun to watch people attempting to teach their dogs how to go through the course? I have heard from some people that it is maybe a little too party party sometimes and they actually left to get more peace and quiet...

I loved this RV resort. They have a great playground that is always clean and my boys loved the splash pad! The only negatives that I have is the office never answered the phones. It was so hard to get ahold of anyone and in the shower room the door didn't go all the way to the floor. I was uncomfortable with the fact it would be easy for anyone to walk into the bathroom and look under or over the door. But the water pressure was excellent and was clean!

Great family fun and super close to Surrounding wineries. Very friendly service out of the park and my hats off to the maintenance because each restroom was very well kept and clean. We had so much to do in little time we were there but we are definitely planning a trip back. The pricing is very reasonable compared to other campgrounds within an hour's drive. The food at the store was also delicious. Only thing I'm upset about does not knowing about this place earlier

Wonderful experience at Flying Flags! Love a place to stay that s pet friendly and guest friendly! We stayed in a Cottage which was clean, quiet and private! Brandon went above and beyond helping ensure our needs were met, and exceeded! The food at Feather & Fire did not disappoint! If you re gluten free, there is a GF crust option available which made my day!The pool and hot tub in the Cottage area were clean and quiet, made it so comfortable & assuring to use clean amenities! The grounds are well kept and the staff was very welcoming & friendly when we walked the grounds. What a gem in The Valley. 5-stars is an easy review!

We used to love going here. During the pandemic, it seems that the "rules" that you are texted after check-in were actually enforced. But after the pandemic? We tried it a few times and wound up next to party all-night people who had no regard for the "curfew." If you want a place that doesn't really enforce the curfew, this may be your spot. During our last visits, we made repeated phone calls and nothing was done about loud partying after 1 am. A "security" golf cart would drive by without stopping. When I called, I sensed a huge reluctance to enforce the curfew. This is why we avoid state-run campgrounds. But unfortunately, in my opinion, Flying Flags now carries the "anything goes" state-run campground vibe.

This place is huge! We have so many great things to tell about! The check in was like a hotel stay with the front desk feel. Our spot was a huge back in overlooking a part of the valley. We enjoyed riding our bike to their sister property to get some delicious sausages! The best part was being so close to Solvang. We would stay a month in that park if we could! Everything was easy and accessible, plus the staff was always friendly and prompt if we needed anything! Great place! They deserve a million stars!
